Nandini joined everyone for lunch…only the seat beside manik was empty..so she sat beside him…everyone started their lunch…
Nyonika : umm..guys..I’ve arranged a small welcome party for all of u..only family members,some imprtnt business partners & some frnds will come..so b ready by evening…
Nandini : mom..what was the need of all this?!
Nyonika : it was necessary nandini..& yeah.. It’s also to celebrate our new partnership with vedant’s…
Mukti : cool mom..sounds interesting..
Nyonika : cabir..I need ur help in the arrangements..
Cabir : don’t worry aunty..I’ll arrange everything..
Everyone finished their lunch & went to their respective rooms… Whole day nandini avoided to meet manik..she thought what will she say if manik again ask her the same question !
Manik’s POV :
When I asked nandini about the surnames, her facial expression chng in horror…as if she saw some ghost..she avoided me the whole day..I didn’t know such small ques can terrified her so much ! I wonder what was she trying to hide from me ?! What is the secret of her ?! The more I think I know her..the more she becomes mysterious…yes manik..u’ve fall for a mysterious girl who has too many secrets..I wonder when I’ll b able to say that I know my nandini inside & out !!

It’s evening.. Everyone get ready for the party…nandini was wearing a black gorgeous saree which suited her perfectly…she curled the bottom side of her hair & applied some make up with red lippy…she was looking hot & also very pretty…
Manik was wearing a blue shirt with black blazer & black jeans..his hair was perfectly jelled up & had bracelet & watch in his hand..any girl will skip a beat after watching this killer look of his..
All guests started to arrive..nandini took a last look on the mirror & left from the room…
She went near the staircase & looked at the guests..she saw manik standing with nyonika & others…her heart started to beat fast watching manik..she checked him top to bottom & was mesmerized watching him…
Manik was talking to others when he overheart some guest’s conversation saying – ‘ look..nandini is looking so beautiful…isn’t she??’
Manik followed their gaze & saw nandini coming down…he was just lost in her beauty… He couldn’t take his eyes from her…he just wanted to steal her from the party & spend his all moments with her only…
Both shared an eyelock… Nandini came to Manik…
Manik : u r..looking very pretty..
Nandini blushed..
Nandini : thank u…
Nyonika : nandini..my daughter is looking fabulous today..come kids..I want to introduce u with some guests…
Nyonika took them with her & introduced them with some of her frnds & business partners.. All were complimenting Nandini..some male persons were even checking her out which irked Manik… He felt possessive towards her…
He pulled nandini into a corner…
Nandini : manik..what r u doing ??
Manik : see..how those idiots were checking u out..
Nandini : oh..so??
Manik : so means?? How dare them to look at u in such manner !
Nandini : hmm..something is burning…
Manik : what? What is burning??
Nandini : may b someone’s heart !!
Manik : shut up..don’t assume things..ok??
Nandini : ok…
Manik : I was trying to protect my frnd…
Nandini : yeah.. I know…
Manik : good…
Manik left from there making irritate face which made nandini giggle…
Cabir went to announcement…
Cabir : hello Ledis & gentleman.. Let’s make our party a bit exciting.. Itz tym couple dance.. So I rqst all the couples to join for couple dance…
Everyone clapped & cheered…..all the couples went to dance floor..
Nandini remembered her & manik’s couple dance & became numb..manik went to nandini & offered his hand..
Manik : may I have the honour to dance with this beautiful lady standing in front of me??
Nandini smiled at him & gave her hand into manik’s hand…both went to dance floor…all this while nandini was remembering their moments…

(Manik twirled her once & pulled her close.. her back collided with manik’s front..)

(Manik pulled her close..this tym nandini was facing manik’s front…Manik kept his both hand on her waist & manik kept her both hand on his chest…)

(Both were dancing in that state lost in each other’s eyes as if both were expressing their pain through their eyes…nandini’s eyes were numb & manik was trying to read her pain in her eyes…)

(Nandini left him & was about to go but manik held her hand stopping her from leaving..nandini turned & looked at him..)

(Manik pulled her close by her waist & twirled her ..then he hugged her from back & moved according to the music looking at each other’s eyes..)
Everyone hooted & clapped for the couples loudly….Manan left each other…Nandini was feeling emotional so she left from there…
She went to a corner & saw her picture with manik in her mbl & remembered their moments.. When silent tears were coming out of her eyes…
She wiped her tears immediately when she heard Navya’s voice calling nandini…
Navya : nandini..u r here?! I was searching for u…
Nandini : why ? What happened??
Navya : woh..do u remember our school frnd ishana?? She is also here..
Nandini : really???
Navya : yeah..
Nandini : great !! Let’s meet her…
Nandini left with navya..they met a girl which was their school frnd…while talking with her Nandini felt thirsty… She excused herself & started to search something to drink..she saw a glass was kept on the table with some drink.. She thought it might b cold drink & drank it fully…
Manik was searching for nandini in the whole party..he asked navya & navya said nandini left saying she was feeling thirsty & haven’t come back yet…manik felt tensed for her…she searched her in the whole house…suddenly he heard someone laughing in the pool area…
He went there & saw nandini sitting near the pull & continuously laughing…
Manik : nandini..what r u doing here??
Nandini : manik !!! OMG !!! U r here?!!!
Manik : nandini…r u ok?? Why r talking lyk this??!
Nandini : haaww manik !! Now u have prblm with my talking style too?!!! Not fair…
She made a cute angry pout crossing her hand near her chest & manik was just awwee on her…suddenly reality hit his mind & he realised nandini is out of her sense…
Manik : Nandini..what did u drank??
Nandini : nothing !! Just a soft drink which was soooooooo yummy !!!!
Manik palmed his face…
Manik : nandini…u r gd girl r8?? Come with me..
Nandini : I can go with u wherever u want manik..let’s goooo !!!
Manik held her hand & took her to her room very carefully so that no one could notice her in that state..
Nandini : manik..r we playing hide & seek???

Manik was shocked after listening that…

Nandini : yeah..marry..I’m Mr. Manik Malhotra’s only one wife Mrs Nandini Malhotra… & I love my manik a loootttt…
Manik was beyond shock this tym..he whispered – manik malhotra !!

Nandini went near manik who was standing numb & cupped his face…

Manik was continuously looking at her eyes trying to feel the pain which was she going through till now…
Nandini left his face & made a sad pout..

Nandini was about to fall losing her balance but manik held her…
Manik : nandini..careful..
Nandini : no manik..I don’t need to b careful..bcz I know u r always there with me..to protect me..to shine for me…
Manik smiled at her with tears in his eyes & Nandini hugged him saying ‘I love you manik !’ Manik also hugged her back…
