Kushagre Dua talks about his role in Udaariyaan; says, “I am excited to play a positive character”
Kushagre Dua who recently joined the cast of Udaariyaan talked about his character during a recent interview with ETimes TV and also opened up about his previous stint with Yeh Hai Chahatein, shifting to Chandigarh and more.
Talking about his character in the show Kushagre shared, “After a while, I am playing a positive character and I am quite excited about it. The character’s name is Sartaj and is paired with Nehmat (Twinkle Arora) in the show. As much as I know about my role, Sartaj doesn’t believe in love anymore and keeps his distance from women. He had a brutal heartbreak after which he doesn’t wish to get back to those feelings; however, Nehmat will be the one to change his perception.”
When asked about his stint with Yeh Hai Chahatein, Kushagre shared, “It ended up being a cameo and not a full-fledged character. I did have other offers to play a lead in a show but I was looking for a strong character and Udaariyaan seemed to be the right choice for me. The process was too quick, within a few hours I got a call from the team that they wanted me to be a part of the show and the next morning I was on a flight and shooting in Chandigarh.”
Talking about his sudden shift to Chandigarh, he said, “Being a bachelor it is somewhere easy to relocate quickly as we don’t have too many things to take along. However, I am still figuring out my stay and comfort here and planning to bring my bike here to have an easy conveyance. It is still the beginning, I hope things go smoothly.”
