Kavita Chaudhary passes away due to cardiac arrest at 67

The television industry mourns the loss of veteran actress Kavita Chaudhary, known for her roles in iconic shows like Udaan and IPS Diaries, who passed away on February 15th due to cardiac arrest after battling cancer. Her sudden demise has left many in shock, including close friends and colleagues Anang Desai and Amit Behl, who shared their heartfelt condolences in a conversation.

Reflecting on their memories with Kavita, Behl recalled their shared roots at the National School of Drama, where they were both trained by the same mentor. “Kavita ji was our senior, a great human being, actor, and producer. Her passing is not just a loss to us personally, but to the entire film fraternity,” he expressed.

Desai, who was classmates with Kavita at the National School of Drama, fondly remembered their time together. “We shared special memories since our days at NSD. She will be remembered for her contributions to the industry,” he said, expressing sadness over the news.

Desai further revealed that although Kavita had been undergoing treatment, her sudden demise due to cardiac arrest came as a shock to everyone. “This news is deeply saddening to all of us,” he concluded, highlighting the profound impact of her loss on the industry and those who knew her.
