Karan was stunned to hear that…He never thought that this will happen.. She…She lied to him…Karan didn’t say anything,that silence was more than sharp words,enough to wound naina’s heart.. Karan went from there. Naina went bhind him..
Jeevan :nai…
He was about to follow her,but meghna holds his hand. He turns and looks at her,and she,signs him NO.
Naina :Karan,pls.. Say something…Actually l.. I started it as fun.. But.. But I wasn’t able…Iwas afraid of ur reactions. Karan… Pls scold me.. I can bear anything except ur silence…
Naina was trying to lessen the shock through the way. But Karan didn’t looked back.. He moved straight …When he reached his courtese,he entered and tightly shut the door infront of Naina…Naina was crying.. She couldn’t bear it. She sat down near he door crying..
Nightcame so fastly…Naina was stil sitting there,crying…She was waiting for Karan to open the door.. Naina was very much worried for him. She was his only friend,his best friend…Because of whom he left the darkness…At least a step forward was taken by him.. Oh,how could she do this to him?
If She shouldn’t have stopped Dr. Dev on the very first day…This would have not at all happen. But she didn’t…If she said it when they started being friends then,this wouldn’t have happened. But the fact is that she couldn’t……

Karan opened his eyes when the light of sun fall on his face…The window is still open. The light came through that window which was opened by his friend. He hadn’t ever closed it till now…. But,she lied to him.. It was said when they were strangers,even he also lied. But the truth came out so fastly.. If they never met twice then she would also not be able to know the truth that his name is Karan.. They will remain in that lie…But here she was so easily converted into a friend from a stranger. How much easy it was,the revelation of truth was that much hard.. She may have started it for fun as he know how much dramatic she is…May be she just wanted to prank on him…But if it was confessed by herself,may be he won’t feel this much pain… but he came to know it from someone else…which made him hurt this much…”Forgive her Karan.. Don’t be this much angry over her..” Angry!!! Was he angry? No…He wasn’t angry.. It was something else..”she did this much for u…And u are not able to forgive her for a silly mistake…”silly???. His heart and mind was playing against each other.. When his mind said it was silly,his heart wasn’t ready to accept it…”Oh,leave it…Ok…First show her some attitude,let her confes her guilt which will make herself relieve. She may have reached here by now…Forgive her karan…”. Karan was trying to justify her to himself. He don’t know why but…He was doing it. Karan went straight to the door. He knew that she will come to the hospital early,for consoling him. But he didn’t knew that she was at his door,still. He opened the door and got shocked to see her leaned to the wall,sleeping. The way her tears made were still on naina’s cheeks. That scene was the most piercing arrow which wounded his heart. To say more than her name,it mattered for him,it pained his heart more than anything he suffered till that day…For the first time he assured that she is something more for him…than a friend.He made her cry…For tht he couldn’t even forgive himself..”Enough is enough…I can’t make her suffer more..”he took his gloves from his pocket and wore it.. He slowly wiped off the wetness from her face….. she opened her eyes whispering “KARAN”and saw him.
Naina :karan.. I…I am sorry..
Karan :Forget it gowri…I mean nai.. Naina..
Her happiness doesn’t have any borders.. And of her sudden reaction she hugged him tightly…His whole body got a sudden shiver in her warm hug..
She realised what she did and released him. But he still stunned,stayed there like a statue who wasn’t even able to figure out what happened……
Days passed away. But he wasn’t able to call her Naina…. Still it was impossible for him.. But our naina was there to kick off his difficulty.. She asked him to call her gowri.

One day,his birthday she gifted him an umbrella.
Naina :can l ask u something?
Karan:pata hei..
Naina :you are going to ask me to keep this with me always like ur picture.. Hena?
Naina :yeah…But how u got to know..
Karan :what u are going to ask?
He completed her question.
Karan : meri jhansi ki rani hamesha yahi maangthi hei,aur kuch nahi….
Naina :what?? Jhansi ki rani…I will kill u…
Naina’s picture drawn by Karan was given for framing it so that he could keep it with the other photos hanged on the wall.

