Kaun Banega Crorepati had it’s first crorepati of the season in Sanoj Roy. But when lady cook Babita Tade came to the hot seat, she took not only us but Mr. Bachchan too by storm. Hailing from Amravati, Andra Pradesh, Babita is a mid day meal cook who earns only Rs. 1500 per month. In the recent promo released by Sony tv, Babita is shown as the winner of Rs. 1 crore. Spectacular, isn’t it?
Well, in the promo itself, Babita shares her journey and says that she works at a local government school and cooks for the children there. Like Mr.Bachchan asks all the winners, what they will do with the prize money, the answer never surprises him or the audiences. Mostly people say that they want to buy a house or a car or want to help someone in need or do some charity. But Babita’s answer was filled with innocence as she said that her only desire is to have her personal mobile phone because there is just one phone for the entire family. Touched by her innocence, the makers of the show fulfilled her desire and gifted her mobile phone.
