Days flew away.. Naina and Karan became best friends…sometimes,some thing more than friendship was playing between them…
One fine day-
Naina came to her hospital in the morning and went to her cabin. Infront of the cabin,she found Karan. Naina smiled and walked to him. He didn’t noticed her and walked off. Naina felt strange as she saw no one there…No patients,no doctors.. The corridors were silent,only Karan was walking through there. Naina followed him calling his name. But he didn’t turned back. She followed him and suddenly he got disappeared into the large hall where the patients do yoga.
Naina :what’s he doing there?
She slowly opened the door. It was full of darkness. Suddenly the lights were on amd she saw a grandly decorated room. She gasped in a moment that it was her birthday and this is her gift from her hospital. But suddenly her smile fades…Her name!!!. Tosy everything is going to be cleared for Karan. She was afraid of his reactions when he knows it suddenly. But to her surprise all sang
“HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU…
HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU….
HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU DEAR GOWRI..
HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU…..”
She saw on the cake was also written her name as GOWRI. She looked straight into Dr. Dev’s eyes. Yes she got the answer from his eyes as he winked at her. Though it wasn’t her real name,it’s the name by which she is called bykaran,her best friend!!….. So it’s special and it only hers…After cutting the cake which was also made by looking after the diet of the patients…Everyone started giving gifts.. But except one-karan!!!
Karan haven’t wished her personally. After the celebration everyone dispersed. Naina went to karan’s courtese. Again she saw Karan,standing near his bed facing her his back. Se slowly went near him and called”Karan “ He turned aside which made visible to her the large canvas covered with a red cloth. She was noticing it since some days…But today she knew that it was for her.He slowly removed the cloth. As the curtain lifted up she saw a painting of hers.. A huge painting which she feeled that it is more beautiful than her…And soon she started to feel jealous as it was made by HIM…And under that picture was beautifully written “Miss. Badthameez”. She gave him a sharp glare. Which made him scratch his head…
Naina :so this is my gift…
Karan :yes gowri.. Didn’t u like it.
Naina :no…
Karan felt sad…
Naina :l loved it Karan,but l need another gift..
Karan :what is it gowri?
Naina :A promise,a promise to keep this picture with u always as a token of our friendship…
Karan :oh! U want me to keep this,huh…. Of course l will.. How could l forget this Miss. Badthameez….
Naina :Oh really,Mr. Chatte waala akdu…..
And both laughs…
It’s evening when Naina was coming from Dr. Dev’s cabin.. Along with Dr. Dev. The scene which always makes Karan jealous.. Karan was sitting on the bench in the garden…Naina sees him. Karan also saw Naina,along with Dr. Dev…His heart started burning and he looked away. Naina excuse to dev to go to Karan. Dev smirks and let her go to complete that lovely couple and goes from there. Naina sat down with Karan amd they started talking. Suddenly someone blindfolds her eyes. She touches the hand and gets delighted tp lnpw that it was her meghu di….
Naina :di…. U are back…I missed u a lot…
Meghna :sorry cheeku…I haven’t wished u,because l wanted to give u surprise…And l was only away for 2days,but u are saying like u are seeing me after years…!!
Naina :very funny…Huh..
Meghna notices Karan and Naina introduces them to each other.
Meghna :oh!!toh yeh hei tumhare chatte waala akdu…
Karan smiles at her.
Meghna :by the way l have another gift for u.
Naina :what is it di?!
Karan :ding…ding…ding… ding.. Turn around and see what l got…
Naina turns and sees a young man with flowers. She ran to him and hugs. Again a burning Karan wakes up.”oh god from where did this new duffer came…when l was trying to get rid of one,one by one are coming again to make me……Ek kafi nahi dha kya?
Naina :Jeevan…(he is only in this scene….u could imagine anyone in this role).
Jeevan :take ur sister away meghu di….,l am angry on her.
Naina :why?
Jeevan :why???? U were here in delhi…But didn’t even thought to inform me..
Naina holds her ears…Jeevan gives her flowers to her.
Jeevan :who’s this?
Naina :oh! This is Karan.. My…Friend…
Jeevan :hai Karan..
Karan :hai…
Naina :di,l want to show u something…Karan!… Give me ur keys…
Karan smiles at her and gives the keys.. Naina and Meghna left.
Karan :so,you are her friend…
Jeevan :yeah,like her best friend….
[gosh! He is putting fuel to the fire???]
Jeevan :me,Kajal and cheeku were besties since childhood.. I m basically from bundi…Just working here in delhi…
Karan :oh…Ok…

Meghna was just admiring at the picture he had drawn.
Meghna :oh! He os so talented..
Naina :ya di,he is very much talented…… Di let’s go. We left Jeevan along with Karan.. Agar usne kuch ulta seeda pochliya toh,gadbad hojayega…
Meghna :u cares a lot for him…
As meghna turned she got a sight of some picture hanging on the wall. But as they were in a hurry she didn’t checked what it was…
Karan’s side –
Jeevan :so good to talk with u..
Karan :are u a doctor like gowri…
Jeevan :who’s GOWRI..?
Karan :what are u saying? Gowri.. Ur childhood friend.. For whom u came here.. Don’t prank with me….
Jeevan :no.. Karan. I am serious. She.. She is not gowri…but naina…Naina solanki
Karan :no Jeevan…she is gowri…
Just then jeevan sees meghna and naina coming back.
Jeevan :lo di,Karan is saying that ur sister’s name is gowri,not naina!
Meghna remains silent as she knows the truth…Naina is completely shocked…
Karan :gowri…What is ur friend saying?
“Come on naina,speak up.. He is asking u and u can’t lie to him anymore..”she thought to herself. As though she started it as fun,but soon she started to love that name!!!!! whenever she tried to say him the truth,she was moved by herself when she heard him calling her gowri..but now…”it’s time to reveal naina…U have to speak up…U have to face it…
Naina :Karan!! Yeh such kah raha hei…. Mei GOWRI nahi…NAINA hei….
