Madhubala Ek Ishq Ek Junoon is one show that has been ruling the TRP chart on Colors since its very start. The chemistry between the lead stars Drashti Dhami as Madhubala and Vivian Dsena as Rishabh Kundra have won many hearts. The show felt it was getting dragged but wanted to get more eyeballs, so it took a 20 year leap killing the vivacious couple.
Post their death, Drashti Dhami was shown in different light as Madhubala’s daughter, names Madhubala again. She came to Mumbai to earn a living for the treatment for her Dida’s (Radha) TB illness. She meets the man of her dreams, the superstar Abhay Kapoor and falls in love with him. The goodness of Madhubala attracts Abhay and he decides to get married to her.
At the time of marriage, Abhay gets shocked to know that Madhubala is Rishabh’s daughter, the man who is responsible for his dad’s death. Abhay changes his mind to marry her as his mind fills with revenge. He makes Madhubala marry the mentally challenged Raju (RK’s look alike). Then starts the game of good versus evil.
Abhay tries hard to bring troubles in Madhubala’s life but fails every time. Madhubala gets a good friend in her husband Raju and decides to make him mentally fine. The current track of the serial shows Raju getting fine and tackling Abhay.
