The elder stands up saying they should cover the face of the Bride as to how are he rituals happening like this, Shetal quickly agrees to cover the face, Nandini says that Vinet would not be able to see the face so how would he know whom he is marrying, the elder says that the rituals should be followed and it is nothing to joke about, it is their tradition that the bride should cover their face otherwise what is the need for the ritual of showing her face. Nandini says that the bride is not a product which they would see after going back to their house, Vinet agrees with Nandini however the elder replies even he is agreeing with her. Nandini says if the groom can show his face then why not the bride, saying what is the reason behind the tradition? Naren remembers when Nandini confronted
Nandini says the elder was also a bride who would have suffered it all, as she would have felt suffocated and not been able to walk. The father of Vinet says that when two thoughts collide then they should forget about the traditions and only think about what is right, he asks Meena to lift the veil so she goes to lift the veil of Visakha who is sweating seeing this the elder gets angry and walks out of the wedding, the father of Vinet follows her while Nandini also goes after them. The elder angrily sits on the chair saying that she has forgiven the mistakes of the children and she is not even wrong today, Nandini says her uncle and aunt have not raised her like this and that she disrespects anyone but whenever she sees anything wrong happening in front of her, then questions tend to come out of her mouth, she says she is not questioning their traditions and rights but is against those that are not suitable with the present times and she also wants them to no follow these things, she says the elder saw how Visakha was when they lifted the veil, even the elder would have been a bride so knows how they feel suffocated in the veil and if she desires that her soon to be daughter in law suffers the same pain. Nandini sits in front of the elder explaining that she is sitting here then who would bless her best friend, and she should be angry with her if she says it Nandini rests her head on the lap of the elder who questions why was Nandini not present in her wedding as she had to wear such a big veil in it, and can never see her face. Nandini says it is time for technology and explains she will put her face on the photos hearing which the elder gets excited, Nandini asks if they can go so the elder agrees to go and watch the rituals of Vinet, Naren is just left staring at Nandini who leaves.
Vinet and Visakha once again perform the rituals that everyone enjoys a lot, Nandini and Naren both are throwing the petals on them as they perform the circles, and Ishwar and Manri are both smiling, Naren says that Nandini is looking very beautiful hearing which she gets a bit nervous.
Vinet and Visakha come out to leave when the shoes of the groom are missing, Naren says that the shoes belong to him and not the groom, Nandini mentions they would even take money from him, he says she can take his life so Nandini replies that she would take it for free, the girls keep demanding money when Vinet asks Naren to stop and then takes out a lot of cash for Nandini but she just takes one note, Shetal asks what is Nandini doing when she replies this is also just a ritual and it is up to them to not let it become a burden, Nandini taking the shoes tries to put them down but is stopped by Naren who takes the shoes from her hand, Manri signals Ishwar about what is going on between them both, Nandini asks if they can leave now.
Visakha hugs Shetal who is crying, then she even hugs her father before walking out. Vinet kneels to take the blessing of Naren but he stops him saying he is not that old, Vinet says if Naren was not present then they would not get the blessings of the elders, Naren blesses them both for their life ahead but they get shocked hearing the father of Vinet screaming that had he told them earlier then this would not have happened. Hitesh asks what happened to Ashok who says that Visakha and Vinet decided to get the blessings from the Mandir but at the last moment the driver refused, Naren assures he would take them when Visakha asks if Manri and Ishwar do not object then can they even take Nandini so they both agree, Nandini opens the front passenger door before sitting down, Ashok asks Vinet to ask for money if he needs it, while Meena asks him to take care of Visakha while Ishwar also asks Nandini to not forget bringing the Parshad, the entire family is waving as Visakha and Vinet leave.
Nandini asks Naren what if the pooja of Visakha and Vinet ends, Naren replies they will call them so she should not worry, Nandini replies she will always remember this time, Naren says he will remember her, along with her ideas and thinking, and the courage as she is setting an example. Nandini replies she never does it with planning but cannot tolerate the different standards in their society so cannot think why no one raises their questions. Naren says that those who ask questions should also have an answer, she replies she always has an answer when he asks when will she marry saying she said that she can answer any question.
Mr HemRaj says they cannot force Mr Sujhan to wait for so long as he has already sent him the invitation, Chanchal asks why did he not tell her and he replies he is telling her now so she should call Naren as who knows what sort of work is left in Upleta. Chanchal goes to call him.
Nandini says it is more important to know of the decision of his family members, Naren is shocked asking if it is like this mentioning he will immediately ask his mother to talk with his father, he gets a call from his mother seeing which he says his relation with his mother is just like the mobile network. Naren mentions she would live for a hundred years when she asks if the daughter-in-law would serve her, she asks why it take him so long so Naren replies he even has a surprise for him. Chanchal mentions she even wants to tell him something but he should first tell her, Naren replies that the surprise is not told but given, he signals Nandini to come and talk with his mother but she refuses and turning back is a bit nervous. Naren says he will give her the surprise once he returns and she should also make her surprise ready so they would see whose surprise is more interesting, he says he would reach out tonight.
Naren says that this is her mother Chanchal Ratansi, Nandini says she felt very nice seeing his love with his mother and then asks if he calls his father Bapu jee, as they live in modern times but Naren says the feeling he gets while calling him as Bapu jee cannot be in pops and daddy. Nandini replies even though she likes it but these two words are not in his destiny, Naren asks what is she talking about as after their marriage not only their families but their fates would also be joined and after marriage, his parents would also become her parents and he said he will ask his mother to talk with his father. Nandini asks Naren if he asks his mother to talk with his father, and if the relation is not the same with his father asking if he does not play with his father. Naren keeps thinking about his childhood when his father would beat him but his mother kept protecting him, however, his father is very strict and he would even lock him in the store if he did not listen to the orders of his father. His father would even warn his mother to not open the door threatening to oust her out of this house, so he would keep requesting them to open the door saying he is very scared. His mother also could not open the door therefore she would always sit outside the store room crying, his mother would just see him even when the mouse would come on him but his father would stop her from opening the door, she would keep crying and stay awake while his father would sleep, he would get nightmares while his mother would always calm him down saying he should never refuse his father. Nandini asks Naren what happened and why he started crying, and she asks if he is fine.
Precap: Naren asks Ishwar why Nandini gets angry when someone talks about dowry, Ishwar informs that her mother committed suicide due to dowry, Naren assures that the sacrifice of her mother would not go to waste. Mr HemRaj is telling the family about the proposal for Naren, saying it is fixed as the family is very wealthy however Naren is with Nandini assuring they will get married without any dowry.
