Lock Upp fame Sara Khan joins the cast of Palkon Ki Chaavn Mein
Sara Khan who was last seen in the show Spy Bahu is back in action. Sara who rose to fame with her stint in Lock Upp has joined the cast of Palkon Ki Chaavn Mein. The actress will be essaying the role of Tanya Rastogi, an NRI, in the daily soap.
Sara talked about it during a recent interview and shared, “Tanya is the antagonist, who has developed a liking for the main guy, Nandan (Ashish Dixit). She enters the house with her mother and the story progresses.”
In spite of her experience as an actress, Sara admitted that joining an ongoing show is always a challenge. “The show is produced by Rashmi Sharma and I have joined most of her shows midway. She always offers me a character that allows me to explore as an artiste and liberty to perform the way I want to.”
She further added, “It is definitely a huge responsibility to join a show midway because the audience already establishes a connection with the original cast. Toh aap par aur zyada responsibility aa jaati hai ki achha karna hai, behtar karna hai and public ko khud ke character ki taraf aakarshit karna hai. I definitely get anxious while taking up such challenges. I am usually conscious about playing a character to the best of my ability and I work a lot on my character.”
Talking about her last fiction show, Spy Bahu which ended in just six months in September, she said, “It was quite abrupt and I wasn’t satisfied, as this was the first time a show ended soon after I joined it. It wasn’t a great feeling.”
