The ladies demand Janvi to leave. Meanwhile, she notices a kid putting his hand into a table fan just as a man is about to switch it on. Janvi quickly pulls the child to safety, and the child’s mother thanks her.
Kian hands the birth certificate to Pushkar. Janvi tries to stop Kian, but Pushkar intervenes and
takes the birth certificate from Kian. As this happens, Janvi’s saree gets caught in the table fan. She calls for Pushkar’s help, but he ignores her, focused on the birth certificate.
Aryaman, noticing Pushkar’s indifference to Janvi’s distress, steps in. He grabs the birth certificate from Pushkar and uses a tablecloth to cover Janvi, then untangles her saree from the fan. Aryaman scolds the women for questioning a mother who has raised a child alone, saying it’s the father’s fault if he isn’t present in the child’s life. Pushkar confronts Aryaman, asking who he is to interfere in Janvi’s matters. Aryaman replies that he acted out of humanity. He then manhandles Pushkar for not helping Janvi and being more concerned about the birth certificate. Janvi asks Aryaman to stop, and he releases Pushkar. Aryaman hands the birth certificate to Dadi. Dadi and Reva then escort Janvi away. Aryaman reflects that he came to question Janvi about a pottery receipt but ended up saving her.
Dadi examines Kian’s birth certificate and sees Janvi’s name listed as the birth mother. She questions Janvi about it. Janvi explains that Anushka used her name to hide her pregnancy, so her name appears on the certificate and medical records. Dadi asks why Janvi was so worried when Pushkar took the birth certificate. Janvi reveals there was a photo of a pregnant Anushka in the envelope. Dadi realizes this photo could reveal the truth and burns it. Kian apologizes to Janvi, thinking he failed to make her day special. Janvi reassures and cheers him up.
Aryaman asks Muralidhar why he saved Janvi instead of questioning her about the receipt. Muralidhar suggests he did it for Kian’s sake, and Aryaman agrees. Aryaman later notices a phone number on the receipt and calls it. A mysterious person answers, saying he will come to the hotel to collect the rest of the money and will be holding a mud pottery piece. He mentions he will attend the Sen Gupta’s Sangeet and tells Aryaman to prepare the money. Aryaman realizes this person is the attacker who targeted Brij Bhushan and decides to catch him at the Sangeet.
Aryaman notices his name isn’t on the guest list for the Sangeet. He overhears Sadhu and Janvi discussing their need for Dhanuchi dancers and volunteers for the job. Sadhu accepts and gives him the role.
