Kavita Kaushik was enjoying her vacation in Uttrakhand a few days before the floods. The actress took to her social media account and wrote, “Just a few days back I was confidently jumping into these rivers which are flooded today… my heart is full of prayers for the safety of all … and head bows in gratitude to mother nature for the close escape.”
She further added, “The hills are not meant for heavy developments, the rivers are naturally unfit to be controlled by dams, let Nature be natural and free… pls #devbhoomi #devbhoomiuttarakhand.”
