Leopard intrusion on the sets of Saubhagyavati Bhava 2: A terrifying encounter for the cast and crew
In the midst of preparations for the eagerly anticipated new season of Saubhagyavati Bhava, the show’s cast and crew were met with a spine-tingling incident on the evening of September 4. As the shooting was underway, a startling turn of events occurred when a leopard unexpectedly entered the set.
According to the reports, at the time of the incident, crew members and several cast members were present on the set. Fortunately, there were no injuries, but the situation was undeniably frightening for all those present.
This alarming occurrence is not an isolated event, as similar incidents involving leopards have been reported on the sets of TV shows in the past. On a prior occasion, during the shooting of Ajooni, a leopard attacked and consumed a dog. Fortunately, no human beings were harmed, but the presence of the wild animal created panic among the cast and crew members. Video footage captured the chilling moment when the leopard ascended to the set by scaling the roof, sending everyone into a frenzy. Tragically, a dog fell victim to the incident.
Leopard intrusions have also been recorded on the sets of other shows, including Neerja and Meri Saas Bhoot Hai. These recurrent encounters with wild animals have raised concerns about the safety of both cast and crew members in such situations.
In an unrelated incident, Dheeraj Dhoopar, the lead actor of Saubhagyavati Bhava 2, recently suffered an injury on set. Despite the pain, Dhoopar continued with his performance, emphasizing, “As an actor, facing injuries or illnesses during shooting is an integral part of our profession. Work always takes precedence for me. Although the injury was painful, it didn’t affect my commitment to delivering my best. This isn’t the first time I’ve faced such a situation; I’ve encountered injuries on set before, but I always strive to give my all.”
