Actor Shabbir Ahluwalia has been an integral part of the popular show Kumkum Bhagya for the last 8 years. The show also featured actress Sriti Jha.
Now, after eight long years, Shabbir is all set to be a part of another show. Shabbir will be essaying the lead in producer Yash Patnaik’s upcoming show. The actor has already commenced shooting for the same.
The show is expected to be a love story set in Punjab. The casting for the female lead is still in progress. According to a source the makers are looking for a fresh face for the role.
While it is certain that Shabbir will essay the male lead in Yash Patnaik’s upcoming show, there is no update as to whether or not he will continue with Kumkum Bhagya or not.
