Scene 1
Vasudeva enters the river and prays to Narayan to show him a path. A basket flows by and he puts little Krishna in the basket, he covers him with a big leaf and says it seems the whole universe is trying to protect my baby. He starts crossing the river while Sheehnaag covers them so they are protected from rain. Vasudeva is trying to cross the river and loses his energy. He starts drowning so all Devtas are worried. Krishna’s foot touches the river and a Ganga Maya arrives there to bless him. The river breaks into 2 and makes a path for Vasudeva and Krishna. Vasudeva crosses the river easily and thanks Ganga Maya. Krishna’s energy makes all soldiers lose their consciousness.
A woman is giving birth to a baby in the king’s palace. The king finds everyone falling asleep. Vasudeva arrives there with Krishna. The king shows his new born baby to him. The king is Vasudeva’s brother and asks how did he come here? where is Deveka? who is this baby? Vasudeva says its my son, he is a blessing for us. You know Kamsa won’t spare him so I am begging you to take him in and give him life. The king accepts Krishna and says he is a blessing so I would take him in, what if Kamsa finds you? Vasudeva says I don’t care about myself, just protect my baby and I have to go back to Deveka. He starts leaving but the king says my daughter was born and suddenly everyone fell asleep here, I think it was done to save your son. My daughter was born to save your son so take her.
