Ragini knock at sanskaar’s room door. No response. She again knock getting the same response. She smile mischievously and starts banging at the door continuously.

Sanskaar (Open the door irritated said in anger) – What..?????

Ragini (making innocent face) – I want to talk to you.

Sanskaar (annoyed) – But I don’t want to talk right now… And that too with you.

Ragini (grinned and pushed him entering in the room and sit on the bed stubbornly ) – It’s about my life. You have to listen to me.

Sanskaar (giving her death glare) – O really..!!! (angrily hold her hand and drag her out of his room)(shout) Just get lost.(And shut the door on her face)

Ragini (shouted back mischievously ) – I DON’T LOVE LAKSH.

Sanskaar who was about to sit on his bed halted at his place and immediately run and open the door.

Ragini chuckled then grinned widely.

Sanskaar ( Shocked) – What did you just said..????

Ragini (nonchalantly) – I said I don’t love laksh.

His heart started beating fast and an unknown joy started developing in him. A curve about to appear on his lips when he composed himself.

Sanskaar (pretending unaffected) – So…!! Why are you telling me this.(avoiding eye contact) I don’t bother whom you love and whom not.(She bite her inner cheeks looking at him) (he hesitated ) Waise…..ammm…If you didn’t love him..(ragini raise her eyebrow and he pressed his dry lips nervously)… Why….I mean Why..you are planning to elope with him…???

Ragini suppress her laugh seeing him nervous.

Ragini (coming into the room dramatically) – You know sanskaar… I thought… I seriously thought about it.. That you hate me right..!! (she lift her chin asking and he nodded his head in positive immediately) And look at me…I mean it’s my age to marry now…maa papa are too worried about my marriage. (he look at her confused not getting anything) And you toh..don’t want to marry me right..!! (she again look at him n he nodded positively)  But I have to marry naaa…!! For my parents…for Mom..And I find laksh is totally handsome, hot and… (sanskaar closed his fist tight and ragini supress her laugh again seeing his burning face) So I decided to marry laksh only. And eloping is quite fun you know… (wink at him) Now you are free…. totally free from my… Haan what you said yaa… My faking rants that I love you and want to marr……

Before she could complete sanskaar dragged her holding her elbow tightly.

Sanskaar (angrily) – Are you mad…!!!!!! (in disbelief)  If I don’t want to marry you so you will marry anyone.

Ragini nodded her head innocently blinking her eyes.

Sanskaar (jerking her) – It’s not funny ragini.It’s about your life..!!!! your life you stupid.

Ragini (coming close to him)- Yaaa…It’s about my life… (tapping her index finger on her cheek)  But Why do ‘you’ care ??

Sanskaar (bluntly) – I care because I…………….
Ragini (coming more close)- because you…???
Sanskaar (lost himself in her fragrance) – because I…..
Ragini (holding his shoulders looking into his eyes straight) – You..???

Sanskaar comes back to sense with her phone ring and step back immediately.

Ragini shut her eyes annoyed looking at the caller ID showing laksh calling. Then she think something and smile widely and pick the call.

Ragini ( sit on his bed folding her legs) (On call extra sweetly)- Awwwwwwwww My baby was missing me..!!!

Sanskaar burned in jealousy and on the other side laksh coughed listening her.He dragged phone from his ears and look at the caller id..that by mistake he called swara in stead of ragini. He shakes his head and again put his phone back on his ear.

Laksh (confused) – Ragini….!!!  Are you sleeping..???  I am laksh…. not Sanskaar.

Ragini (showing extra happiness) – Yaa baby…I just talked to sanskaar about marriage and he said we don’t need to elope he will talk to our parents.

Sanskaar fumed at her tone where laksh wide his eyes.

Laksh (stammering) – Ragini..!! Are… yyyou..alllrigght..!!  You know naaa I love Swara..!!(horrified) What are you taking.. Our marriage…!! We were eloping..!!

Ragini (blushing little) – O I love you too baby.

And this is it for sanskaar he snatched phone from her hand and put it on his ear.

Sanskaar (gritted his teeth and in a warning tone)- Dare you call her again. And dare you think about eloping.I will seriously break your bones this time laksh.
Sanskaar cut the call angrily and Laksh gulped hard with wide mouth and eyes open.

