Chapter 40 (The mysterious Anand)
Twinj room
Twinkle entered the room and was settling her hair when Kunj came in and locked the door. Twinkle turned to look at him while Kunj said, “Tussi jaa rahe ho! Tussi na jao.” (You’re going? Don’t go na.) Twinkle looked at Kunj and started laughing. “It’s just for 10 days baby”, replied Twinkle laughing. Kunj walked towards her and pulled her closer by her waist. “Do you think it’s funny?”, asked Kunj. Twinkle nodded her head in a no trying to control her laughter but, soon she burst out laughing. Kunj frowned while Twinkle said, “Okay, I’m sorry.” “You won’t miss me?”, asked Kunj. Twinkle nodded her head in a no and said, “Why will I miss you! You’ll come there everyday na.” Kunj smiled and said, “Hmm.. Siyappa Queen has become intelligent.” Twinkle frowned and said, “Don’t call me that.” Kunj kissed her cheeks and said, “Pyaar se bulata hoon. Thik hai jaa, Maya ko jaa ke bulaunga.” (I address you that with love. Fine, I’ll go and call Maya.) “Go, call. Why are you standing here then?”, asked Twinkle. Kunj loosened his grip while Twinkle said, “You better stay in your limits.” “Don’t you think something is burning?”, asked Kunj. “Yes, let me go”, replied Twinkle. Kunj tightened his grip and pulled her close. “What is burning?”, whispered Kunj moving close to her ears. “How would I know? I need to go to the kitchen for that. Leave me”, replied Twinkle. “You don’t know?”, asked Kunj. Twinkle nodded her head in a no and pushed Kunj. Kunj lost his balance and fell on the bed with Twinkle on top of him. Twinkle’s hair covered her entire face. Kunj moved her hair and tucked it behind her ear. He wrapped his arms around her waist while Twinkle said, “Let me go.” Kunj kissed her forehead and nodded his head in a no. He rolled over and came on top of Twinkle. He kissed her lips while Twinkle reciprocated. It was a deep and passionate kiss. They pulled back after sometime while both of them smiled at each other. Twinkle unbuttoned Kunj’s shirt forgetting about the time while Kunj kissed her neck. He slid down the kurti from her shoulder and kissed her over there. Twinkle pushed Kunj and came on top of him. She kissed his bare chest while Kunj tightened his grip around her waist. His hands met with the zip of the salwaar. He unzipped the salwaar and as he was about to remove her salwaar there was a knock at the door. Kunj and Twinkle quickly stood up and composed themselves. Kunj went to open the door while Twinkle stood there blushing endlessly. Kavya came inside the room with a teddy and sat on the bed. “Hi mami”, said Kavya. “Mami won’t talk to you”, replied Twinkle. “Why?”, asked a confused Kavya. “You didn’t even talk to mami for once after you came”, replied Twinkle faking anger. “But you’re talking na”, said Kavya. Twinkle turned to look at Kavya who was smiling naughtily. She went to her and started tickling her. “Acha badmaash”, (Really you naughty head) said Twinkle. Kavya started laughing while Kunj smiled seeing them. After sometime Kavya kissed Twinkle’s cheeks and said, “I missed you.” “Aww.. I missed you too my baby”, replied Twinkle kissing her forehead. “What about me?”, asked Kunj. “Mami is better so, I missed only her”, replied Kavya. Twinkle showed her tongue to Kunj while he said, “But, mami is whose choice? So, that person should also get a hug na?” Kavya smiled and said, “Ofcourse.” She got up from the bed and walked towards Kunj. Kunj spread out his arms while Kavya walked past him and stood at the doorstep. “Nana-Nani (maternal grandparents) right!”, said Kavya and walked out of the room. Kunj stood there expressionless while Twinkle giggled to herself. She kissed Kunj’s cheeks and said, “It’s okay. Better luck next time.” As she was about to go Kunj held her wrist and said, “This one was much better.” Twinkle started blushing. Kunj walked towards her and zipped her salwaar. He moved her hair and kissed her neck. “One more?”, asked Kunj. Twinkle turned around and patted his shoulder. “You shameless, leave my hand”, said Twinkle. Kunj nodded her head in a no and moved closer to her. Twinkle pushed him on the bed and ran away. She stood at the doorstep and passed Kunj a flying kiss. Kunj enacted to catch it and placed it on his heart later laid down on the bed trying to show that he was dying for the kiss. Twinkle laughed and went down.
Corridor
Rahul was busy talking on the phone when Twinkle came from behind and snatched away the phone. She giggled listening to the talks while Rahul tried taking the phone. Mahi came and asked, “What’s happening?” Twinkle covered the earpiece and said, “Di, devar ji is talking to his fiance. I’m just listening what they’re talking.” “Put the phone on speaker”, said Mahi excitedly. Rahul tried snatching the phone while Twinkle and Mahi ran away. “Take it if you can”, shouted Mahi and Twinkle together. “Bhabhi, please. You both are so sweet. Let me talk na”, said Rahul panting. “Oye, makhan mat laga”, (Don’t butter) said Mahi. They started running while Rahul chased them. Mahi threw the phone to Twinkle and she put it on speakers. “Ya, ya Kritika. We all are here”, said Twinkle panting. “Rahul, why do you sound like Twinkle di?”, asked Kritika. Mahi started laughing and said, “It’s her only.” Rahul snatched the phone from Twinkle’s hand and said, “I’ll call you later.” Mahi snatched the phone and said, “No, talk. I also want to know how my devar ji and her fiance talk.” Rahul disconnected the call and said, “Huh! You all are very bad.” Rahul walked back to his room while Twinkle and Mahi burst out laughing.
Anik’s room (Anand and Nikita)
Twinkle entered the room with a jug of water while Anand was busy talking on the phone. He smiled at Twinkle while Twinkle kept the jug of water on the side table. Twinkle was about to go when Anand said, “Ofcourse sweetheart.” Twinkle turned around to look at him. Anand covered the earpiece and said, “My colleague’s daughter.” Twinkle smiled at him and as she was about to go Kavya entered the room. “Papa, whom are you talking to?”, asked Kavya. “I’m talking to Nisha aunty”, replied Anand. Twinkle turned around and looked at him while he said, “My colleague.” Twinkle felt it wierd but smiled at him and walked out. She stood outside the room and said, “Did Anand bhaiya lie that time or now he lied. No, why will he lie!” She shrugged her shoulders and walked away.
Evening
Mall
Everyone was busy shopping when Anand received a call and he excused himself. He picked up the call and was shocked after talking to the person. He went to Nikita and said, “I need to go for the time being. Take this card, it’ll help you in making the payments.” Nikita took the card while Anand rushed out of the shop. He quickly went out of the mall and took a cab. The driver drove to the directed place and after around 20 minutes he reached the place. He paid the cab driver and quickly went towards a mansion. The gate had a name plate which stated “N. Singhania”. He rushed inside and rang the bell several times. A girl in her late 20’s opened the door. She was a wearing a blue coloured knee-length frock. Anand stood at the door and said, “You’re perfectly fine Nisha.” “Ofcourse I am. I just said that so that you come here. It’s been almost a day since you’ve come to India and you haven’t even met me”, replied Nisha. “I told you I’ll come soon. We were out for shopping today”, said Anand. Nisha pulled Anand inside and closed the door. She wrapped her arms around his neck while Anand stood there confused. “Come on, don’t be a spoil sport Anand”, said Nisha. Anand smiled and touched his forehead with hers. They rubbed their noses and stood there smiling.
