Hi Friends .. After some serious writing for last 7 episodes. I have tried to make this one lighter
Tried to use more English as requested by some. Hope you like it
Leap:Dev and Sonakshi are married for a month now and are getting ready to go to Sona’s house for a dinner
Devakshi’s Room
Dev : Sona ! what do I wear ??
Wear your orange cotton kurta and pyjama.You will look nice ! Ma Baba will get to see the other side of Dev!!
Dev: This is my first formal meeting with your family after marriage. Don’t know what will I talk. I am feeling nervous!! more than when I asked for you from them!! (looking tensed)
Sona: ( laughs) Don’t worry, my family is simple , you just don’t need to do anything . They will make you comfortable
Dev..sighs ..ya I will try to be normal!!
Sona: Arey I have been staying with your family for a month now and you are so worried just for a dinner!
Dev: No , its not like that . Infact I am sorry that I am still not close to your family like you are to mine . Nikki is as crazy about you as me !!
and Ria and Ma adore you ( takes her hands lovingly into his and gives her a quick peck on her forehead)
Sona: |( Smiles )That’s ok .. you dint get the kind of time I got with your family before marriage and anyway you are a different person!!
You take time to open up ..so just cheer up.. this just might be your golden chance !! (her eyes wide with the excitement)
Dev laughs at her animated expression and gets ready!
Sona : Wears a beautiful cream and red Anarkali with pearl danglers. She puts a nice red bindi and is looking stunning!!
Dev sees Sona wearing her ear piece and comes close . I don’t want to go anywhere if you are going to look so beautiful!! You can look like this only for my eyes !!
Sona turns around shyly to land in Dev’s arms who was standing so close that she couldn’t move.
Sona: We are going to meet ma baba!! Usme bhi ache se tayyar na hoon kya ! They should also know how happy their daughter is !
and how beautiful she has become after becoming Mrs Dixit(smiles shyly)
Dev : takes her in his arms…Mrs Dixit you were always beautiful …and I love you !! Kisses her on her lips while she pulls away quickly.
Sona : Ab chale
Dev : Sighs .dont stop me once we are back!! abhi.chalo!!
At Sona’s house : Sona rings the bell and Elena opens the door
Elena: Hiiiii Sona, ( hugs her ) you are looking gorgeous!! And gives her a quick peck on her cheek.
She sees Dev and says, Hi Dev ..sorry Jiju..looking hot !! Dev blushes , Sona gives Elena a glare!!
Asha: Elena..let them come in atleast !!
Dev and Sona come in and touch dadi’s feet – she gives them aashirwad ( in Bengali)
Sona goes and hugs ma and baba while Dev says a silent Namaste.
Bejoy: Sona its so good to see you today . Tumhe dekhne ko aakhen taras gayi thi. Shaadi ke baad to tum humey bhool hi gayi.. ( artificial anger in his voice)
Asha: Arey Sona itne din baad aayi hai aur aap aate hi usko dantne lage..meri sona ko koi kuch nahi kahega (and hugs her lovingly)
Saurabh: aa gayi meri dushman!! Ek mahine se ma, for a change, mujhe pe bhi dhyana de rahi thi ..ab mera patta fir saaf ho gaya !!
Sona : gives a punch to her brother lovingly..dada ab to mujhe tang karna chod do..and yeh kya ..aap ne dieting bilkul chod di hai na !!
ma aap bilkul control nahi kar rahe na ..dada ka khana..theek keh rahe hain dada..mere jaane ke baad kuch zyada hi laad ho raha hai inka !! (Sona is upset)
Asha: Arey tu ghar main ghusi nahi ki daantne lagi..thoda to sabar kar!!
Bejoy: Kyun Asha woh kyun sabar kare. Who bilkul theek bol rahi hai
Saurabh : haan haan aap to hamesha hi Sona ka side lete ho!! Mujhe to waise bhi koi pyar nahi karta!!
Elena : pulling Dev into the center…hello everybody..can you all stop fighting .
bechare jiju is wondering ki yahan ho kya raha hai. Jiju hum sab hamesha aise hi jhagade rehte hain and aaj Sona ke aane se bahut din baat team complete hui hai!!
Dev : softly.. its ok ..you all can carry on.. I am enjoying as a spectator!
Elena : No way jiju ..humare ghar main koi bhi spectator nahi hota sabko bolne ka pura hak hai.. aur aap ko bhi apna haq cheenana parega !! (with action)
Dadi: haan Dev babu .is ghar main aise hi chalta hai..chup chap rahoge to sab pareshan karenge ..mere ghar main sab bahut shaitan hai !!
Dev : smiles and gives Sona a nervous sheepish look as if saying ..main kyan bolun..
Saurabh : acha dev babu chaliley aap se hi shuruaat karte hain ..to aap khush to hain na shaadi ke baad
Sona : Dada !! aap ko nahi lagta yeh question aapko mujhe poochna chahiye…aap mere bhai hain ya Dev ke!!