Laksh (murmured) – What is his problem..!!! Khud to shadi krta nhi h… Aur meri shadi pe b ban laga rha..(he himself isn’t marrying and banning my marriage too) (scratch his head)And ragini..!!! What was she talking..??(making faces) aggrhh..stupid girl..!!

In sanskaar’s room

Ragini can’t control her laugh and giggled slightly. Sanskaar look at her annoyed.

Sanskaar (shrinking his eyebrows) What..???

Ragini (come towards him and pull his cheek) – You look cute when you got angry.

Sanskaar (rubbing his cheek) – Stop doing that..!! (making faces) And I am not cute..!

Ragini (laugh loudly) – Seriously you are damn cute more than your stupid tara.

Sanskaar (glare her and dragged her holding her hand) – Dare you call her stupid. She is tara..my tara.

Ragini (making weird faces) – What’s so special in that stup….(he glare n she gives him a tight smile) I mean in your tara.

Sanskaar (smile widely) – She is so special to me. You know she was my first gift mom dad gave to me.(Ragini look at him amused. She didn’t know that)

Ragini (softly) – That’s why you named her TARA. (Sanskaar look at her surprised.. Nobody knows why he named her that…not even his mom) It is combo of your parents name sujaTA RAm….isn’t it. He nodded smiling genuinely. She smiled back.

Ragini (in heart) –  I never knew that you love tara because of this reason. How innocent you are sanskaar.Today I love you even more.. than I love you before. (She placed her head on his chest closing her eyes ) I LOVE YOU SANSKAAR

He became numb for a second. He don’t know when his hand wrapped around her shoulder.Ragini encircled her hand around his waist tightly.This is not the first time she said those words to him but first time he is feeling something different in his heart listening her words.He tighten his grip on her. Both were lost in their moment forgetting themselves. They wanted to stop the time at that moment.

Ragini (slowly) – You too can say your feelings.

Sanskaar (lost and pressing her more to himself) – I….(Ragini’s heart started beating rapidly)(he pause for a second then said) …I.. HATE YOU RAGINI.

Ragini jerked shocked and look at him who smirk at her.

Sanskaar (laughing) – What..!!! What did you thought that I will waste those precious words on you.

Ragini (gritting her teeth) – Haha.. Very funny. (making faces) fine..!! You just Hate me..!! (mischievously)  O yaaa..I forgot why did I came here.

Sanskaar (still laughing)- Why..??

Ragini (smirking) – For invitation.

Sanskaar (confused) – Invitation..??

Ragini (teasingly) – Marriage is going to happen in next week. As you are one of the witness of it.So we have to invite you also naa.

Sanskaar (Wide his eyes and fumed ) – What the hell..!!!

Ragini (pulling his cheeks again) – Ale le le… What happen..!! Baby ko gussa aa gya..!!  Do come.. (wink at him) afterall it’s your best friend cum enemy (now) laksh’s marriage.

Sanskaar (gritted his teeth) – I will see how will he do this marriage.

Ragini giggled and left his room whereas sanskaar pull his hair frustrated.

Sanskaar’s Room, 5:30 am

Sanskaar was sleeping holding a pillow. Sujata and ragini peep into his room. Sujata push her into his room. Ragini turned towards sujata biting her nails nodding her head into no. Sujata press her lower lip under her teeth and threatened her. She made a puppy face. Sujata show her thumbs up and left from there. Ragini look at sanskaar and her lower lip nervously.

Ragini (murmured) – Sorry sanskaar..!!  But this was mom’s idea.(naughtily giggled ) but it will be fun.

She adjust something in flower vase and rushed towards washroom. She peeps into room after sometime to see whether he wake up or not..!! She sigh in relief to see him sleeping and come towards bed without making noises. And………

SPLASHHHHH…….!!!!!!!!

Sanskaar (shouted with closed eyes in a single breath ) – Flood…tara..flood… Run….no..no..swim…O God how will you swim. I’ll save you tara..!! Don’t worry… I’ll save you..!!

Ragini look at his reaction and burst out laughing loudly. Sanskaar open his eyes immediately and look at her shocked who was holding an empty bucket in her hand. He fumed realizing that it was her deed.

Sanskaar (angrily) – What the hell..!!!

