The episode starts with all getting startled to hear the announcement from Pragya’s mouth. Aryan is completely dejected and tries his best to balance himself. On the other hand, Priyanka is extremely raged, however controls herself and hides her emotions in front of everyone. But, Pragya had been watching her closely till then, shifts her view from Abhi, walks close to Priyanka and asks, “Aren’t you happy Priyanka, that Rishi is getting settled soon?” Priyanka closes her eyes, takes a deep long breath and then fakes out a smile saying, “Of course, why not I am very glad that Rishi is moving on in his life after all that happened!” Abhi and Rhea heave a sigh of relief. Nevertheless, Pragya realises the LIE lying in Priyanka’s words. Abhi quickly comes in between Priyanka and Pragya and asks, “Fuggy, I know you are doing this to prove that myself and Rhea have done a mistake by forgiving Priyanka! But, you, yourself can see now that Priyanka has indeed changed and absolutely alright with Rishi’s marriage, so why waste your time trying to prove her guilty!” Pragya gets dismayed at that remark, while Priyanka smirks. Pragya continues with Abhi, “You know that I never go against the truth and that is why I feel that there is something strange……” Before she could finish. Abhi hugs Priyanka tightly saying, “Enough Fuggy! I agree whatever Priyanka tried to do with your niece and Rishi was VERY WRONG, but I genuinely feel that my Priyanka has changed. And if Shahana is like daughter, then Priyanka is also like my daughter, so……” he folds his hands “Don’t try to tarnish her image again and again in front of us, I believe her and assure you that she will not cause any hurdles in Rishi’s marriage!” Pragya is hurt and moved by Abhi’s words. She says, “Even after so many years, you haven’t changed at all! You are doing what you feel like as before without looking at WHAT IS JUST AND UNJUST! Anyways, let’s leave the indifferences between us now. You are partying your Nephew’s engagement today….” She glares angrily at Priyanka and says “And tomorrow I hope no one will create any hurdle in my niece’s engagement!” Abhi continues, “Stay reassured Fuggy, there will be no problems created by Priyanka tomorrow!” on hearing that, Pragya gets looking into Abhi’s eyes. They share an emotional eye lock. Then, Pragya swiftly turns around and makes her exit. Abhi keeps looking at her from behind as she is leaving. (Kumkum Bhagya dramatic tone aa-aaa-aaaa dramatic tone plays during this moment.) Prachi follows Pragya.
After all the events of the engagement party get over, Priyanka comes to her room and starts messing her room by throwing the things haywire. She says, “Rishi! Rishi! Rishi! How could you choose that Shahana instead of me? How could you? No, I can’t let this marriage happen, but how? Chucks has promised that I will not bring any hurdle in his marriage, then how can I stop his marriage?” she gets thinking for a moment and then something clicks in her head. She takes out her phone and dials someone’s number.
Next day morning, Sarita ji’s house
Sanju and Sunny are helping with the arrangements of Rishi-Shahana’s engagement. Sanju asks Sunny, “Bhai, When Priyanka called up yesterday, we promised her that we will help her to break Rishi’s engagement, but then you also called your Maasi and warned her about Priyanka’s plan! What is actually going on in your mind?” Sunny grins and says, “Sanju if we help Priyanka then how will my revenge against my little brother be complete?” Sanju looks on while Sunny continues, “Yesterday, that stupid girl. Chasmish saved him, but today nobody can save him!” Sanju muddled asks him, “Today? But Aryan is not here!” Just then Ranbir and Aryan reach there in Ranbir’s car. Sanju is astonished while Sunny reminisces with an evil smirk. Flashback, Sunny tells Prachi, “Prachi, I guess you should also call Ranbir and his friend here for help, as there are very less men in this family, Rishi anyways can’t be working for his own marriage, the rest who are left are only me, Sanju and Rishi’s father Shekhar Uncle, so wouldn’t it be good if Ranbir and Aryan join?” Prachi reflects for a moment and says, “You are right Sunil, I think I should call them also!” She takes her phone and informs Ranbir. Sunny smiles thinking his plan his working. Flashback ends. Sanju says, “Bhai, you are amazing! You have brought the prey right to the mouth of the lion!” Sunny looks on at Aryan. Ranbir after coming out of the car, is surprised to notice that Aryan is not coming out. He goes and opens his door and pulls him out demanding, “What is the matter with you, Aryan? From the time I asked to come along with me to help over with Rishi-Shahana’s engagement, you are acting clumsily! What’s wrong?” Just then, Sunny and Sanju come there with Sunny saying out loudly, “Nothing Ranbir, it’s just that Aryan himself is getting married and has be part of all these functions as a groom, so maybe he is sick of such functions, right Aryan?” Aryan looks sadly at Sunny, when Ranbir says, “Did anyone ask you?” All the three are stunned at that remark. Aryan tries to stop Ranbir but then he continues, “You are our office staff so act like that, don’t try to involve into our family matters!” Aryan and Sanju feel bad for Sunny, however the latter ignores Ranbir’s rough words by shaking his head with a frown. Aryan catches Ranbir and tells him, “Come Ranbir, we have come here to help, so let’s go and do that!” and he quickly takes Ranbir inside who is still staring at Sunny. Once they go in, Sanju asks Sunny, “Bhai, I don’t understand you give so much of pain to your own brother but then listen to any kind of loud remarks from that a*sh*le Ranbir!” Sunny tells him, “Leave it Sanju, Ranbir has nothing to do with my revenge, so he will never become a matter for me to bother!” Sanju continues, “So what have you planned for the next?” Ranbir says with a smirk, “Wait and see!”
Soon the engagement function starts. Both Aryan and Shahana are in a heartbroken state trying to avoid each other’s eyes. The elders ask Rishi-Shahana to exchange the rings. Rishi in all smiles quickly wears the ring onto Shahana’s finger. Everyone clap. When it is Shahana’s turn, she becomes hesitant and looks at Aryan. Aryan, having his eyes filled with tears, wistfully nods. She puts on the ring onto Rishi’s finger. Everyone clap. Sanju questions Sunny, “Bhai, don’t you think it’s a bit too much to make Aryan undergo the pain of losing Shahana right in front of his eyes?” Sunny replies with a pat on Sanju’s face, “My brother’s pain is my gain, Sanju!” Then he proceeds towards Rishi and asks him, “Rishi, did you ever propose Shahana till now?” Rishi confusingly shakes his head in denial and says, “I thought it was not necessary as both of us were alright with marriage which is why we are getting married!” Sunny shakes his head and says, “Come on Rishi, stop thinking like old folks, be romantic and PROPOSE HER ONCE before your marriage!” Rishi gives in. Then, he searches for Shahana, goes near her and asks her to come to the terrace. Shahana is amazed at that but agrees. After they head upstairs, Sunny signs Sanju to make Aryan go upstairs. Sanju nods distressfully. He goes to Aryan and informs him Shahana is calling him to the terrace. Aryan is surprised and slowly makes his move upstairs. Sunny smiles maliciously on seeing that.
Upstairs, Rishi is standing face to face with Shahana, trembling in fear. Shahana asks him the matter. Rishi closes his eyes, gathers his courage, catches Shahana’s hands and utters, “Shahana, I have always held this within me but now I think it’s time to reveal it to you!” Shahana gets anxious. Rishi opens his eyes and pronounces, “I love you Shahana!”, just at the moment, Aryan reaches the doorstep of the terrace. He gets depressed on hearing those words and visualizing the sight.
