Next morning.. Krishna woke up and suddenly remembered she fell asleep waiting for saiyyam.. She looked over to his bed and noticed he had already left..
Krishna : Krishna.. tumahara kuch nahi ho sakta…. Kis ne kaha tha sone ko.. arey.. kal raathtoh tumhe saiyyam ko apne dil ki baat bata ni thi.. poora plan kharab ho gaya… aur who kheer.. ( Krishna you are hopeless.. who told you to sleep.. you were supposed to tell saiyyam how you feel last night.. whole plan has flopped ..and the kheer )
Krishna suddenly remembered the kheer…
she looked for it and found it exactly the way she had left it.. untouched.. it had gone bad… Krishna felt extremely sad…
Krishna : usne kheer ek baar chaka tak nahin… main so gayi toh kya hua ..woh kheer toh kha sakta tha na.. kitne pyaar se maine kheer banaya tha…. ( he didn’t even take one bite of the kheer.. so what if I fell asleep he could have still eaten the kheer.. I made it with so much love.. )
Krishna got dressed and went downstairs for breakfast.. she was greeted by yuvraaj and suhani..
Suhani : ( smiling ) toh Krishna… kheer pasand aaya saiyyam ko? ( so Krishna did saiyyam like the kheer )
Krishna : woh aunty.. kheer.. ( umm aunty kheer )
Saiyyam : Bohot achi thi.. it was nice..
Saiyyam came from the garden area.. he had just come back from his morning jog..
Krishna thought to herself..
Krishna : saiyyam ne jhoot kyun kaha.. usne toh kheer chaka tak nahi… ( why did saiyyam lie.. he didn’t even taste the kheer )
All get busy having breakfast.. after breakfast saiyyam is getting ready in his room… Krishna comes in and takes the kheer plate and heads back downstairs… she stops seeing saiyyam.. she questioned him..
Krishna : saiyyam tumne sab se jhoot kyun kaha.. tumne toh kheer khayi bhi nahi aur… ( saiyyam why did you lie to everyone.. you didn’t even eat the kheer and you..)
Saiyyam : woh tum.. sabke samne embarrass ho jaati to bas isliye… aur kheer maine isliye nahi khayi kyunki mera man nahin tha.. ( oh you would have been embarrassed infront of everyone if I told the truth so.. and I didn’t the kheer because I didn’t feel like it.. )
Krishna was still annoyed with last night’s happenings… and whispered softly
Krishna : Kheer khane ka man nahi tha.. ya maine banaya isliye nahi khaya… ( you didn’t feel like eating or is it because I made it you didn’t eat.. )
Saiyyam heard her and angrily yelled Krishna…
He came and stood really close to her..
Saiyyam : mere har baat ka ghalat matlab nikaal ne ki zaroorat nahin hai… maine nahi kaha tha mere liye kheer banana ke liye… aur agar meri kheer na khane se tumhe itni problem hai.. toh do.. ( you don’t need to take the wrong meaning of everything I say.. I never told you to make me kheer…and if you have such a problem if I don’t eat this kheer.. then give it to me.. )
Saiyyam gulped down the whole bowl of kheer while Krishna tried to stop him..
Krishna : saiyyam kya kar rahe ho yeh kharab ho chukka hai.. ( saiyyam what are you doing this has gone bad.. )
He took out krishna’s hand and shoved the plate in it..
Saiyyam : lo… khatam krdi maine tumahi yeh stuid kheer….ab khush… ( there I finished your stuid kheer.. you happy now.. )
He left the room angrily.. krishna looked at the kheer bowl..
Krishna : mera bohot man tha ki tum kheer kao saiyyam… par aise nahin.. ( I really wamted you to have the kheer saiyyam..but not like this.. )
She wiped the tear that had come strolling down her cheek and went downstairs …
Later that evening..
All the ladies of the birla house were gathered in the hall discussing vrat savitri Pooja tomorrow..
Suhani : Sab suhaganon ko yeh vrat rakhni hai… Krishna beta tum humare bet eke liye yeh vrat rakho gi na?
( all married women have to fast..krishna you will fast for my don wont you )
Krishna smiled and nodded… suhani was happy..
Yuvani came out of her room and joined the ladies.. just then saiyyam had also entered the house from outside..
Yuvani : Thank god.. mujhe yeh vrat nahin rakh na palhega ( thank god I don’t have to fast )
Suhani : arey nahin yuvani… yeh vrat sirf suhaganein nahi rakhti tum bhi ralk sakti ho take tomhe acha pati miley ( oh no yuvani this fast isn’t only for married women.. you can also keep fast so you will get a good husband )
Yuvani : Oh please mumma mujhe abhi shaadi karne main koi interest nahin hai ( oh please mumma right now I have no interest in getting married.. )
Saiyyam was listening from a distance..
Saiyyam : suhaganon ka vrat… toh kya Krishna bhi mere liye…. Nahin nahin main yeh sab kyun soch raha hoon.. woh vrat rakhe ya na rakhe mujhe kya farak padta hai ( fast for married women… does this mean krishna will fast for me… no no… why am I thnking about all this.. why should I care if she fasts or not….)
Suddenly there was a loud noise….everyone looked over to Krishna… she had collapsed…
KRISHNA!! Everone screamed in unison…. Saiyyam rushed to her.. everyone else followed… Saiyyam tried to wake her up…. Yuvani sprinkled water on her…. She wasn’t waking up…
Saiyyam lifted her in his arms and took her to their room.. he was genuinely concerned.. suhani called the doctor…
Few minutes later…
Doctor was checking Krishna….she was still unconscious…. All the men in the house had also gathered around Krishna along with the women….
Saiyyam : doctor kya huwa hain meri wofe ko ( doctor what happened to my wife )
Doctor : mujhe toh laga ta ke aap aurto kan vrat kal hain…. ( I thought you women were fasting tomorrow )
Saiyyam : ( Yelling ) Haan who stupid vrat kal hai ar iss sab se Krishna ki halat ka kya lena dena!! ( yes that stupid fast is tomorrow but what does this have to do with Krishna’s condition!)
Yuvraaj patted him on the shoulder and calmed saiyyam down.
Yuvraaj : Saiyyam relax.. doctor aap please bataiye ki Krishna koh exactly huwa kya hain… ( doctor please tell us what exactly happened to Krishna… )
Doctor : dekhiye vrat ki baat maine isliye ki kyunki iss ne kal se kuch khaya nahin hai… iski waja se yeh kaafi kamzor hain.. isilye behosh ho gayi…. ( see I only mentioned the fast because she hasbt eaten anything since yesterday .. so she is quite weak… that’s why she fainted… )
Suhani : kya ? par aisa kaisa ho sakta hain aaj subhe hi toh hum sab ne milkar naashta kiya tha… ( what how is this possible today morning we all sat together and ate breakfast )
Yuvani : nahin mumma Krishna nai breakfast nahin kiya..woh sab ko serve kar rahi thi aur maine poovha vhi ki who naashta karle par usne mana kar diya… aur who kaafi upset bhi lag rahi thi… ( no mumma Krishna didn’t have breakfast… she was serving everyone.. I asked her to have breakfast but she refused.. she was looking rather upset…)
Suhani : ( worried ) he bhagwan humne toh dihaan hi nahi diya…par who kis baat se pareshaan ho sakti hai..
( oh god I didn’t even pay attention… but what could she be upset about.. )
Saiyyam recalled the morning’s kheer incident…. He looked at Krishna…
Precap : Saiyyam angrily forbids Krishna from fasting for him….Krishna replies MERA VRAT MERI MARZI…. ( MY FAST MY CHOICE.. )