Ragini (immitating him ) – Flood…tara..flood… Run….no..no..swim…O God how will you swim. I’ll save you tara..!! Don’t worry… I’ll save you..!!

He fumed and she again burst into laughter holding her stomach.

Sanskaar huffed in anger and came towards her…hold her hand tightly and dragged her towards himself roughly. She jerked and landed on his chest shutting her eyes tightly. Her laughter dried in her throat feeling the wetness of his body. She tried to free herself but he dragged her more close holding her waist tightly. She gulped feeling no distance between them. She raise her head and look into in his eyes which is fuming in anger. For a second she became confused thinking why he is angry then realization hit her and she wide her eyes horrified.

Ragini (stammer) – San..ss..kaarr…sanskaar..!!  Wo I… I came to wish you… G..ooo..d..morning.

He bend her hand behind her back and dragged her more close.

Sanskaar (glaring) – O really..!!!!

Ragini (facepalming herself in mind)- It..It wasn’t my plan.

Sanskaar (raising his eyebrow) – Then..????

Ragini (nervously) – Woh..It was..Mo…
(She look at sujata.. who was hiding behind door and laughing till now.. Shakes her head in no vigorously.)

Sanskaar (confused) – Mo…???

Ragini (fake laughing)- Mo…no.. no..Mo nhi….My….yaa..it was (think ragu think…haan got it)(teasingly) yaaa It was My Laksh’s Plan.

Sanskaar gritted his teeth in anger listening his name again. “My Laksh ” the word repeated in his mind. He shut his eyes frustrated.

Sanskaar (jerked her and shout)- OUT….!!!!!!!!!

Ragini (confused) – Huh..???

Sanskaar (shout this time on his highest pitch) – I SAID…..OUT….RIGHT NOW..!!!

Ragini shivered and closed her eyes tightly. Then she open her one eyes and gulped finding sanskaar’s deadly glare on her. She gave a tight smile to him and left from there. Sanskaar bang his hand on wall angrily.

Sanskaar (scream) – Ouch…!!!

He look at his hand then at wall.. make faces and lift his phone and dialed his number (I think you all know whose.. 😉

Laksh look at his ringing phone opening his eyes little in his deep sleep. Thinking it to be swara’s call like always in the morning. He picked up without looking at the number.

Laksh (with sleepy voice romantically ) – Good morning baby. Today you woke up so early.

Sanskaar burned like anything thinking the baby is ragini.

Sanskaar (with a sharp voice angrily) – Dare you say her baby again. I’ll kick you at that place which you can’t even tell anyone.

Laksh wide his eyes gulping hard listening his voice.

Sanskaar (in same tone) – Meet me at college. I will see you there only.

Laksh gulped horrified and look at phone and it shows the call ended.

Laksh (placing his hand on his jumping heart) – Sanskaar is gone mad. Why he is behind me n swara. Huhhh…Idiot fellow. From the moment he listened about our marriage he is like that.( Place his hand on his open mouth like hindi tv serials heroine.. fully shocked)  haaww…Sadma to nhi lag gya use…that he isn’t marrying till now and here I am planning to marry this soon.(Fold his hand in prayer dramatically )  Hey Bhgwan…theek kr do mere dost ko jaldi se…(O God…Get my friend well soon).

Sujata was making breakfast and ragini was sitting on slab biting apple.

Ragini (munching apple)- Hahaha.. Mom.. It was too fun..!! But I have a question..??

Sujata – Question..?? Ask.!!!

Ragini (curious) – Why did you make him drench by me..???

Sujata (giggled) – Hehe.. It was my trick to wake up your dad.. 😉 So I was preparing you to follow my steps.(wink)

Ragini mouth shaped a big ‘O’. She chuckled looking at her darling Mom.

Ragini (pouting) – But Mom…this is bad.

Sujata (hitting her forehead slightly) – And what you are doing with him… is good..??

Ragini bite her tongue and jump from slab and encircled her hand across her neck from behind.

Ragini (laughing little) – You know naa mom..!!! I love to tease him.

Sujata (chuckled) – I can’t understand your way of loving him.

She grab the tray of food in her hand and arranged on the breakfast table.

Ragini (coming behind her)- Are Mom…!!! I forgot to tell you a really important thing.

Ram came n sit on his chair.

