Lock Upp: Karan Kundrra slams Karanvir Bohra for asking contestant Anjali Arora to create a “romance angle” with him

The recent episode of Lock Upp witnessed Karanvir Bohra being invited to the ‘Jhol Ghar’. Jailor Karan Kundrra confronted him for asking Anjali Arora to create a “love angle” with him. Though Karanvir tried to clarify that it wasn’t a “love angle” and that he just wanted to create an angle where she would play having a crush on him.

He said, “Create an angle. Of course, I will not be involved because I am married. It won’t be from my side, let it be from your side as a crush, not even a romance. My wife and her family must have felt bad, I’m sure and I really apologize to them and her.”

Karan Kundrra said, “KV, it fu****g looked bad. Do you know how long I’ve known Teejay? You know. Put yourself in Teejay’s shoes or if she would have done something similar on a show ‘fatke haath me aa gayi hoti'”

Karanvir realized his mistake and apologized for it. Karan Kundrra then gave him a temptation where he could meet his wife Teejay Sidhu in person and apologize to her. Karan said, “Your wife, single-handedly has stood her ground and supported you and taken all that sh*t that came and it was a sh*t show.”

However, in return, he was asked to evict one contestant from the show whose name wasn’t on the charge sheet. Karanvir took Payal Rohatgi’s name but because her name was already on the charge sheet, he took Ali Merchant’s name. After taking his time Karanvir finally took Siddharth Sharma’s name for direct elimination.

This obviously left Siddharth shocked as he was not expecting it at all. At first, he was angry but later he hugged Karanvir and told him that he shares his late father’s name. He also said that he is happy that because of his elimination, Karanvir got to meet his daughters and family.

Karanvir was allowed to play Holi with his family.
