Mahesh feels frightened from the snake, he tries to get away running to the corner, Mahesh rushes to the door and runs away, the snake catcher also tries to catch the snake but is not able to do it, everyone is enjoying the party when they hear the cries of Mahesh, they all get worried wondering what has happened, Mahesh comes running to the party and even causes the vase to fall, he keeps on yelling there is a snake in his room, Sherlin with a smile thinks their plan has succeeded., karan and Sameer rush to him assuring there is no snake, Prithvi coming in the front calls Mahesh assuring there is no snake and it is just the thought of his mind, Prithvi assures to them all there is no snake and it is just the mental thought of Mahesh Luthra, he is not mentally fit, Karan says he is talking rubbish
The guests start talking, saying Mahesh Luthra was once a big name in the business circle, he was really smart and intelligent but what hs happened to him now, the reporters mention this is a breaking news which the Luthra’s have kept hidden from them all, they explain it would remain a secret because if the truth came out then it will ruin their business reputation.
Prithvi acts as if he is sorry thinking he revealed such a big secret of their family, everyone is shocked at what he is saying, prithvi exclaims they all know the truth because of him and now Mr Nanaware and MLA would not invest in their business, Prithvi assures them both that he cares for his family a lot but they must not invest in the company because if the world finds out that the face of Luthra industries is a mental patient so he requests them to not invest in that company as when the world finds out the shares of the company will come crashing down.
Prithvi starts walking towards Mahesh who starts getting tensed, he assures there is not a snake but Mahesh doesnot calm down, Preeta seeing this pushes Prithvi away saying he should just get away, Prithvi tries to attack Preeta, but Karan stops him.
Preeta going to Mahesh asks him to hold her hand as he is not the only one who saw the snake, she also saw it and everyone would get scared, she says he always says they must look at the evil in the eye and face, he also said he would always accompany her and stand with her at the difficult times, she explains she thought of all these things when she saw the snake, just like this his entire family is standing with him and if he holds her hand then the snake would itself go away, she asks him to hold his hand. Mahesh starts reaching his hand towards Preeta, Prithvi thinks this is the last time he can create the horror of the snake, he at once yells there is snake hearing which Mahesh gets tensed, Preeta suddenly says that it went away so explains to everyone that if such a strong man can get scared of the snake so Mahesh papa is ill and would surely be scared, she mentions that he held her hand because of which there is nothing to worry about, she asks everyone to make him sit on the chair, they help Mahesh sit on the chair when he seeing Preeta starts crying and even blesses her, seeing this Rakhi start smiling and even Dadi along with the entire Luthra family is glad to see his condition. Preeta asks them all to not be so scared as Mahesh just is ill and saw a snake which is why he acted in such a manner, Mahesh in a low voice explains that he is tired, they all take him from the party to his room.
Preeta turning to the guests assures that everything is fine and even the health of Mahesh papa is getting better, Mr Nanaware looks to MLA who also give a go ahead when Mr Nanaware asks Preeta to fulfil this project as a dream and she would receive the cheque tomorrow, Preeta mentions today is a really important day and no one would leave this party without taking the sweet box, she appreciates them all informing tomorrow is the Lordhi function at their house so they all are cordially invited to also be a part of their celebration, Kritika sees how Prithvi is angry so tries to go near him but he leaves in anger, Preeta appreciates everyone for coming and even thanks Mr Nanaware, karan is just looking at Preeta.
Rakhi along with Karina and Dadi take Mahesh to his room, he very calmly enters the room and is also a little tensed, he stands in front of the bed when Dadi goes behind him, he lies down on the bed getting scared when Rakhi assures there is nothing to be worried about since she is his mother, Sameer sits beside Mahesh mentioning that Preeta send him to go and request Mahesh papa to get some rest, Mahesh taking the name of Preeta starts recalling the time when he informed her he would have fought with Bhagwan if he was able to in order to ask why did he not give him a daughter like her, Mahesh after a while taking the quilt explains he needs to rest.
Sameer is not able to bear it so goes to the door crying, Dadi comes to hug him assuring there is nothing to be worried about and everything will be fine, Sameer prays it should get really soon as he cannot see his family like this anymore, Dadi assures it will get fine really soon. Rakhi explains that she is glad Mahesh allowed them all to come near him even if it was for a while, Karina informs today is the best day of her life, Rakhi says she must not forget this day has come to their life because of Preeta, if the media accepted what Prithvi was saying as it would have ruined everything, he Infront of the media said that Mahesh is a mental patient, Preeta came at the last moment and prevented the honour of Mahesh from being ruined, she even asks Dadi to see how she was right since Preeta has always been there for the Luthra family, she might have done something good in her past life because of which she got Preeta as her daughter in law. Rakhi exclaims Preeta did wat they were never able to do by themselves, she is really grateful for Preeta and wants to thank her with her heart, Sameer requests Rakhi to not cry, she replies these are the tears of joy and she is sure Mahesh would get well really soon.
Preeta walks into her room, she recalls the incident when Mahesh papa was sitting in the floor exclaiming there is a snake and even how he blessed her, she starts thinking when he promised her that no one in the Luthra house would say anything to her, she prays that he get well really soon since she cannot see him like this, karan reaching the door knocks on it, Preeta quickly wipes of her tears, she asks since when got so mannerly that he came after knocking, Karan replies he cam in a really good mood but she has not changed and ruined it all, karan questions why is she trying to show what she is not, she is a nice person so why is she pretending to be wrong, Preeta replies she is just like this when karan disagrees she is not like this at all. He says thanks, Preeta questions what is it for, karan informs he is saying this because she held the hand of his father, since he doesnot even hold the hand of his mother but today held her hand, he thanks her for showing she is his daughter as he always says this, she also proved it today that she is his daughter.