Ramta (confused)  – Which important thing..???

Ragini (grinned) – I got know why he loves tara so much.

Sujata (curious) – What are you waiting then…tell naaa…(making faces)  why he love that stupid tara this much..!!! Ram too look at her curiously.

Ragini (with her charming smile)- Coz she was the first gift… you guys gave him. And you know what why he named her tara..!!! Because it is the name joining both of you.
“SujaTA RAm”.

Sujata gets teary eyes seeing the love of his son towards them. Ram look overwhelmed with this revelation. It was before sanskaar’s birth. Ram always wanted a girl and sujata wanted a boy. They went to buy some gifts for their unborn child. Sujata fighted with ram too when he chose a teddy bear that too a big one for their child. But at last she agreed to buy that one. They never know that their son will keep her name this much special.

Ragini (wiping sujata’s tear)- Ohoo Mom …!!! Now just bring back tara soon..!!(smiling) I don’t want to separate him from his tara much.

Sujata look at her with a bright smile nodding her head in yes.

Sujata (hitting ram’s hand suddenly)  – It was all because of you.

Ram( baffled) – What did I do now..??

Sujata (making faces) -Agr hum use kuch acha dete…to aaj mera hot n handsome bachha… Ek teddy k saath ni soya krta.. 😛
(If we gift him something good…. Then today my hot n handsome son…wouldn’t sleep with a teddy)

Ram nodded his head in disbelief whereas ragini giggled.

Sanskaar (coming towards them) – What happened Mom..???

Sujata nodded her head in no…and stand from her chair and peck his forehead. Sanskaar look at her surprised.

Sujata (making him sit) – Sit…!!! Today I will make you eat with my hands.

Sanskaar look at her shocked. He look at his dad who shrug his shoulder. He look at ragini who was smiling with twinkling eyes. He look at sujata who was holding a morsel in front of his mouth. His heart beamed with happiness. He can’t describe from how long he was waiting for this moment. He knows his mom love him so much…but she never showed it to him…never ever. He smiled with moist eyes and open his mouth. Sujata put the bite and he chewed it closing his eyes feeling ecstatic.

Sanskaar came down with his bag all ready for the college. Aarav who was eating his breakfast till now stop him.

Aarav – Bhai..!! Drop me school today..My bus is not coming.

Sanskaar nodded and sit on sofa. Ragini who was in kitchen with sujata came running.

Ragini (with a bright smile) – Drop me too….Got a flat tire today.

Sanskaar gave her a glare when she rushed out to get her bag from her house without even listening his reply.

Sanskaar (impatiently) – How much you eat fatty… Let’s go..!!!

Aarav (gulping his juice) – Let Bhabhi come naa bhai..!!!!

Sanskaar look at him shocked with wide eyes and ragini who just entered the house blushed listening it.

Sanskaar (coming towards him with a glare) – She is not your Bhabhi…!!  You understand..!!

Ragini’s face fell listening him.

Aarav (wiping his face with tissue) – Ok…!! Not now..!!! But my would be Bhabhi naa..!!

Sujata too came out listening him. For a second sanskaar felt happy listening the word “would be bhabhi “for her but his happiness change into frown as soon as he listened Aarav ‘s next words.

Aarav(coming towards ragini showing his back to sanskaar) – (wink at ragini) As now.. She is going to marry with LAKSH BHAI….so she is going to be my bhabhi naaa..!!!

Sujrag look at him shocked with a look “how did you know that “.

Sanskaar (with gritted teeth) – She isn’t going to marry that duffer. (angrily)  now go n get your bag..!!  I am waiting outside.

Sujrag n aarav burst into laughter as soon as he went out from there.

Ragini (patting his head little) – How did you know that fatty.

Aarav (smirking)  – I too live in this house only… I think you forget (wink) “Mere angry Brother ki dhulhan”.

Ragini blushed hard and rushed outside. Sujata chuckled and held his ear.

Aarav – Ouch..!!! Leave Mom..!!

Sujata (faking anger) – You are getting naughtier day by day.

Aarav (hugging her waist chuckling) – Awww…Mom..!!! It doesn’t suit you. Only bhai can fear with your fake anger.

Sujata pouted.. Aarav kiss her cheek and rushed towards his room to get his bag.
