Maithili requests Sadhna to seek her life instead of ordering her to marry Raghav. Sadhna says she wants her to protect Arun’s dignity and life and if something happens to him, she wil. Maithili says she will protect her papa’s dignity and life and as promised to Sadhna she is ready to sacrifice her life for her papa and his family’s happiness; she asks why would Raghav marry her. She says to save his job and says she will get her ready for marriage in her papa’s absence and asks her to write a letter to take back her complaint against Raghav and his family. Maithili reminisces all the recent uneventful incidents, writes down a letter, and hands it over to Sadhna. Sadhna asks her to get ready for marriage.

In the hospital, Jwala emotionally blackmails Raghav

and insists him to marry Maithili. He asks what about Arun. She says Arun is ill as he is worried about his daughter’s marriage. Raghav denies reminiscing all the recent events. Sadhna enters and handing him over Maithili’s complaint cancellation letter requests to marry Maithili and save Arun. Jwala walks to him and again emotionally blackmails Raghav. Raghav remembers inspector telling Maithili should take back complaint if he wants his parents out of jail. He tells Sadhna that Maithili should have met him once before filing dowry complaint against his parents, Maithili may not be worried about her parents, but he is and will not tolerate anyone insulting his parents. Sadhana and Jwala convince him somehow.

Maithili remembers Arun bringing her home for the first time and saying she is his daughter like his other 2 daughters and his immense love and trust on her. She thinks she never let her papa down and always made him proud, he may get angry on her but shouldn’t for long for disobeying him for the first time, etc. On the other side, Jwala gets ready for marriage wearing black sari remembering the humiliation faced due to Maithili’s complaint. Mangi asks why she is wearing black sari. She reveals that she is tolerating Maithili till Raghav gets back his job, then she will kick Maithili out of Raghav’s life and will bring another girl with huge dowry.

Aarit warns her not to marry Raghav. Maihtili imagines Arun holding her hand and heading her towards mandap, gets alert and stepping on broken glass enters mandap.
