Chapter 18-
An important announcement of a new character -Dr. Dev played by vikram (Dr. Kabir from savithri devi college and hospital )
Next day-
Karan was called from his courtese by Dr. Dev to his cabin (karan is in the hospital and have that allergy)
When karan entered the cabin he saw a lady there. He couldn’t see her face as she was facing her back to him.
Dev:ah…There he is…
The lady turns. She is Naina. karan was super shocked to see her there. A no. of thoughts flashed through his mind. Naina also got surprised to see him. But suddenly her smile fades…
Dev:this is ur patient,karan…Karan singh chauhan…
Naina mischievously smiles. Karan makes a caught expression.
Naina :so ur name is karan.. Karan singh chauhan,huh!?
Dev:karan,this is our new intern,Dr….
Naina :GOWRI..
Dev looks at her and she signs him with a smile.
Dev:yea…Yeah… Gowri solanki!!

Naina :Karan….
Karan was moving fastly through the corridor as he know about her tongue which won’t leave him… but our Naina is not ready to give in. She ran behind him and stopped him
Naina :oh! So you are karan,huh?
Karan :yessss!
Naina :and you borrowed that name from ur Dr.,hena?
He looked at her amd started walking. Naina was running behind him.. In the middle of the way he stopped.
Karan :why are u following me? Mind ur own business and go…
Naina:Karan,l am doing my duty. Don’t u remember that from now,you are my responsibility.. So l had to visit u often…And now l am coming with u to ur courtese…
Karan :god!!! Pls save me…
Naina :”FOR THAT HE SENT ME”
Karan started walking…Naina also….
Then after a few minutes they reached his courtese. When naina entered the room. She was stunned to see the room. Full of darkness. There was not a single loop hole for the sun to peep in. Long and thick curtains stopped the rays from entering the home…Karan put the lights on…Naina looked at him surprisingly…She then moves to the windows and removed the curtains one by one…The first rays of sun who were set free by naina to enter the room flashed on karan’s face. He covered the face in reflex.. But slowly he removed the hand when his eyes cooperated with the playful sunlight…May be his heart also.. The rays of sun were like naina,who brought light to his life…
That light rays along with naina’s eyes searched the whole room and suddenly stucked on big canvas and some colours…She smiled looking at it and sat on a chair.
Naina :so,karan…How long are u here?
Karan doesn’t remember when he came there. Because he passed his so much days,so much months and may be so much years in this room. He didn’t felt that he came there for sometime…. Neither he felt that he will go from there…
Karan :may be years!!!
Naina :ah? O.. Ok..
She stood up and went to he canvas…
Naina :so you are an artist,huh?
Karan :why are you asking this much questions?? Don’t u know how to shut up your mouth,Miss. Badthameez?
Naina this time got her temper.
Naina :look Mr. Karan singh chauhan.. Now we are not strangers who met in the middle road…Now l am ur Dr. And u are my patient…YOU GOT IT…..
Karan looked at her shockingly.. His nightmare even didn’t had such a scene in which SHE will like this.
Karan:voh… Gowri…
Suddenly he heard her bursting out to laughter…Oh my god,she was only joking.. Yaar karan…You got afraid.. But…. why?
Naina(fainting ):you…You looked soo cute…Haha…Karan…From now on l will be in charge of u and l don’t want to be a khadoos.. I can’t be yaar…So be friends with me just like you are with Dr. Dev..
Karan :what!!! We are not friends.. I don’t have any friends…
Naina:oh!,then it’s ok…I will be ur first friend..
She forwarda her hand. Karan looks at her. She understands the reason.
Naina :ok where is ur gloves…Wear it…
Karan haven’t ever used it.. Infact he just threw it away at the next moment he got it from Dr. Dev..
Karan :ah.. I…I lost it…
Naina :don’t worry let’s search.. It will be some where here..
And Naina started searching…she was searching the whole room,after sometime she got it from some trashes of his paintings.. She took one of the painting and looked.. She saw Nk’s picture. She looked at the picture and put it back…Karan was all the time thinking of her this strange behavior.
Naina :Karan.. Here it is..
Karan :l…l never used it..
Naina :ya.. I understood…Don’t worry…Give it a good start now..
Under the hige pressure Naina kept over him for wearing the gloves and the puppy faces made by her forced him to wear it.. After he wearing it, again she forwarded her hand. Hesitantly,he shaked his hands with her. She smiled at him.
So she sat again on the chair and karan sat on the bed…
Naina :so.. I will tell about my family.. My small big family.. In that family,l had my mumma,my di,my bhaiyyu,my badi mami,my choti mami,my chote mamu,my bade mamu,my vaibhu and my kajal….
In front of every one’s name she added “my”.. Which made him feel that love and closeness…She continued..
“my mumma was a school teacher in bundi. Now she is not working as we had shifted from there to here.. Next my meghu di,meghna solanki.. Now she is working at Naik industries here at delhi.. My bhaiyyu,l mean vishal bhaiyyu.. He is a doctor now at mumbai.. Bade mama,chotte mama and our mami’s along with vaibhu is settled there at bundi.. Vaibhu is chotte mama’s son and my bhaiyyu is bade mama’s son. Kajal is my best friend and she is also a doctor working at pune.. Oh! Forgot to say, my mother’s name is shardha…Shardha solanki.. Karan!!! KARAN…
He was intensely gazing at her so that he didn’t heard her calling. At one last scream of naina made him come back to senses…
Karan :huh…Haan..
Naina :hm…You understood..
Karan :haan..
Naina felt strange that he even didn’t asked her about her father,where he is…,Nothing!
Naina :so…What about yours…
Karan :mine? Ha…
Just then naina saw the paintings kept on the wall,hanging.
Naina :oh.. This is so beautiful.. You did it…Hena?
Karan nodded.
All were the pictures of some people.
Naina(pointing to 1):who is this?
Karan: that’s my dadu..sujan Singh chauhan…founder of bharat industries…
Naina smiled and moved to other:who is this?
Karan: my mom.nirmala chauhan..hearthstone of chauhan’s mansion.
After that came his masimaa,abhay,kyathi and kunal…
All were portrayed in a great and beautiful way…but to naina’s surprise, she nowhere found his dad’s pic.nor she heard about him.she thought of asking him but suddenly that trash came to her mind.she couldn’t see that face any where in those pictures. She felt that something is there in between the father and son.

Dr dev got tensed when naina rushed into his cabin.
Dev:what’s the matter naina?
Naina: l want to know more about Karan!.
Dev was surprised by her sudden question.
Dev:naina, karan is a special case.his disease is not his actual problem here…it’s his fear or his thought that he is use less which makes it dangerous. He is not even ready to cooperate with the treatment. He is in a revenge.
Naina: to whom ,his father!????
Dev:yes,his father.nand kishore chauhan….
Naina shows a picture in her phone. She took it without karan’s notice.
Naina: is this his dad?
Dev looks at it and nods yes.now she understood why he didn’t asked her about her father..
Naina: what will be the reason for his revenge.isis it because of his allergy?!!!!!!..