Another fine day-
Naina was going to Karan’s courtese. It was evening and it was time for Karan to take medicines. Naina was just going to
check whether he had his medicines. She was reaching his courtese when she saw someone goung out of it.”strange!! a visitor for Karan?!”Naina felt that she saw him somewhere. So she followed him. She couldn’t see his face until he reached near a car announcing the name of “chauhan “. She saw the face and got to know that it is his father…Nk chauhan.. Naina gets shocked. She saw the car leaving and rushed to Karan’s courtese. When she entered the room she got another big shock. The same darkness which she removed from that room again captured it.. The windows are CLOSED…. She got frightned.. If again Karan’s confidence collapsed,then it will be difficult to built it again!!! Oh no….
She saw another scene which agin increased her fear.. The paintings,which were hanged before on the wall was now found to be broken…The pictures were gathered together and torned…For he first time in naina’s life she felt what’s anger and hatred…She completely broke down when she saw Karan lying down near the broken glass pieces…. Crying…Naina (wearing the gloves)touched his shoulder.
Naina :ka…Karan..
Karan :go away from me gowri.. Pls leave me alone.. U won’t get anything from this friendship.. I…I am a useless…
Naina’s heart aches as she hear him. She slowly cupped his face.
Naina :Karan…Just look into my eyes..
He looks.. Which made her see his eyes which were full red,and she again got hurt..
Naina :Karan…Tell me what happened….

A door bell rings. Karan was going to take medicines. He heard the bell and smiles as he is used to it…
Karan :lo…Aagayi jhansi ki rani. Beta Karan,jaldi se dawai le.. Nahi toh dramaqueen chodoonga nahi tujhe..
He was going to open the door,but stopped as he saw the mirror. He just looked into it,corrcted his hair and left with a smile. As soon as he opened the door his smile vanished..
Karan(hesitantly ) :aap!!
Nk:why?? Oh. Were u waiting for someone else?
Karan :why did u came here?
Nk:why? I am ur father na…The father of a useless like u…Oh u started opening the windows.. Good.. At least by watching through the windows u will get to know how the world looks like out of this room.
Karan :pls…Stop it..
Nk :oh! U started raising voice.. Ha ha…What a useless like u could do?.
Karan :l have told u….pls…. Stop this and LEAVE…otherwise..
Nk:otherwise…What will u do?(pointing to the paintings )yeh!! Sirf yeh kar saktha hei tu just this.. Playing with colours like kids.
Karan :enough.. Enough Mr. Nk chauhan.. You may leave now..
Nk(angrily):jis ladke ne aaj tak mujse aankein na mila raha dha.. Aaj voh mujhe naam kehkar pukar raha hei.. How dare you? Ashamed to say that you are my son.
Karan :even l am ashamed to say that u are my father..
Nk:just look at u.. What do u have? Just see ur brother.. Look at him…And compare to urself.. He is a successful,young upcoming business tycoon and u!!.. Just only a useless idiot fellow who is not even able to touch anyone.. You are a curse.. A curse to the whole chauhan family..
Karan was broken…shattered and shocked…He never thought that…He never ever thought that his father will say this…He kneed down.. Nk was fuming in anger.. He just started to destroy everything.. And he never forgot to break those paintings and to tore the pictures infront of Karan,which were the closest things to his heart.. Seeing Karan kneed infront of him,Nk passed a wicked smile and left the place….

Karan :gowri.. Why should l live in this world? There is nothing for me to be aimed for living…There is NO ONE in this world for whom should l recover…. Everyone hates me…I am a curse…Karan is a CURSE…..
Tears were flowing uncontrollably from naina’s eyes…She slowly left his face…Which made him again feel hurt. And she immediately left from there…Karan ever hadn’t thought that his gowri will leave him like this.. He thought that…She will console him.. But…”Does she also thinks that!!!!!!”…
