The episode starts with Thakumaa knocking on Sampoorna’s door. Sampoorna wakes up from her sleep and opens the door and sees Thakumaa standing. Sampoorna asks is everything fine? Thakumaa just nods and asks her to come with her as she has some important things to say. Sampoorna closes the door and walks along with Thakumaa, they reach Tapur room and ask Tapur to call Som. Tapur at first gets scared thinking that they both are caught, Sampoorna shakes her and asks her to come fast. Now, four of them are sitting in Tapur room with the door closed. Thakumaa narrates everything to them, all three looks like a ghost haunted without taking their eyes off Thakumaa. Thakumaa keeps her hand on her forehead and looks at them. Somnath asks did kaka accepted this. Tapur says, what you are saying I am this much shocked for daadhu said okay for this, as I had doubt on Kabir dada. Sampoorna asks now what are we going to do? I have a plan and smiles Thakumaa.
Kabir who tries to catch Anirudh falls along with him on the ground. Bondita laughs looking at them. Kabir says, elders saying is right never make friends with the person who is in love and scratches his head, Anirudh laughs loud and says then we both should not keep friendship they head to haveli. Vidya who was sitting on the couch with a saree in her hand sees Kabir and gets up. Kabir stands in some distance and asks her to sit and he sits in the cot that is exactly opposite of the couch. Vidya lifts the saree and asks whether it looks good on her, Kabir looks at the pink saree embroidered with yellow and looks at her and says, yeah it looks good. Kabir, I am not asking about a saree, will it suit me? Asks Vidya. I don’t know about that says Kabir and asks what brings her here. I came to give you this and hands him an envelope says, Vidya. Anirudh smiles at Thakumaa and nods his eyes.
Bondita gets ready with a red silk saree and looks beautiful when she adorns with jewelry, she hears a horn sound and peeps out the window and looks at Roy Chaudhary’s getting down with all the things they bought. Sumati, Rhimjim, and Chandrachur welcome them. Ksj looks so happy and asks Tupur whether they can start. Tupur says, yes daadhu and calls pandit ji to the place they arranged, Thakumaa looks around and says this decoration is so beautiful, Tupur brings Bondita. Bondita looks at everyone and smiles widely, she sits near Pandit Ji on a mat that is covered in a flattened chair and joins her hands. Sumati looks at her and prays that my child should always be happy. Ksj blesses her with husk rice and dubyo, he gifts her gold jewelry and their ancestral necklace and tells welcome to Roy Chaudhary family bahu and feeds her Mishti Doi and Rashogulla. Sampoorna and Binoy together bless Bondita and they give jewelry for her to wear at her wedding and Sampoorna keeps her wedding attire in her head and says welcome to our family this time as my bahu and kisses her on her forehead. Kabir, Som, and Tapur speak something within them and giggle looking at Bondita.
Bondita gets up and holds Kabir’s hand and makes him sit in the place where she sat. Kabir looks confused and asks what are you doing mithi? Bondita moves aside and points her finger in a direction, Kabir gets shocked and his eyes are quickly filled with tears and his mouth utters Badimamma. Thakumaa and KSj look at each other and smiles. Badimamma comes there holding Vibha’s hand who is wearing a pink saree, a small red bindi with minimal jewelry, Kabir is seeing her for the first time in color clothes and with jewelry and gets mesmerized. Kabir turns to Bondita and asks what is happening? Bondita says, dada I don’t know and smiles. Badimamma says today is your Gold dhana, Kabir gets stunning surprised, he tries to get up Badimamma asks him to sit, and tells him to be quiet. Chandrachur brings a plate covered with silk cloth and gives it to Thakumaa and KSj. Ksj gives that to Badimamma and tells we are ready for this alliance between our daughter and your grandson. Vibha gets emotional and folds her hand, Thakumaa shakes her head and nods in her eyes. Badimamma gets the plate from them and says I accept this wholeheartedly and keeps down the plate. Bondita makes Vibha sit on a sofa that was arranged for their function and Kabir sits next to her and holds her hand. Tupur gives a Chunri in a thaal to Badimamma, she keeps the Chunri in Vibha’s head and gives Kabir a ring. Ksj gives a ring to Vibha. Vibha says, without Anirudh dada how can we? and looks at Kabir. Yes, kaka, Anirudh is coming says Sampoorna, Bondita gets happy. Som and Chandrachur place two chairs with some gap in the same line and ask Bondita to sit in one of the chairs. Bondita wonders why they are making it like this. Tapur says, didi don’t think too much you and dada should not meet before marriage so this arrangement and keeps a screen between the chair and asks Anirudh to come. Anirudh tries to look at Bondita, Binoy pulls his ear and asks him to sit quietly, Anirudh makes a puppy face. Now, we can start, says Pandit and recites some mantras. Bengali ritual-Ashirbaad means the family of the groom visits the bride to shower her with blessings and gifts as a symbol of welcoming her into their family. The same is done by the bride’s family for the groom. The bride and the groom are blessed with husk rice and trefoil leaves. The gifts include gold jewelry, family heirlooms, etc. The bride is expected to wear this jewelry on the wedding day. Ritual is followed by a feast.
Gujarati ritual-Gold Dhana means Engagement. The bride and her family arrive at the groom’s family with sweets and gifts. The couple then exchanges rings and seeks blessings from their family.
