Kruttika Desai Clarifies Pandya Store’s Future Amidst Rumors: Show’s Evolution After Leap Takes Time to Connect with Viewers
Rumors have been circulating about the fate of Pandya Store, suggesting that it might wrap up within a month if it fails to achieve the desired viewership. However, Kruttika Desai, the actress who portrays the head of the family in the series, has come forward to dispel these speculations.
Kruttika talked about it in a recent interview and explained, “When the show underwent a generational leap, it introduced numerous new characters, essentially making it an entirely new show with fresh faces. It’s natural for a show to require some time to strike the right balance after such a leap. I haven’t heard any official news regarding the show’s cancellation or it being in jeopardy. While viewership is crucial, I believe that in a few more weeks, the show will settle and reconnect with its audience, much like it did before the leap.”
Addressing concerns about her character’s prominence diminishing over time, she confidently stated, “No, some may assume that with Natasha’s (Priyanshi Yadav) marriage and the spotlight shifting to the Makwana family, my role might diminish, and the focus will no longer be on the Pandya family. However, that’s not the case. The storyline will continue to revolve equally around both the Makwanas and the Pandyas. In fact, my role is set to become even more engaging. I’m thoroughly enjoying my character’s development since the leap.”
Approximately two months ago, Pandya Store underwent a generational shift, bringing in actors Rohit Chandel, Priyanshi Yadav, Ankur Nayyar, and Ananya Khare to assume significant roles in the TV series.
