The letter (A Shivika OS)

(Prelude: This is a letter that Anika writes for Shivaay)

Dear Shivaay,

I’m writing this because I am feeling overwhelmed by the memories, right now. So I decided to write this because I just want you to know how much important you are to me.

“I love life because it gave me you. I love you because you gave me my life”

This is what it is. I thought that was the end but then I realized it was just the beginning. Beginning of a new journey with you, by my side.

Trust me it had been beautiful and I hope it continues to. No I’m not saying that I want to live a life without hurdles because that is practically impossible even if I have my Superman with me.

Had it not been for you, I wouldn’t have been alive. I know I never expressed my feelings for you but this is the time. I really really love you, bhagad billa. Now don’t cringe, alright? You are and will always be my bhabhi billa.What place you hold in my life, is only known to me.

When I had nothing, you became my everything.

For me life is to you, and you is to life. My life revolves around you. Or scratch that you’re my world.

My day starts with you and it ends with you. The reason of my smile is you. When I’m with you, what I feel is pure bliss.

You make me feel the nobody ever did. You make me feel special- you care for me, pamper me and most importantly love me.

Your just one smile is enough to make my heart flutter. Your one tear to cause me immense pain. When you are happy, I’m happy too.

To me, you are my home. I feel secure with you, in your arms. When you wrap with your arms around me, it feels everything alright, if not you will set right.

You are my home. You are the key to my heart. You are my sunshine.

When I was lost in the darkness, you became my light. When I was broken, I found solace in your arms.

I know very well that I don’t have high class status like you. Leave that I don’t even know my parents name.

When you get happiness after a long time then you just want it to keep safe. Never leave me. Stay with me, even if only as a bestie because when you are by my side, I can fight till the end.

“Rose are red.
Sky is blue.
You’re the glue,
That holds me together.
You are my sun,
All I want to do is run.
In those arms, cause it’s safest place.
To me you are my home, my solace. ”

Love has made me a poet but somebody has said true ‘Poems aren’t just words.’ They don’t come until you feel the way. They are emotions stringed into words.

“As beats left her heart, the sun went down his sky. A tear escaped his eye”

Sitting by her grave, He cried as he read the letter over and over again. This was the only thing that he had. Such a lovely and brave girl she was, only she could endure the pain life gave her.

He promised to never leave her but she betrayed him. She herself left him. Forever.

Why didn’t she tell him? He could have saved her. She could have told him that someone was after her life. She sacrificed herself for him.

He cried as he thought about the time spent her. As he read the name, Mrs. Anika Shivaay Singh Oberoi, it pierced his heart yet soothed him.

“Here girls die to get my attention, flirt with me and here you are, ignoring your hot husband” he said.

Anika rolled her eyes. “My self obsessed husband” she muttered. “Let the girls flirt with you next time, I’ll cut their tongues. You are just mine” Anika huffed.

Oh man! She looked so cute when she was jealous.

“You look so cute when you are jealous, Miss. Maheshwari”

“It’s Mrs. Oberoi. Mind you, I’m taken”

“Aww…” he pulled her cheeks and pulled her in for a hug.

As tears trickled down his cheeks, he draw a heart on the sand.

What if she was not with him. She was in his heart. Because when you love somebody, their memories don’t leave your heart, even if the person does.

Hey guys! How are you doin’? I mentioned that I was going to update on Sunday but I don’t think that I can update on Sunday as I’ll be busy with a few things.

I hope all’s well and you are enjoying the one shots. I have been trying to write sad ending from a while and I hope it was up-to your expectations.
