Mahabharat 19th March 2014 Written Episode, Mahabharat 19th March 2014 Written Update
Episode begins with Jarasandh performing a Shiv pooja, with Duryodhan, Karna, Dushasan and Shakuni also present. Jarasandh explains that Karna is the only problem he has with Shakuni’s proposal.
Jarasandh wants to make Karna a King again so that he will be loyal to him. Karna says he doesn’t want to take up the responsibility of a kingdom again. Jarasandh believes this was Shakuni’s plan to keep a good warrior independent and able to carry out his orders instead of Jarasandh’s orders.
Duryodhan is worried and Karna asks him not to give any orders which will place burden on him again. Shakuni says it is important to stop Karna as Vasudev is on his way to attack Magadh.
Krishna, Arjun and Bhima are on their way to Magadh with the army of Indraprastha.
Duryodhan meets with Karna. He apologises for the time he called him a Sutputra. Karna says he is not angry as Vrushali told him not to take his birth as an insult. Duryodhan says he ends up doing a lot of adharm, but Karna says that his path is wrong but not his reasoning behind it. Karna believes that Duryodhan is fighting against injustice.
Duryodhan says that once he gets justice he will be able to walk on the path of dharma. Duryodhan begs for Karna to stay by his side so that he doesn’t fall into doing more adharma and so that Shakuni’s plan is successful.
Karna remembers the day of the competition and his last meeting with Vrushali. Karna accepts Duryodhan’s order and decides to become a king again.
Krishna stops his chariot and Arjun asks what is wrong. Krishna explains that Shakuni is very intelligent and has changed his plan. Krishna says they won’t be able to use the army to attack but reminds Bhima of his wrestling training as a child. Krishna says they will have to go to Magadh as Brahmins.
In Magadh, Jarasandh is ready to sacrifice 100 kings to Mahadev. Dushasan arrives and tells Shakuni that the Pandavas were on their way to Magadh but they suddenly changed their path. Shakuni wonders what Krishna is up to now.
Krishna, Arjun and Bhima arrive dressed as brahmins. Jarasandh is about to kill the first king but Krishna calls out to him. Krishna says his friend Vrikodar is ready to challenge you to a wrestling match, but Jarasandh says he is busy with his sacrifice.
Krishna makes fun of Jarasandh for rejecting the match and says we have won. Jarasandh doesn’t like this and comes and challenges Bhima to lift his foot before daring to challenge him to a wrestling match.
Bhima asks which leg should I lift? Jarasandh tells him not to be so arrogant, but Bhima says he has come to Magadh to lift both his legs. Bhima laughs and lifts both of Jarasandh’s legs out from under him. Jarasandh is shocked at being thrown on the floor, Shakuni looks confused.
Jarasandh recognises Krishna, who tells him that Bhima is ready to fight with him. Jarasandh agrees to the fight.
Precap: Bhima and Jarasandh are wrestling in the river. Bhima tears Jarasandh in half, but the two halves of his body join together again.
