“what glow you are talking about,I don’t understand Di?” trying to hide her face behind the open doors of the cupboard, she said lowly.
“don’t hide yourself My darling… that’s visible,” referring to the glowing face Kasturi again teased her sister.
“now I feel a kind of settlement Di, earlier I was in suspicion of what was about to happen and then when… but now I have no worries.” she had actually felt a resting feeling inside her heart last night.
Every night whether she wanted or not the uncertain feeling of the lingering relationship troubled her, a sure but shallow future scared her but now her heart was at ease.
“i can understand that feeling sister, life has been so harsh with all of us but now try going with the moment.” Kasturi cheered her up.
“yeahh.” arching her lips in a small smile Twinkle continued marinating the mushrooms.
“i think we need more onions from the storeroom…wait I am coming.” suddenly Kasturi said and within seconds she was gone.
“but we already have a basket full here,Di!” gesturing towards the basket of onions Twinkle answered but her sister was gone.
“i think Kavya should eat something…” his voice caused her fingers to stop for a while.
So this was the reason her sister went away.
“oh… one minute,” cleaning the sauce mix from her fingers she looked up.
the kohled eyes with a tinge of blush on her cheeks she was radiating with something new in her demeanor.
The yellow color long kurta was adding so much to her glow, and her hair swayed and came to a side as she turned to open the fridge.
Sitting the girl on the kitchen plate-form he took the rest of the same and stared her fiancé as she got herself busy in warming the milk and making the powder mix.
“The weather here is very pleasant, also the air is so fresh.” he still didn’t know why it was so tough to initiate a talk with her.
“Sorry…” she turned to him and stared him like she didn’t hear him at all.
She felt so awkward for not hearing what he said actually all the time she was busy in this shy moment.
“i had a good sleep last night,” he said turning his attention to the little girl who has picked up something in her little fingers.
“oh” she sighed…I mean that’s good.” releasing the wrong emotion she corrected herself hastily.
“coffee or something…? she asked as she kept the little bowl in front of him.
“no… I’ll feed her.” he bent to take the little girl in his hands.
“where is your ring?” his question shocked her for a moment.
“i put it here because …” she searched the spot but the ring was missing.
“here it is, Kavya was liking it so much.” with a little smile he extended the ring.
“it becomes uneasy to work with…” with that she took the ring.
“no issues…I understand.” he calmed her nerves who got nervous all of a sudden.
“Kunj… she called him as he was about to cross the kitchen door.
“the dry mushroom bolls… I had kept aside for you.” keeping the little plate on the plate form near him she looked down.
“well.. thank you but my hands are full.” with a naughty thought his eyes beamed.
Her eyes shied away with the unsaid request but biting the insides of her lower lips she moved to him with the bowl.
The shivering hands pushed one delicacy to his lips and he took it quietly but someone else giggled and nearly jumped to her side to get the next piece for her only.
“hey princess… so you want to eat too.” and with that, he rested on the wall and filling the spoon-fed her.
Seeing him involved with the baby she thought to complete her works when her words stopped her.
“the plate is still full and so are my hands…”
Today she was not going to avoid the romantic airs which have just started blowing in the kitchen.

“Girls… are you done with the work I have given you or whether you two have decided NO-LUNCH?” their mother peeped inside the kitchen and asked in a hushed voice.
“you guys came this soon… I thought you two were going to take a little more time.” Kasturi winked eyeing Twinkle.
“we are done Ma, just fulkas are needed to be done.” Twinkle completed before Kasturi said something.
“okay then, come soon with some sweets and water,” ordering them their mother left the kitchen.
“so what changed in a day my sister?” Kasturi teased her sister.
“nothing…his hands were full so..” Twinkle defended herself.
“haan haan..I get sister, I get it.” kasturi sang and irritated her.
“di….and by the way I know you had purposely left us alone in the kitchen.” Twinkle snapped back.
“twinkle…come soon dear.” their mother called her breaking their about-to-happen fight scene.

“but Ma, cant we wait for a few months?” Twinkle nearly sobbed.
“we can Twinkle but what is the need … today or after a few months later we have to do this then why can’t today.” her mother tried explaining her.
“i know Ma but suddenly… I needed time to accept myself as someone else’s wife” her words died in her throat as her mother in law entered the room.
“it is okay my daughter… I just want the wedding to be done in this stay, I will come later to take you as my daughter in law,” Uma told her lovingly.
She very well understood Twinkle’s heart and she knew her condition in all these sudden happenings.
“and you also think na, what is the need to delay the rituals when it has to be done…Every-time I’ve delayed the decisions someone has repented so this time I just don’t want to delay this and I am telling you na I will come after Durga pooja to take my Kunj’s wife.” with sheer genuinity and love her mother in law spoke sitting beside her and she could not deny the lady who wanted only good for her.
“okay Bebe…” with that she gave her agreement one more time.
“so bhabhi,I think lets do the rituals this Wednesday only,” Uma asked suggestively.
“as you say Bhabhi…” with a smile Twinkle’s mother got up and kissed her daughter’s head.
How beautiful and sad situation it is for a daughter’s mother at the same time, she is happy for her daughter’s new life but sad for now her daughter has to leave their house.
