Chapter 65: “Relationships at stake!!!”
Listening to these words, Riddhima became shocked and her grip on Annie’s shoulder losened! She got up abruptly being extremely shocked.
A(crying): I am sorry! I couldn’t save her. She died in front of my eyes! I am sorry that I hid this fact! I was scared! Sorry!!
Annie was crying bitterly but Riddhima was also not in her senses. She patted Annie’s shoulder absentmindedly and said,
R: Relax! You have no fault! Thanks for telling!
Saying so, she left the room. She was walking through the corridor and was stumbling. Nayra’s death news and Aryan’s pain was going through her mind. She was totally numb and was feeling dizzy. She was about to hit a table when Sia came from the opposite direction and held her, Her phone dropped from her hands.
S(worried): Riddhima! Are You ok?
Riddhima didn’t replied.
S: I think your BP is low. Come with me!
She took her to her room and checked her BP. She asked a servant to bring juice for Riddhima. Riddhima tried to normalize herself to not create panic for everyone.
R(herself): I have to normalize myself otherwise everyone will doubt. Specially Vansh. I have to tell this to Vansh. After Sangeet event, I will tell him everything. Right now, I need to act normal. (Thinking about Nayra) Nayra….Why this all happened! I wish you were alive!
After that, Riddhima tried to normalize herself and Sia helped her dress up for the event. Riddhima forbade Sia from telling anyone about her stumbling and all. Sejal and Ishani also joined them. She got busy with them.
After that, The Sangeet event happened and everyone looked beautiful. The Mansion was decorated like a Bride and everyone danced on various songs. The couples danced together. There was also a girls versace boys dance competition and singing competition. Everyone was engrossed in the event happenings. Kabir seemed a little hesitant to his father but was enjoying fully with his mother. When the event was concluding, the drum beaters started beating drums and everyone was doing bhangra. While dancing on drum beats, Riddhima saw Rudra standing alone at a corner and went towards him to talk. She tried to talk with him but Rudra seemed quite hesitant. He was ignoring Riddhima. Before, Riddhima could speak anything, Ravi came and dragged Rudra with him on the dancing floor. Riddhima standing there, All of a sudden, realized something and thought,
R: I need to talk. I should call him/her outside to talk.
Thinking so, She opened her clutch but her phone was not there.
R: My phone?
Then, we see someone picking up Riddhima’s phone and that person opened the phone to check,
Person: It seems Riddhima’s phone!
The moment, the phone openes, Nayra’s sketch was there on the screen. The person became shocked, recognizing her,
“NAYRA!?”
The person said in a broken voice and then, the person is shown to be Aryan.
Meanwhile, Annie come to Aryan and sees phone in his hands,
A: This is Riddhima’s phone! What is it doing here? Maybe she dropped it after knowing about Nayra.
Aryan coming out of trance, trying to process everything, asks,
A: How do you know Nayra?
And then, Annie tells him everything about how Riddhima was asking her about Nayra. She also apologised to him for hiding it and told him how guilty she is!
Aryan was extremely shocked and hurt,
A: It means Riddhima knew everything and hid it from me. She hid all this about my Nayra! My Nayra! She was alive!?!
Tears roll down his cheeks but the betrayal he was feeling made him extremely angry. He wiped his tears and started going downstairs angrily.
The scene again shifts towards Riddhima remembering that she dropped her phone outside Annie’s room. She starts going towards the room. She was ascending the stairs when she found Aryan coming downstairs angrily.
R(worried): What happened Aryan?
Aryan in extreme anger, stared her angrily and held her tightly taking her with him to the area where everyone was dancing. Everyone saw him dragging Riddhima in the middle and stopped dancing. Vansh became angry at the way Aryan was dragging Riddhima. He angrily asked,
V: What’s this behaviour Aryan? Why are you dragging her like this?
A(angry): Ask Riddhima! What she has done! Maybe you all will not be that much hurt but I really am!
Riddhima asked being worried,
R: But what exactly I have done Aryan? Why are you so angry?
A(Teary but furious): You have hidden something really big!
