I completed Swara’s handmade noodles somehow… I was so late to the office… I had taken leave the previous day… And that day I was going late..I was driving my scooty on the way to my office…
My messed up hairs,really were so bad…I can just say that I had never been bad before…And this was all because of that invisible man with voice…I wondered whether it was a dream of mine… No, it couldn’t be…
I had reached my office…I had never been this irregular to my office!!! I parked my vehicle and actually I were running….
The elevator was about to start from the ground floor…My thoughts when I was running and jumping, was all about my messy hairs… It’s okay, it couldn’t get even worse than that…I jumped into the elevator actually..Because of my face, my face went and rested on big arms of one who was in the elevator… I was heavily breathing at that time… Oh no, I accidentally hugged him… I didn’t look at his face yet…
With an embarrassment, I lifted up my face and looked at him… He was a good-looking hottie, definitely would be a bachelor, dressed up like an IT professional… His hairs had a little spikes!!! I had to apologise him first because I didn’t land into the lift but to his arms… I picked up words…
Me: I’m actually Sorry!!! I was just…
He (with a smile): It’s okay Ragini!!!
It’s a voice familiar to me…Yeah, it was the voice of him… A debate was going in my mind…Whether he was the same invisible man or the voices of both were just similar… And yeah, how did he know my name… Then, I started with a question…
Me: Excuse me, how did you know my name???I’m seeing you for the time…
He: Because of your… ID card…
Me: Oh okay!!!
Then, I don’t know why did I search for his ID-card…My eyes didn’t know how to do a naughty work without being caught… He caught me…
He(with a one-sided smile): Searching for
anything??? Searching for my ID-Card,right???
I thought that I had to change the topic or else he would think very bad about me…
Me: Forget it!!!And I haven’t seen you here before….
He: I’m new to this office… Today is my first day and then,my ID card is not yet ready Ragini…Of course you want to know my name, then I would say it…
He laughed at me… Oh he was kidding me……
I actually wanted to know his name…But unfortunately, his floor had came.. So he stepped out of the lift, giving a smile to me…
I was all alone in the lift, thinking of the incidents happened from the last night…. How the voices could be this much similar??? First,I had to be a friend with him and then I should ask them about it…But unconditionally, I became so sad that our conversation ended that soon… And his smile though,it was so cute…Ok Enough Ragini, my floor had came then…So I stepped out of the lift.. I had many works to do… Everything gave me a severe headache… After completing a part of my work, I went for a coffee… Always my best companion was a cup of coffee… Everybody was so busy…So I sat on a table where none was present…
To my surprise,he came and sat opposite to me… What the!!!
He: Hey Ragini!!! Thought to have a cup of coffee… So I came here… And you,here??
His question was irrelevant actually… Why do anyone go to cafeteria???Abd he had also seen me with a cup of coffee…Yet,I didn’t wanna disappoint that hottie with no answer… So I answered thinking that I was damn funny…
Me: I came here to drink poison…
I made a naughty face…
He: Oh very funny!!!
Me:If it’s so,thank you!!!
A few minutes of silence remained when we are busy in tasting the coffee!!! Aawww!!! Coffee is always my pain-killer…But it was quite hot!!!He broke the silence..
He: The coffee is so hot, isn’t it????
Me (without knowledge, from my heart): Not as hot as you…
Omg! What I had said then!!! This couldn’t get worse than this… If he left it as unnoticed, then it wouldn’t be a problem… But he would react to my idiotic phrase!!! Yeah, some drops of coffee splashed aside from his mouth,after listening one of the most idiotic phrases of my life…
He: What???
I didn’t know how to react then…I told a silly reason…
Me: Just for fun…
It was the most embarrassing situation in my life… Usually, if boys hit on me, or flirt with me, I would ignore everything… But that was the first time, I was hitting on a boy… I was actually flirting with him without my knowledge…
He: Okay, I’m convinced… So ain’t I looking really hot???
I gave a smile… That’s it… What would I answer for his question!!! My mouth was out of my control…So it was better to shut it… I didn’t know his name yet… I was about to ask his name…But before that,
He: You aren’t asking for my name… So I’m telling it… I’m.Laksh!!! My dear ones would call me,”Lucky ”
Oh so his name was Laksh… And what was the necessity of his last sentence… “My dear ones would call me,” Lucky “”… So we both were flirting with each other…. Anyways ,I replied with a smile…
Me: Laksh, nice name…
He finished his coffee and I had also finished…. Then we both stood up to leave… I was leaving….Suddenly I turned hearing his voice…
Lucky: Hey,Tell me whether you are gonna call me Lucky or Laksh..
Me: My pet name is Rags…
He gave a sweet smile….
Lucky: So bye Rags…
Me:All the best for your first day in office, Lucky!!!
We both gave each other a smile and I continued with my work.
Actually, it was my first time with a boy like that… And maybe, it was because of that voice…It wasn’t a love at first sight… Yet,I liked him…Liked him a lot…..
