The Episode starts with Saleem getting the sweets. He compliments Vaiju. Kaveri says Vaiju’s fate will be decided by Lord. Aai comes home. She says I have got blessings from Nandi. Vaiju says I want your blessings first. Saleem gets a call from the groom’s family. He asks what, listen to me once. He says they aren’t coming. Vaiju gets sad. Saleem says they didn’t like this alliance, they don’t want to see Vaiju. Kaveri says I knew it, the entire village knows that guy’s family rejects her. The girls ask Vaiju not to lose hope. Kaveri asks them to go home.
Vasundara comes to Rao Sahab. He says I m the Sarpanch of the village, you are just my wife, you have the desire to sit on the throne. She says you know it well, you are the Sarpanch because of your wife. They argue. She taunts
Aai consoles Vaiju. Ranvijay thinks of Jaya. Jaya is at her workshop. She calls home. Vaiju recalls her wedding breaking. She returns the sacred thread to Saleem and goes. Aai looks on and cries. She eats the chilli powder by mixing it in rice. She regrets her actions.
Some men come to the painting workshop and trouble the girls. The men go to Jaya and tease her. Ranvijay comes there. He beats the goons. He gets the hairpin back from the guy. Vaiju thinks of whatever happened. She cries and ploughs the field. Ranvijay asks Jaya’s name. She refuses to say. He says I will find it out. He hears her friend calling her Jaya. He says Jaya, you and your name are beautiful. The guy asks did any earthquake come here. Ranvijay says I m Jaya’s friend, Ranvijay. Jaya says some misbehaving men came and Ranvijay taught them a lesson. The guy introduces himself as Jaya’s friend Kishor. He invites Ranvijay in his birthday party. Jaya says you don’t even know him. Kishor says I liked him, we don’t know if he will come or not.
Jaikant comes to Vaiju’s field. He recalls their match. He proposes a land deal. He says 100 acres land belongs to Vasundara, your one acre land has come between the huge plot, Vasundara wants to buy your land. Vaiju says this field isn’t on sale. They argue. Pandit ji shows the girls’ pictures to Vasundara. She rejects all the girls. He asks her what type of girl does she like. Vaiju says my land is my pride, and pride isn’t on sale. Jaikant says Vasundara doesn’t like to hear no. He asks Aai to explain her daughter. Vaiju says I will not sell this field, leave. Jaikant says I know how to teach you a lesson. She threatens to kill him and bury him. Jaikant gets angry. Aai stops Vaiju and asks her to do her work. Jaikant drops some alcohol on the seeds sack and burns it. Aai looks on and shouts. Vaiju turns to see the seeds burning.
Vasundara says I want such a girl who should make you proud. Vaiju runs to save the seeds. Vasundara says someone who doesn’t lose her patience even in tough times, whose Dharm is her duty towards the land, I don’t expect any money or dowry, I want a girl who is like soil. Vaiju puts off the fire. Vasundara says I want an Annapurna for my family and village. Vaiju says they have to answer this. Pandit says there is one girl as you wanted. He gets Vaiju’s pic and says Vaiju will become Vasundara’s Annapurna.
