Chapter 70: “A New Challenge”
Riddhima was shocked and furious listening to all the words of Annie. She was feeling disgusted and extremely sad for Mrs. D’souza! Now, All her doubts were crystal clear! Annie!! It was Annie behind everything happening till now. She replied with a serious tone,
R: When I had asked you about Nayra, you said “not able to bear the pain anymore, she lost ONCE AGAIN!!!” I didn’t notice it first but during Sangeet, I was thinking about everything and it made me realize that I have never mentioned what happened to Nayra then how did you know that she had suffered pain before!!! I wanted to talk to you but then you did all that drama of telling everything to Aryan and acting innocent. I was sure that you are somehow involved. And then, I got another lead which made my doubt crystal clear! Actually This lead played the main role!
A: What is it?
R(thinking about Sanjay): You will get to know it at the right time!
A(angrily): Dont you dare outsmart me now! Its useless!
R(angrily): Tell me Annie! Where is Nayra? Where did you find her?
A(laughing evilly): Nayra! Nayra! Nayra!! So desperate you are to know about her!! Huh! Okay! Let’s fulfil your wish for the sake of caring for me all these days! You know I keep no debts and favours!! So Yeah I don’t know what and where Nayra came from. I only got to know about Nayra when boss ordered me to kill her as she had got to know something and she had been seen in Dehradun! I inquired about her when you mentioned her and got to know that she was raped and murdered 2 years back in an attempt of kidnapping! But I have no idea how she was alive and honestly, I dont even care! She was alive and I had to find her to get money. That’s all what matters to me! For me, I don’t give a shit to that piece of trash!
No sooner did she said all this, she received a tight slap from Riddhima. Riddhima was extremely furious and her mind had blasted with all the talks of Annie!! She was burning from inside as if volcanoes were erupting out ! Riddhima was about to slap <span;>her again but Annie angrily resisted her saying,
A(furious): How dare you!! How dare you touch me!
R(angrily): How dare I? How dare you!!!! I feel so ashamed to call you a girl or even a human!! You have no emotions inside you!!! You destroyed the integrity and safety of a girl just for the sake of money!!! You are yourself a girl and can’t even understand the pain of those girls you have sold out!!!! How dare you!!!
A(furious): You didn’t do it right!! Now You will see What I will do! Now, You see what I will do with Nayra!!
R: Don’t you dare do anything to her! Or…..(showing her phone) Or I will send this recording of your confession to the department!
A(smirks): Who will tell you about the boss if I get arrested! Who will tell you about Nayra if your useless department catch me? Because I am not going to open my mouth no matter what!!!
R: Even your angels will speak!!
Annie removes a blade from her pants and placing it at her wrist, she says,
A: Once I am dead, believe me you will never be able to find Nayra! No one! I repeat no one knows about Nayra except me!
R(shouting): Remove that blade Annie!! put it down!!
A: First, you delete that audio and all other proofs you have regarding me!!
R: No!!
A: No one knows about Nayra! I personally take care of her! If I die, then in no time,Nayra will die too! You want her alive huh?? Then Do as I say!!!
She shouts!! And slowly moves blade on her wrist threatning her!
Riddhima finding no other way agrees to delete the audio. She opens her phone and thinks to send the audios to the department but right at that moment, Annie snatches her phone and destroys it into pieces! She says smirking,
A: You think I am a fool? I will not get it that you can send audios to the department!! Hahaha! So predictable you are!! And what do you think? I will go to take care of Nayra myself so that you can follow me and get to know where she is kept!! No No No!! I am not an idiot Riddhima! You are stupid actually!!!
She goes near the table and torns the photos that Riddhima showed her, destroying the last evidence.
Riddhima was standing in extreme rage seeing Annie destroying all the evidence. Annie deleted all the audios from Riddhima’s phone and backup of the phone storage. She made sure that no proof is left behind. Riddhima was standing helpless as she had nothing left against Annie. After destroying, Annie said with an evil smile,
Annie: Go home Dear Riddhima! You can’t prove me culprit in this life! Infact, I won’t let it happen ever! And don’t you dare tell anything to anyone. Remember! Nayra’s life is in my hand. She will remain alive as long as you keep your mouth shut! The moment you did a single mistake by your oversmartness, Nayra will be no more! This is my first and last warning! I never give chances!
Rid(serious): But How can I trust you that Nayra is alive? Maybe you are just playing a bluff.
Annie(laughs): So predictable! I knew you were going to ask this only. Let me make you talk to her!
She opens an app in her phone which shows the live CCTV footage of a dark room. A beam of light was falling in the room in which a girl was visible. The girl was unconcious but her face was lightly visible enough for Riddhima to identify her as Nayra.
Annie: See! She’s alive! Alive enough to tell me what I want to know!
Saying this, Annie started walking away. Riddhima was extremely furious by everything that Annie did. But she was helpless of doing anything at that moment because Nayra was in her custody. She had no clue about her. Though she had nothing to do but still she said in rage,
Rid(rageful): Mark my words Annie! Whatever you do, wherever you go…but you can’t escape from me!
Annie turned listening to her. Riddhima looked directly in her eyes and said furiously,
R: I AM MJ. DR. RIDDHIMA SHAH! WHETHER IT TAKES 10 DAYS, 10 MONTHS OR 10 YEARS, I WILL FIND NAYRA AND I WILL SERVE JUSTICE TO EACH AND EVERY GIRL THAT YOU HAVE SOLD ACROSS THE BORDERS. YOU HAVE NO RIGHT OF DESTROYING ANYONE’S LIFE! YOU WILL MEET YOUR DEAD END SOON! MY EYES ARE ON YOU NOW!
Annie was extremely furious at her words. She replied moving close to her and looking in her eyes,
A(rageful): I am ready! You will soon regret whatever you said!! Lets see who meets her dead end first. You or me!! And when it comes to destroying,…(whispering in Riddhima’s ear with evil accent)…Let’s start with your life!!!
Saying so, Annie turned and left. After coming out, Annie thought to herself,
“What you did was not right Riddhima! Now you will see what I can do”
Saying so, she called someone and smirked evilly.
