Recap : Part 23
Sujatha dragged him to Ragini’s room and slapped him hard in presence of everyone. All of them were shocked. Sumi, Sekhar and Ram questioned for her behaviour. Sujatha fell on the ground looking at Ragini. Both of their eyes were welled up looking at each other.
Ram questioned her again. She just replied, “If I would have known that Sanskar would turn out like this once he grew up, I would have rather killed him, when he was growing in my womb itself”
Everyone were jolted hearing her confession. Ram shouted at Sujatha, “What did he do?” and looked at Ragini whose eyes were misted. Sujatha screamed, “He forced Ragini getting drunk” and she wept. All of them were shocked. Tears rolled down from Ragini’s eyes.
Ram went to her. He folded his hands in front of Ragini and asked her to forgive him, for hooking her with Sanskar. Sanskar felt ashamed of himself, as he was the reason for everything. He stood like a rock and was ready to accept whatever punishment they would give him. He went and fell on Sekhar’s feet. Sekhar moved back.
Ragini held Ram’s hand and said, “papa your hand should be always on my head to bless me, don’t make me feel ashamed by doing all this. It was not your fault papa.” Ram hugged her and they both started to cry in each other embrace. Sekhar felt proud looking at her daughter. Sumi was shocked hearing what her daughter went through.
Dadaji and Dadi were dumbstruck, they never imagined even in their dreams that their princess has to undergo all this problems. Lucky was watching everyone and thought in his mind, “It would had been really great if Raagu got this much support in her past birth. She is lucky enough in this life that she got love of so many people”
Ragini looked at Sumi and Sujatha who collapsed on the ground after knowing the truth. She approached both of them and said, “Maa, won’t you hug me” and she hugged both of them. All the three were uncontrollable. They took her into the bedroom.
Ram and Sekhar fired on Sanskar and were about to beat him for his deeds but lucky stopped them.
Ram and Sekhar shouted on Lucky, “Are you still backing your friend”. Lucky replied, “No I can never do that after knowing what he did with my Raagu. I can never forgive him, even my blood is boiling, but is this the only solution. He is already feeling guilty for what he had done, otherwise why would he say all these even though Raagu has never said about all these to us”
Ram and Sekhar exclaimed, “So you mean to say, we have to put him on our head and pray him for whatever he has done with Raagu?”
Lucky exclaimed, “I don’t mean to say that, a person’s guilt is enough to eat him away. He should know how much pain Raagu has went through. It’s the time where she needs us, let’s support her rather than doing another mistake”
In the room, Sumi and Sujatha were consoling Ragini. Ragini exclaimed, “Maa, I want to say you something”, they made her believe that we are there for you, “tell whatever you feel in your mind”
Ragini got up from the bed and leaned on the pillow. She wept keeping her hand on stomach, “I don’t know if I can ever love this baby”. Both of them were stunned. Dadi was shocked hearing Ragini, she exclaimed, “Laado what are you saying beta?”
Ragini exclaimed shedding tears, “Yes dadi, he is not out of love, he would always remind me of Sanskar’s misdeed. I can’t have this baby”
All of them gathered. Ram exclaimed with misted eyes, “I support Raagu, she has whole right to take that decision”. Sekhar patted Ram’s shoulder for supporting his daughter. Sumi said, “but…”. Sekhar cut down her words and said, “When she can’t love the baby, why should we bring him in this world”. Lucky and Dadi looked unhappy. Sumi and Sujatha had mixed feeling, they knew that Ragini has suffered a lot but is this the correct decision to abort a child. They were puzzled.
Sanskar was hearing all of them from far. Dadaji went to him and said, “Whatever you have done with my granddaughter I would have never forgiven you, but in this situation I don’t know what I should say to you”, saying that he stepped towards his room crying.
Lucky looked at Sanskar who was shocked after hearing their decision. Sanskar looked at Lucky who was nodding at him as nothing is correct now, only you can stop them. His eyes spoke a lot to Sanskar, “Do something”
Everyone in the room finally agreed with Ragini’s decision except Lucky and Dadi, who hadn’t given nod to her decision.
