CHAPTER 59: You have killed Tia
“Don’t you dare put any false allegations on my sister”
Adhvik shouted with utmost anger…. His eyes were red as rage built inside him…. There was a moment of silence as his voice echoed in the living room of the Malhotra Mansion….
Ranveer and Abir did not react as they knew that all this was going to happen when they would question Pankhuri about Tia’s murder….
Mishti also kept quiet…. Abir had asked her to take rest but she did not want to leave him…. The fear of losing him was growing inside her….
Ishana looked at Arjun who was standing across the room asking him what was happening…. Arjun shook his head telling her he did not know this would happen…. Ishana felt sad thinking about how Arjun must be holding himself together….
Om observed the little conversation between Arjun and Ishana…. He did not understand what were they talking about but he could learn that Arjun and Ishana knew something….
Anika was standing with Prachi not knowing how to handle the situation…. Prachi was worried thinking about Arjun…. How much he would be getting hurt seeing all this…. Anika could feel Shivaay’s constant stare but did not dare to look at him….
Ranbir stood with Shivaay who was looking at everything with an expressionless face…. Ranbir could feel that something else was going on in Shivaay’s mind the way his gaze was fixed on nothing else but only Anika….
Rudra stood with Gauri and Soumya…. Gauri was worried for Arjun knowing that he must be breaking bit by bit from inside….
Pankhuri was sitting on the sofa as tears flowed from her eyes…. The moment she had feared the most had finally come and she knew she was going to lose everything and everyone….
Shaantanu and Naren stood beside Adhvik trying to calm down his anger….
Priyanka looked at Ranveer a few times but she knew she could not interfere at this point in time…. If Ranveer and Abir were saying this, they had definitely found something….
The other members of the Oberoi, Kapoor, Raichand and Malhotra family were standing not knowing how they were supposed to react to the new found information….
Ranveer: Look Mr. Malhotra, we are not putting any false allegations. We are saying what the evidences are telling us.
Shaantanu: And what evidences have you found that you are blaming my Di like this?
Abir: We have proofs that prove Ms. Malhotra was present there at the time of Tia’s murder and also her call records clearly show that she was in contact with Tia over the months.
Adhvik: So what if she was in the hotel and talked with Tia, that doesn’t mean that she, killed Tia.
Anika: Adhvik Bhai is right, just her presence at the place doesn’t prove that she killed Tia.
Ranbir, Prachi, Gauri, Ishana and Romi looked at Anika…. Didn’t she know the truth then why was she asking this question…. Prachi wanted to say something to Anika but Arjun signed her to keep quiet…. He knew if Anika had intervened then she had thought about it….
Ranveer: Well Ms. Raichand, you must be remembering the person who had attacked you a week before.
Shivaay: What about him? What does it have to do with Ms. Malhotra?
Anika looked at Shivaay for the first time in the past minutes…. Ranbir also observed the slight change in Shivaay’s expression when the thing concerned Anika, Shivaay could not mask his emotions…. However this time Shivaay turned his gaze away from her and hid his emotions again….
Abir: Well we checked the two pharmacies and guess what the bill that we found in that man’s hand also belongs to Ms. Malhotra. And we are not saying it because of only the CCTV footage but also because we checked the bill number with the pharmacist and it matched Ms. Malhotra’s bill.
Shekhar: What are you talking about, which attack and which pharmacy?
Anika: Papa….
Anika narrated the attack near the police station…. And then how they found the attacker dead in his house…. The bill they found in his hand…. The man had been stabbed in the same manner as Tia indicating that they were killed by the same person….
All were shocked with the new found information….
Anika signed Shekhar and Sumitra to not worry as she was fine…. Sumitra comforted Shekhar; she knew how much Shekhar could get concerned for Anika….
Gauri was surprised knowing that Anika was also attacked just like someone had tried to attack her…. Was their attacker the same, she wondered….
Ranveer: Ms. Malhotra, if you accept everything yourself, it would be better for everyone.
Adhvik: Why will she, my sister will not accept anything that she has not done?
Shaantanu: Yes, my Di will not accept anything she has not done.
Ranveer: Dekhiye, Mr. Malhotra, we understand but we have to take action according to protocols and….
Adhvik: And nothing, my sister will not go anywhere, mind it DCP, this is my house and I’ll not let anyone point a finger at my sister.
Abir: Mr. Malhotra, we are requesting you to cooperate otherwise we’ll have to take strict actions.
Ranveer: And also if she has not done anything, why are you all hesitating in letting us do some questioning? Hichikate toh wahi hai jinhone kuch galat kiya ho.
Shaantanu: You…. How dare you?
Shaantanu moved towards Ranveer but stopped in his tracks….
“ENOUGH…. STOP IT EVERYBODY…. JUST STOP IT….”
All of them became silent as Pankhuri shouted them to stop…. She stood up from her place and wiped her tears…. All were looking at her as she walked and stood in front of Ranveer and Abir…. Adhvik tried stopping her but she signed him to stop…. All eyes were fixed at her…. Arjun was staring at her not knowing what she was going to do…. Anika looked at her brother…. Prachi and Ranbir exchanged some looks…. Gauri and Ishana also looked at each other and then at Pankhuri…. There were moments of silence….. Pankhuri took a deep breath and said something that shocked everyone and all looked at her with surprise, disbelief, hurt and sadness….