Saurabh : maine party badal lee hai..waise bhi teri team main bahut log hain ..ma baba Elena ..
Dadi : Main bhi Dev ki team main hoon!!
Sona : Dadi !! aap bhi ..
Asha: tum sab baetho main khana lagati hoon.. aur Sona tu bilkul comment nahi karegi khana dekh kar ..meri beti damad ghar aaye hain …
khabardar jo nutritionist ne mooh khola !!
Everybody laughs !!
Asha lays the food. They all enjoy a lavish dinner and laughter continues. Dev is shy but trying to get into conversation. Bejoy asks him about business.
Elena and Dadi tease him about Sona ..
Sona is busy talking to her mom in the kitchen.Dev’s eyes are searching for Sona.
Elena :.. aapko koi .ahem ahem..kuch chahiye jiju !! ( teasingly )
Dev : nahi ..haan ..thoda paani milega!!
Elena ; Sirf paani ..mujhe laga aap sona (emphaises) chandi ..aise kuch mangege..
Sona (walking in) : tu kyun Dev ko pareshan kar rahi hai!! Ja jake paani la..
Elena : arey yeh mere aur Jiju ke beech ki baat hai.. tujhe kyun problem hai !!
Waise Sona ..tu aaj raat ruk rahi hai na!
Sona : gives a quick glance to Dev ..Dev gives her a glare – saying NO
Sona: nahi .aisa to koi prog nahi hai..waise bhi kal subah hospital bhi jana hai..
Elena : Haan to main kaun sa keh rahi hoon ki hospital mat ja..ek mahine pehle tak to tu yahin se jati thi na!! Aaj raat ruk ja…dher saari baatein karenge ..aur subah yahin se tayyar ho ke nikal jana..
Asha: haan idea to achha hai!! Dev ..apki ma mind to nahi karengi na agar hum Sona ko aaj yehin rok lein!!
Dev was all upset.. Thinks in his mind “ Ma karen na Karen ..main bahut mind karoonga.. NO WAY !!”
Dev: Aunty..I mean ma ..subah subah main ghar se drop kar doonga yahan se Sona hospital kaise jayegi ( he bit his own tongue : what a lame excuse!!!)
Asha : arey ..wah isse to ek aur badhiya idea aaya.. to beta aisa karo ..subah ka nashta aap yahin humare saath kar lena.. to Sona ko pick up bhi kar lena..aur aap logon ka routine bhi upset nahi hoga!! Theek hai!!
Dev wants to say NO but is unable to find any excuse. Sona is looking at him amusingly!!
Elena: to final Sona is staying back !!( and jumps around like a monkey )
Dev is miserable!
After dinner they all sit and start chatting again.. Dev sends a message to Sona.. “u cant do this to me” I am not going back without you. Kya karoonga main ghar ja ke …ghar katega mujhe tumahare bina,
Sona reads the message and smiles.. ek raat ki baat hai..subah to aap mujhe lene aayenge hi!!
Dev..writes : ek raaaat..are you kidding ..its 8 hrs.. and..I will be restless Sona if you are not around..no you are not staying back!!
Sona : messages -ok ,then tell everybody that you don’t want to leave me here.
Dev : with a sad face messages – tum meri majboori ka fayda utha rahi ho na !!
Elena: Jiju..kabhi to phone chode diya kijiye.. acha yeh batayein …aap Sona ko kahan le jaane wale hain. Ab to passport bhi ready ho gaya hai
( background: Sona doesn’t have a pp and so Dev applied for one after their marriage )
Dev: filhal to ghar le jana chahata hoon ( murmurs to himself) ..loud>> abhi kuch soocha nahi..waise it will be Sona’s choice ..
wherever she wants to go!
Elena: Sona chal nikal apni list ka tokra…pata hai jiju ..yeh shaadi se pehle most romantic destinations search karti thi internet pe ..
Dev ( interested ) acha : mujhe kabhi nahi bataya issne
Sona : gives a glare to Elena ::elena ..tu maar khayegi..
Dadi..bachon tum log baatein karo …main chalti hoon..ab rest karoongi..kafi der ho gayi hai ( its 10:30 pm)
Dev gets up: haan dadi ..aap rest kariye.. hum bhi chalet hain .
Bejoy: arey beta aap betho ..hum buddhe logon ko jaane do..
Asha : main buddhi nahi ho par haan ..main bhi thoda rest karoongi..ab aap log sab baatein karo..
kuch chaihey to mujhe aawaz de dina ..theek hai Elena
Elena : Maashi aap sab rest karo..subah se Sona ke aane khi khushi main kitchen main hi ghussi hain..main dekh loongi sab kuch
Dadi Asha and Bejoy leave ..
Elena : Jiju..ab sab gaye..main batati hoon ..Sona ke secret desires..
Dev is smiling and very interested.. Haan Elena batao..