Ragini went to Lucky and questioned, “Lucky, why are you not saying anything?”. He was not able to face her after whatever has happened with her.
Sanskar cried out, “I know, I did a very big mistake but I won’t agree with your decision”
Ram Shouted, “Who asked about your view?”
Dadi exclaimed, “He is the father of that baby, as Ragini even he have equal rights to take decision”. Everyone were shocked. Lucky felt happy as Dadi is trying to save the baby. Ragini exclaimed, “How could you support him Dadi. It’s me who is going to carry him but not him. The baby will be growing in my womb, I have full right to take the decision”
Dadi exclaimed, “Sanskar is father, if he agrees I don’t have any problem. I just don’t want anyone to take decisions in hurry. Even the doctor will not abort if both the parents doesn’t agree.”
Ragini exclaimed, “What about the pain that I am going through?”
Sanskar went near Ragini and tried to hold her but she jerked him and moved back. Sanskar exclaimed, “I did the mistake Ragini not the baby. What’s his fault? Don’t punish him because of me.” He cried out. Lucky looked at RagSan who are deeply hurt from inside.
Sekhar interrupted, “Leave my daughter and get out from this place”. Sanskar disobeyed him and screamed, “I will not keep quiet if you are going to do something to my baby. He is my blood, my love, I would not let anything happen to him. I would divorce Ragini if she hands my baby safely in my hands”
All of them were shocked. He exclaimed, “I would take my baby along with me and would go far away from this place. I would never come back in your life again, trust me, but till that time, I will stay just with you”
Lucky exclaimed, “I think this is the best punishment for him, as we all know how much difficult it is to raise a baby as a single parent.” Everyone fell in thoughts. Ragini rejected the proposal but Sujatha and Sumi who didn’t want to abort the child were confused with Lucky’s opinion. Dadi was finally happy for the baby.
Lucky took everyone into the room leaving RagSan. He exclaimed, “Maa and papa, I know that a very wrong thing happened with Raagu, even I am feeling bad for it, but we all know Sanskar since childhood, is he the person who would behave with anyone in such way? No not at all, Sanky is not such a person. Sujatha aunty just tell me one thing, don’t you know how much he loves Raagu?”
Sujatha cried out, “I know he loves her a lot, so I was very happy for both of them”
Ram exclaimed, “From childhood whatever mistakes he was doing you covered up for him.”
Lucky exclaimed, “No uncle, he never did anything, it was Raagu who tried to break our friendship from childhood and tried to show you that Sanskar was doing mischief but she also changed by the time. She finally changed after falling in love with him.”
Sumi exclaimed, “Yes we agreed for the marriage as they love each other.”
Lucky exclaimed, “Yes maa they told us that they love each other but they never confessed their feelings for each other, they made an agreement before the marriage itself that would get divorce after an year”
All of them were stunned and Sekhar questioned, “But why?”
Lucky exclaimed, “They came to knew that Swara loves me and they just wanted to break Swara- Sanskar’s alliance, and they found this is the way. Both of them have lot of ego problems to confess their love for each other.”
Sumi and Sujatha exclaimed, “You knew all this from before and never said to us!!!”
Lucky exclaimed, “I just hoped that they would convey their feelings for each other after living together but that didn’t happened and worsened. I can’t make everything fine all alone. I need all your help. My heart says they are made for each other. Whatever I was not able to do, may be this baby can do it. He can become life changer for RagSan. As Sanskar said, what was Baby’s mistake, he didn’t ask them that he want to come in this world but if he was sent here that means there should be some reason. Don’t let Raagu abort the baby. Who knows why he is in Ragini’s womb. Don’t let him go maa”
Finally all of them agreed after Lucky persuaded them much. All of them went to RagSan and exclaimed, “We are with Ragini”. Ragini felt very happy and Sanskar became sad. “We have decided to punish Sanskar. So we want Ragini to give birth to the baby and hand over him to Sanskar and he would leave Ragini”. Ragini was shocked. Sumi and Sujatha convinced Ragini and said how much difficult it will be for Sanskar. Ragini finally agreed after knowing how much work he would have even during the pregnancy time.
