Sayyam slept soon being tired and weak, but Krishna didn’t. She occasionally wakes up and checks Sayyam, if he is fine. And much to her comfort, Sayam was sound asleep. She continues caressing his hair and slowly falls asleep, almost at the end of the night.
In the morning
Sayyam moves to the other side in sleep and due to his move, Krishna wakes up with a sudden jolt.
Krishna: Sayyam…
She almost screamed his name and got up. And next second she was relaxed to see Sayyam, still sleeping peacefully. She sighs deeply in relief and covers Sayyam properly with the comforter. Then she goes to washroom to freshen up.
Sayyam too wakes up after sometime. He sits upon the bed and holds his head as his head was aching badly. He tries to get up but can’t. In the meantime Krishna comes out of the washroom and saw Sayyam trying to get up. His body was trembling due to weakness and he was about to fall.
But how can that ever happen to him when his lovely caring wife is always there for him. Krishna rushes to him and holds him protectively to save him from falling. Sayyam too holds her to support himself. Krishna makes him sit on the bed. Sayyam looks at her.
Krishna: Sayyam…tum theek ho?
She checks him affectionately with concerned face.
Sayyam: Yup…I m fine.
He smiles to see Krishna’s concern for him in her eyes.
Krishna: Tumne mujhe bulaya kyun nahi?
Sayyam doesn’t reply, just smiles to himself. Krishna sees that.
Krishna: Why r u smiling?…
Sayyam looks at her and chuckles.
Sayyam: Kuch nahi.
Krishna pouts. Sayyam still smiles and gets up with Krishna’s help and goes to washroom. Krishna waits for him at the door. She doesn’t want to leave him alone for a second.
Sayyam comes out and sees Krishna, standing at the door. She helps him get ready and again dresses his wounds carefully. The little curve seems to get firmly stick to Sayyam’s lips as Krishna does everything for him. He feels better.
Krishna: But Sayyam…I m tensed…I mean…hum ghar mein sab ko kya batayenge…ki tumhe ye chot kaise lagi?
Sayyam too realized that.
Sayyam: I was also thinking the same…but I can’t tell them truth…specially to maa and Dadi…they’ll be very much tensed and afraid…and won’t let me work anymore on this project.
Kriyyam look at eachother tensed.
Krishna: But how can we lie to them?
Sayyam: There is no other way Krishna…I can’t lose this project anyhow.
Krishna was reluctant to lie to the family members but then thinks about Sayyam’s words and his will to work on the project. She agrees with him.
Krishna: But what will we tell them?
Sayyam: I’ll say that…I met an accident…I hit my car in a tree…and all this happened.
Krishna nodes in yes. Sayyam looks at her and understands that she is not fully agreed for this. He softly sayd
Sayyam: Krishna…I know…it’s not right…but for now…there is no way…but I promise…later I’ll tell them truth.
Krishna again nodes in an accepting manner, without looking at him. Sayyam can see that she was dull.
Sayyam: Krishna…u look so tired…Didn’t u sleep last night?
Krishna looks at him and smiles a bit to show that she is fine.
Krishna: Aisi koi baat nahi hai…I was just tensed…ok…now I’ll go.
She walked off the room, avoiding his question.
Krishna goes to kitchen to prepare breakfast. She was tensed about how will the family members react to see Sayyam’s state.
After sometime all gathers at dining area for breakfast. Finally, Sayyam also comes there and all get shocked to him. Sayyam looks at their tensed faces. Suhani runs to him.
Suhani: Sayyam…ye kya hua?…Tumhe ye chot kaise lagi?
Krishna comes out of the kitchen to hear Suhani’s voice.
Sayyam: Maa…wo…kal raat…I met an accident in road…
Sayyam stammers to lie to Suhani. All were stunned to know that. Sayyam looks at Krishna.
Suhani: What!!!…
Sayyam tries to pacify her.
Sayyam: Maa…don’t worry…it was nothing serious.
Yuvraaj: But Sayyam…when did u reach home?…and why didn’t u call anyone of us?
He turns to Krishna.
Yuvraaj: And Krishna…u knew everything…right?…then why didn’t u came to us?
Krishna gets shocked. She looks at Sayyam.
Sayyam: Papa…I asked her not to call anyone…see…really it’s nothing serious…I m absolutely fine.
All the elders scold Kriyyam affectionately for not telling them anything at night. Kriyyam look at eachother and apologize to them.
Later Kriyyam go to their room as the doctor came to check Sayyam and said he needed rest.
Sayyam: I m sorry Krishna…u too got scold bcz of me.
Krishna: No Sayyam…they didn’t scold us…they r our elders and they all love us…they expect us to get their help in need…but they get hurt when we don’t do that…and they hv all rights to show their affection towards us…no matter even if it’s by scolding us.
Sayyam’s jaw was wide open to hear her. He was mesmerized to see her way of explaining the reason of them being scolded by elders. He looks at her amazed.
Krishna: Ok…now u take rest.
Sayyam was snapped out from his thought as Krishna tucks the comforter on him and was leaving.
Sayyam: No Krishna…I hv no time to take rest…tomorrow is final presentation…and I hv to complete the file.
Krishna looks at him shocked as he brings his laptop and starts working. She goes to him and takes the laptop from him.
Krishna: No way Sayyam…how can u work in this state?
Sayyam: Krishna plz…why don’t u understand?
Krishna: It’s not me Sayyam…it’s u who don’t understand…u hv head injury…and the doctor asked u take rest.
Sayyam: But Krishna…
Krishna: I know that Sayyam…but ur health is more important to me.
Sayyam: Krishna plz…u know…now this project has turned into my dream project…I can’t lose it.
Krishna sits beside him.
Krishna: I know Sayyam…but if u work in this state…u’ll be more stressed.
Sayyam: Nothing will happen…I m alright.
Krishna thinks something and smiles.
Krishna: Ok…then…what if I help u?
Sayyam looks at her confused.
Sayyam: What?…But how can u help me?…I mean…u don’t know anything about my work.
Krishna: So what if I don’t know…u tell me what to do and I’ll do as u say…and then…I know to make power point presentation…so there is no problem.
Sayyam was once again amazed by her. He smiles and agrees at once. Krishna too smiles happily to get a way to save Sayyam from being stressed or tired.
Suhani comes to their room and hears that Krishna will help Sayyam. She becomes really happy and appreciates her.
Suhani leaves and Kriyyam start working together for the rest of the day. Sayyam occasionally stares lovingly at her concentrated face while working as per his instructions. He was so happy and it was clear in his face.
