Bi je says they have to tell the truth and not lie so what is she doing, Shanaya replies the truth s that she is thinking about committing suicide, Bi jee gets stunned hearing it and then even expresses it, Shanaya says how would they be bothered by it when no one loves her and so she has thought of a simple way to die which will make everyone happy, she was thinking about ways to die and then felt she must hang herself but could not find any stool here, then she saw the window so thought about jumping but felt it will just break her leg after which she is going to look very bad then she thought about eating poison but where is she going to find it in the Luthra Mansion. Shanaya asks her Dadi if she knows what she thought, she looks at the knife placed with the fruits then says she has found the solution, she places the knife at her wrist thinking it is the best solution and asks her Grandmother to see she will take her life but then Bi jee says she did not know that someone like this lives in Shanaya when she would always remain happy. Shanaya replies it is wrong and why should she leave it when this is her life, and does she not even have he right over her own life and she can take her own life with her desire. Bi je informs Shanaya there are times when they feel weak, it happen when they lose someone their own, Shanaya says that it is very good and if she dies then how would she regret it, Shanaya starts to smile while Bi jee is forced to think and says she did not understand it, Shanaya replies even then Bi jee has come to stop her and she says that if she has arrived then would not let her die, Bi jee says she does not know why Shanaya is thinking about all this and why does she have to take her own life, when her Bi jee is present and she is going to support her.

Shanaya says why would she tell her when Bi jee keeps walking around and then Bi jee asks if she is making fun of her old age, Shanaya replies she is making fun of her young age which is why she will kill herself in front of Bi jee who asks why is Shanaya not telling her the reason she is doing this, Shanaya replies if she tells Bi jee then she is going to give her a lecture so why should she tell her, Bi jee says Shanaya should leave what is right or wrong and must even leave this knife, Shanaya points the knife at Bi jee calling her an old women hearing which Bi jee is stunned, Shanaya asks if she did not hear it, and she threatens to kill herself right now if Bi jee tries to pull the knife. Bi jee says that she does not know why Shanaya is behaving like this when she was not like this before, Shanaya replies even her life was not like this and what would Bi jee know of her love, as Bi jee cannot help her get her love when Bi jee says she loves Shanaya a lot hearing which Shanaya says she does not want her love, Bi jee questions then what does she desire, Shanaya replies death, murder and suicide as her life is without any reason and a waste so she feels like dying that her miserable life ends. Shanaya asks if Bi jee is able to understand it, Bi jee questions if she has lost her mind and why does she want to die, Shanaya replies no one loves her, Bi jee says that everyone loves Shanaya including her but Shanaya warns her Dadi to stop lying.

Bi jee asks what does Shanaya desire and what is the truth, Shanaya stands close to Bi jee who says it is not easy to kill or die and even if Shanaya is saved then would be very tensed after it all happens, so requests Shanaya to leave the knife. Shanaya pulling away says no lone loves her, Bi jee says that she loves with her stomach then Shanaya asks what about it, Bi jee says that when Shanaya was about to be born then she was always by the side of her mother and so loves her from that moment, Bi jee asks why is Shanaya looking like this when every grandmother desires to have a grandson, she was also sure about it as they already had grand daughter named Palki, then she thought that they should even have a Grandson with a Grand daughter, Bi jee says that Shanaya is looking at her as if she thought of something wrong when it is the desire of everyone and they needed a brother for Palki. Bi jee says she meant that a sister needs a brother to be her protector, who can fight and take care of them, while even the brother of Mohit was also born. Bi jee asks where was she then Shanaya informs about Shobit. Bi jee says if she tells the truth then she wanted a grandson who could be the support of their old age.

Shanaya asks if girls cannot be the support when Bi jee says that girls also need a support as they are very weak and so need the support. Shanaya says Bi jee is of old times when in modern time the girls and boys are the same, Bi jee says it is just a lecture and she asks which girl can keep her parents safe in the house of her in laws and no matter how hard a girl tries but it is not possible and the girl cannot make her parents live with them in her in laws house, while she comes as a guest to her parents house while a son lives with them and even if he goes away but still takes care of the family no matter if he desires or not, Shanaya says Bi jee is wrong as there are a lot of boys who sent their parents to the old age home, Bi jee agrees saying that then they are also not able to live peacefully but sons come running, Shanaya replies Bi jee is wrong as daughters come running first, Bi jee replies it is the work of evil daughters in law which cause the sons to go out of their way, while even some daughters are like this. Shanaya replies that Bi jee should not talk like this as everyone is praising daughters but Bi jee is just telling the story about sons, Shanaya asks why is Bi jee pulling the name of everyone due to some people. Bi jee says that ninety five percent of sons are good and take care of their parents just like they were taken care off during the childhood and are always prepared to help everyone in the family. Bi jee asks what wrong did she do by desiring to have a grandson. Bi jee asks why is Shanaya looking at her when she did not say anything wrong, Shanaya replies that Bi jee said the thing by mentioning she desired a son, Bi jee sits with Shanaya on the bed asking if Shanaya would be able to keep them in this house after marrying Shaurya, when it is the tradition and ritual of the world which neither of them can change, Shanaya replies they can change everything but Bi jee is like those people who desire to live in the past and keep doing the same things, but a lot has changed in their life and Bi jee is very old. Bi jee asks Shanaya to understand that if her mother had gotten a son instead of Shanaya and he would have been married to Kavya then they would have gotten a daughter in law so they would have loved each other, while with daughters they have to get them married and send to the family of someone else, while they tend to give their son in law gifts in order to make sure they stay happy so Shanaya should not talk like this to her, and this is why Shanaya should not say there is no difference between men and women when it is not the truth and in reality both the genders are not at the same level, Shanaya replies she is not interested in the boring lecture of Dadi but just knows one thing that girls are better then the boys in every way, Shanaya is furious.