Saurabh walks in.. Dev babu aap in ladkiyon ki baatein sunege to raat kahatam ho jayegi baatein nahi!!
Arey sab kahan gaye..
Elena : Who Dadi mashi aur mausa were tired so they have gone to their rooms.
Saurabh : ok.. to Elena ..becahre Dev babu bhi tired honge.. aaj to office bhi tha.. unko bhi chod do !!
Elena: Maine kahan parkda hai..Sona ko bolo!! (winks at Sona)
Dev: haan seriously mujhe chalna chahiye:
Saurabh: arey main to Mazak kar raha tha…nahi aap betho na
Dev: Nahi …thoda kaam bhi hai ..to chalo nikalte hain..Sona chalo!
Elena: Arey Sona kahin nahi ja rahi.. meri uski deal hai.. aaj raat koi nahi soyega …hum sirf baatein karenge..kyon sona!
Sona gives a half hearted smile
Dev is thinking..you are right Elena.. aaj raat koi bhi nahi so payega!! I will miss my Sona!
Dev: theek hai to main nikalta hoon!
Elena : ok jiju ..chalilye hum sab aapko neeche tak chod aate hain..
Dev : no its ok .Sona chod aayegi mujhe . app log betho
Elena : haan to yeh bolo na ki aap ko Sona ke saath akele time spend karna hai..ek raat ke liye kya rok liya aap to bechain ho gaye!!
Dev: (with an embarrassed look as if chori pakri gayi) ..arey aise nahi hai.. Sona tum bhi rehne do ..main chala jaonga..
(but wanting dearly for her to come along atleast to drop him)
Sona: Elena main Dev ko chod ke jaldi se aati hoon..tab tak tu yeh sab clear kar le.phir hum dher saari baatein karenge
Elena: teasingly..aisi koi jaldi nahi hai..tu aram se see off kar ke aa jiju ko..aaj to tu yehin ruk rahi hai na ( with mischevious eyes)
Dev is upset! He leaves and Sona follows.
Sona and Dev reach close to the car:
Dev pulls Sona close and holds her tightly !! “ I am feeling so weird leaving you here . aise lag raha hai jaise banwas ke liye ja rahoon
Sona: (giggles)..aap over react kar rahe hain..ghar jaiye ..kapde badaliye..ek aachi si book pariye and sone se pehle mujhe ek baar call kijiye..ok and gives a peck on his cheek.
Dev holds her right there and turns her face to face him and gives a quick kiss on her lips
And then pulls back and sits in the car and reverses it !!
Bye!! Says quickly and leaves
Sona is left confused and smiling ! Sighs and goes upstairs.
Elena : Sona Dev kitne bechain lag rahe they !! He is crazy for you!! How cute!!
Sona: Elena ..pls..actually unko aise see off karke mujhe bhi bahut ajeeb lag raha hai..unka sad face yaad aa raha hai
Elena: to tujhe bhi rukne ka mann nahi tha kya?
Sona: Aisa nahi hai ( little confused as she is not sure) par Dev ka mann nahi tha is liye mujhe kharab lag raha hai
Elena: arey mujhe pata hota aisa hai to main itna insist nahi karti..Dev bhi mujhe villain samajh rahe honge
Sona : sighs and amused : woh to sure hain !!
Elena: enough. Let me call Dev . Woh apni Sona ko ghar le jayen.. ab yeh Sona sirf dev ki hai ..Elena ka uss par koi hak nahi..(with actions)
Sona : dramebaaz… tu kya naraz ho gayi..main to Mazak kar rahi thi!
Elena : Arey nahi ..i understand ..aise karte hain is Thursday ko too chutti le ke pura din yahan aaja..we can spend some good time.
Us samay to Dev bhi ghar pen ahi hote . You can leave before he comes back (giggles) nahi to mahashay mujhe peetne yahan tak aajayenge !!
Chal now let me call Dev
Hello Jiju!! Aap Sona ko lene aa jao..jab se aap gaye ho roye ja rahi hai ..Dev chahiye ..Dev chahiye
Mujh se sambhal hi nahi rahi!!
Dev : what !!( worried) kya hua .. Sab theek hai na..
Elena : laughing : sab kahan theek hai.. wahan aap itne bhari mann se Sona ko yahan chod keg aye ho aur idhar yeh Dev dasi bani bethi hai ..dev is sad ..dev is sad!! ..
mujhe pati patni ke beech villain banana ka koi shauk nahi!! Maine Sona ke saath ek alternate plan bana liya hai ..aap abhi Sona ko le jao
Sona: in the background: aur ma subah poochegi ki Sona kahan hain to ??
Elena : talking on the phone and to Sona : that all you don’t worry ..I will tell them ..
as usual Sona aur Dev midnight main bhag gaye !! and ab to allowed bhi hain na !!
Dev laughs ( more because of happiness than on the joke) while Sona just smiles.
Precap : ?? Some more days in Married Devakshi’s life. (still working on this..there will be a delay on this post)