Listening to this, Riddhima got shocked and her gaze fell on Aryan’s hand. He was holding her phone. And this made everything cleared to Riddhima. The very moment Annie came downstairs and said,
A: I am Sorry Riddhima! I didn’t know that Aryan bhai know nothing. My guilt was kiling me from inside. I wanted to apologise so I told him everything. Riddhima’s eyes widened and she was standing there blank. She was not finding words to clarify herself. She knew Aryan’s anger very well and this was what she feared. His reaction! The only words that came out of her mouth was,
R: I can explain Aryan!
Listening to this, Aryan broke the vase placed on a nearby table and shouted,
A(loud): What will you explain!!!
This angered Vansh and he shouted,
V: Don’t shout Aryan! (Looking towards Riddhima) Riddhima! Will you tell me whats happening here?
Aryan: I will tell you!
He opened Riddhima’s phone and showed him the sketch,
Aryan: Do you know who she is?
Vansh: No! But…
Aryan(shouts): Nayra!! My Nayra!! This girl is my Nayra! She was alive!! She was not dead!! And Riddhima knew it!! Riddhima knew that Nayra was alive and she hide all this! She met Nayra!! And now, Nayra has died!!!! She was my sister and Riddhima hid all this from me!! She snatched my right!! Rather than telling me, she kept on finding her on her own! And she couldn’t find her! And Nayra died!!!!
Everyone was shocked. Aryan was in extreme anger and was crying knowing that her sister is dead.
A(crying): Once again I lost her. I couldn’t save her once again! And this time, because of you! How could you!?!?!
Vansh looked towards Riddhima who was crying. He went towards her and asked lifting her chin up,
V: Did you know about the sketch?
Tears rolled down her cheeks. But she was well aware that this time, though for a reason, but she was actually at fault. Riddhima not able to meet his eyes, bent down her head and nodded in yes.
R(guiltfully): I knew that….she was Nayra but I didn’t know that she was alive! I am sorry!
Try to understand! I didn’t do it intentionally.
Vansh felt extremely hurt by the fact that Riddhima once again hid the truth from him but this time, he knew that Riddhima would have an explanation. This time he didn’t want misunderstandings to break their relation. He said,
V: I understand! But you should have told me atleast!
Aryan: Told you?! What you mean? You also knew everything?
And then, Vansh told everyone how he met Nayra at stadium and then, she was hit by his car. He told them each and everything and tried to justify Riddhima even though he himself was hurt.
V: If she is saying that she has not done anything intentionally then, atleast you should listen to her.
But Aryan was in no mood to listen. He angrily went upstairs. Ishani followed him.
Ajay asked Riddhima why she hid it all and she told everything how she wanted to first confirm about Nayra being alive! But still everyone was hurt a little.
The event ended and everyone went to their rooms. Riddhima tried to talk to Aryan but he didn’t open the door. Everyone tried to pacify Aryan but in vain.
It was midnight. Vansh was standing at terrace thinking about everything. He was hurt and angry. Riddhima came there and stood beside him. Vansh felt her presence and craned his neck to see. The moment he saw her, he started going back but Riddhima stopped him,
R(guilty): I am sorry Vansh! Atleast talk to me!
V(serious): I don’t want to talk!
R: Please listen na! You were taking my side downstairs and now not even listening!
V: I was taking your side because I know that you would have done all this for some reason but there should be nothing hidden between us Riddhima! I kept on asking you but you told me nothing!! Don’t you trust me Riddhima?
R: No Vansh! I trust you more than myself!
V: Then why did you do all this?
R: I wanted to tell all this first to Aryan!
Vansh said nothing as he was angry. Riddhima tried to calm him down by holding his cheeks between her palms,
R: Vansh! Just imagine, God forbids, Sia would have been in Nayra’s place and I would have got to know about her. Wouldn’t you want me to tell you first being her brother? I told you all that. I didn’t know about her being alive or dead. The first right of knowing about her is of Aryan but I had no courage to tell him the moment I got to know all this. I know his pain and I know his anger too. I wanted to tell him in a more suitable time but it came out like this. I never wanted all this to happen this way.
She tried to make him understand and she succeed. Vansh understood her side. She apologised to him multiple times and they patched up but still there was one more person to be convinced!