Pankhuri: Yes, I have killed Tia…. I have killed her…. Also I only killed the man who attacked Anika….
Shaantanu and Naren looked at each other…. Adhvik closed his eyes and clenched his fingers into a fist…. Why did she do this…. He could have handled everything…. What was her need to interfere….
Arjun stumbled back but Shekhar and Sumitra supported him…. Arjun’s last hope also died with that confession….
Others were still silent trying to process the information they had just received….
Mrs. Kapoor was the first one to come out of her shock…. She looked at Pankhuri as rage filled her eyes…. It was not Tia’s death but the failure of her plans that made her angry…. She walked towards Pankhuri….
Mrs. Kapoor: Why, why did you kill my daughter?
Mrs. Kapoor pulled Pankhuri by her arm and made her face her…. She slapped Pankhuri hard…. All looked at the scene but none said anything…. Ranveer signed Priyanka to stop Mrs. Kapoor…. Priyanka nodded and looked at Janhvi…. Janhvi understood and they pulled Mrs. Kapoor away from Pankhuri….
Adhvik: Pankhu, what are you saying?
Pankhuri: Sach…. I am saying the truth Bhai….
Ranveer: Ab jab apne apna jurm qubool kar liya hai toh, ab apna motive bhi bata dijiye. Why did you kill Tia?
Pankhuri: I had my personal reasons and I don’t want to reveal it to anyone, all that matters now is I have killed her and I am confessing my crime, arrest me and get me punished. I don’t think anyone needs to know anything other than this.
This was something no one had expected to be the reason…. Already many shocking revelations were made and now this was something none had known about….
Mishti: Ms. Malhotra, not giving answers won’t help anyone.
Pankhuri: I know what people should know and what not, the important thing they need to know is when I got to know about her engagement with Shivaay, that is the day I decided I will not let her live in peace but why I did what I did is not important, well not anymore, now that Tia is dead, and nothing can change now….
The way Pankhuri spoke made everyone looked at her shocked…. They had never thought that she could be so cold hearted…. Her voice was devoid of all emotions….
Abir: But how did you kill Tia, there was so tight security because of the wedding?
Pankhuri: I had planned everything, I knew that I had to be very careful. I had gone to the hotel in the morning only to make sure my plan worked as thought, I even bribed a few security guards who broke the lock of Tia’s room’s window so that I could easily enter and exit. I had my eyes on Tia all along the day, when I found that she was alone in her room, I decided to execute my plan.
Pankhuri stopped and looked at Arjun but Arjun did not look at her….
Ranveer: Phir aage, what did you do then?
Pankhuri: When Tia entered the washroom, I entered the room through the window. She was getting ready while I hid in the room, once she was ready, I came out….
*Flashback to the night of Tia’s murder*
“You look pretty darling”
The voice sent shivers through Tia’s entire body…. She had recognized the voice and sweat beads formed on her forehead…. She slowly turned around and looked at the person…. Tia was shocked seeing Pankhuri holding a knife and walking towards her with an evil smirk…. Tia did not get any chance to do anything…. The knife was already in her body and blood was oozing out…. Pankhuri twisted the knife and Tia felt immense pain…. Tears flowed from her eyes…. Tia wanted to shout but her voice betrayed her…. Tia could feel the blood stream flowing out of her body onto her gown…. She touched her gown and her hand had her blood…. She looked at the person in front of her…. Pankhuri was smiling…. Pankhuri took out the knife and Tia fell down on the floor…. Tia could see Pankhuri smirking as she closed her eyes forever….
Then Pankhuri kept the knife near Tia’s body…. She had been wearing gloves so did not care about the fingerprints…. Also she knew no one ever doubt her for all this…. She then opened the door of Tia’s room and again hid in the room…. She wanted to see who would find Tia’s body first…. After sometime Gauri entered the room…. Pankhuri watched her keenly…. Gauri was shocked seeing Tia lying on the ground with blood around her…. Gauri moved back and hit the table with a jerk…. In that her jhumka fell down near the table and she ran out of the room…. As soon as Gauri left Pankhuri who had seen the jhumka falling picked it and put it near Tia’s body…. She quickly got out of the room before the families arrived….
*Flashback ends*
“So you have killed Tia”
The voice caught everyone’s attention and they turned towards the entrance surprised and shocked seeing the person….

Hello everyone, I hope you all are doing well.
Here is another chapter of the story, since I had some time and wrote this chapter, I thought to post it for you all, you all have been very patient with the story and have always supported me in the journey of this story, hence I thought to post the next two chapters on consecutive days as a thank you gift for you all.
So, Pankhuri is truth is out in the open, but the reason is yet to be revealed, the killer is found but how will the motive be known, will Pankhuri be able to hide her reasons, and is there more to the truth then they all have known.
Also, a very happy Holi to all of you, may this festival of colours fill your lives with colour of happiness, good health and lots of success.
