In the morning Dev is worried in the office, Vicky asks if everything is alright, he sits down sensing and offers Dev to share anything with them, Dev mentions he was thinking about Aayush, standing explains they have brought him to their house but can they become a part of his life, his relation with Rohit was very strong as he was the father for eight years would he ever accept him as his father, Vijay explains Dev is loved by everyone and the children love him a lot, Gollu is more close to him then his real father, Vijay advises him to keep true to the intention with which he brought Aayush, he asks if everything is fine between him and Sonakshi, Dev recalls when he and Sonakshi had a disagreement about the way she is treating Aayush, Vicky tries to question him explaining he saw them,
Aayush is thinking when during the pooja the Pandit jee asked about the parents, Ishwari told him that his parents are Dev and Sonakshi, Ishwari asks about him to hold the cup while she would bring something to put in it, Soha asks about some pista from Dadi then seeing Aayush holding her cup immediately asks him to put it back, Aayush accidentally drops the cup and it breaks, Soha starts crying and immediately scolds Aayush saying that he did it on purpose, Ishwari tries to explain this was not the case, Sonakshi comes asking what has happened and then tries to console Soha saying that she doesnot want them to cry because of each other, she then takes Soha inside, Ishwari asks Aayush to not be worried because it is just a cup.
Sonakshi is with Soha asking her to not be worried because they will buy the cups for tomorrow whichever she likes, she then sends Soha to her room while Ishwari is standing the back.
Sukhi is on the mobile with Mr Khukeraj asking why is he not doing the work when he has taken the money, Dev asks Sukhi what is the report, he replies there are a total of forty eight families who are illegally settled and twenty one of them have agreed but the rest are not listening which is why he is worried, Dev asks does he have to tell him how to do, he should just get it done, Sukhi mentions it would surely happen.
Ishwari comes asking if Sonakshi doesnot think she has scolded the wrong child and instead should have made Soha realize, Sonakshi asks why did she give her cup to Aayush knowing it is her favourite one, Ishwari replies it always starts from small things, she would also have to share her parents with him, she should have consoled him while he was tensed, she was just comforting Soha but should have also taken care of Aayush saying she would bring more cups for him, she doesnot know why Sonakshi doesnot melt seeing the face of Aayush, Dev told that Sonakshi was trying to form a relation but how can it not happen at once when a mother keeps the child in her stomach for nine months, she cannot create differences amongst the children and should love her children, she cannot differentiate them all, Sonakshi asks is she saying this when she doesnot understand the feelings which she is going through, Sonakshi asks Ishwari to speak the truth asking if she has never differentiated between Dev and her daughters, Ishwari asks where is she taking the conversation, Sonakshi replies she is just trying to make her understand, Ishwari replies that she was the mother of Dev but Sonakshi might not even be the mother of Soha.
Sonakshi is sleeping when she has the bad dream that Ishwari is trying to take Soha and send her with Mr Verma, she wake up and Dev asks what happened as if she saw the bad dream, she replies she saw the maa is sending Soha away, they all cannot understand that Aayush is getting everything in this house but Soha is losing everything, Dev asks Sonakshi to not be so worried and consider that she has to fill the needs of Aayush because he needs her love, Sonakshi replies she is doing all she can do because Aayush is really scared as he has been told to stand with strangers and call them his parents, this all need time which she is trying to do, Dev says she is not doing anything and is always worried about Soha, she is not even trying, Sonakshi asks what have they done to get close to him, Dev says they are at least trying to form a relation which she is not even trying, Sonakshi replies that Aayush had a father so might even accept him but he never had a mother, she might not even eb able to fill the gap, Dev asks her to stop, she explains he is not understanding her, he replies like she has understood him, they both look into each other’s eyes and are really crying wondering what has happened.
In the morning Dev calls Sonakshi at the bathroom so asks her to come out as he is getting late, she texts him asking him to not yell, he however says that he is getting late, she texts him to push it harder as he will find out that the bathroom is empty, he opens it and turning is shocked to see her sitting there, he asks when did she wake up, Sonakshi replies those who sleep wake up.
In the house Sonakshi’s father prepares breakfast for himself, sitting at the table he exclaims to his wife that even after preparing everything, he still misses his wife, Sonakshi comes to him, he asks her to eat but she mentions he is not feeling right and was not even able to sleep, she is trying to do everything but Dev feels he is only doing it all, her father replies he doesn’t even like the name of her in laws, he thought that Dev has changed but one is always irresponsible, she stands mentioning their was once a way when he would understand everything even when she did not said anything but now she feels when she says something it reaches his mind but not his heart, she doesnot know what to do, her father comes asking why is she worried because she doesnot have to be worried as the problem is with Dev who cannot understand his wife. Her father thinks he should meet Aayush because he will only get close if they keep him as a family, he thinks she should take care of her child while he would do what is right for his daughter.
Precap: Dev sitting with Sonakshi is making her eat, he asks how he can help her, she replies what he is doing now is enough, Dev takes the blessings of Sonakshi’s father, he blesses that Dev get some sense, Ishwari asks what sort of blessing has he given, Sonakshi’s father replies that now by the grace of god they don’t have any financial problem so he blessed that they get what is missing.
