Scene 1
Soumya says this is an attempt to murder. You tried to kill my child. I will send you to jail. You could have killed me too. Kusum says please don’t do this. She asks Adit to stop Soumya. He says at least I thought you’d help me today. It’s my child as well. I will never forgive her. How can you support her on such a disgusting thing? She should pay for what she has done. I will sue this whole hospital and everyone who is involved. He goes out. Kusum cries, she says why did you do this Mangal? Police will arrest you. I won’t let this happen. I will tell Adit before he does anything. Mangal says you can’t tell anyone. Kusum says you came here to stop me. I can’t let you be blamed Mangal says you cant do that. Kusum says don’t do this, please. She cries. Mangal says don’t worry about me. I have nothing to lose but Adit will lose respect for you as a smother if you do this. He cares about you. He’d be broken if he realized you did this. I can’t let him lose faith in motherhood. she says because of me you got accused. Mangal says it’s okay we will face whatever happens.
Scene 2
Jiya calls Gayatir. She says you have to fuel this fire and burn Lakshmi in it. You have to burn their marriage. Gayatri says you did it before I thought, I would handle Karthik. Karthik comes and says who are you talking to? She says I was arranging a pooja for you and Lakshmi. If a couple does a pooja there they get good news soon. Karthik says what are you saying? How can you say such things? I don’t wanna do any pooja. Gayatri says I don’t know why is he acting this way. I will talk to him.
Scene 3
Soumya calls the inspector and says someone tried to abort my child. The inspector says to send your pregnancy details here. We have to verify first. Soumya says you have to help me instead of investigating. The inspector says why can’t you send the report? Adit gets mad at the hospital. He speaks to the manager. Adit says I will get this hospital shut. Soumya has already called the police. Kusum says Soumya please forgive. Please. Adit says stop it amma. Can’t you see what she has done? Adit asks Soumya when is police coming. She says I don’t wanna involve the police. What is the difference between me and Mangal? I feel motherhood in me. Gayatri asks Karthik why did you get so irritated by child’s wish. He says a person can marry on compromise but a child is a huge responsibility for both parents. They need ot have love in between. Lakshmi and my marriage was based on compromise. I can’t think about kids. She asks do you have any feelings for Jiya? He says not at all. Lakshmi hears the first part nad leaves. She thinks Karthik has feelings for Jiya. Karthik says only Lakshmi is in my life. I just want to give our marriage time. I don’t wanna make her uncomfortable. She is a very simple girl. I don’t want to rush her into anything. Lakshmi goes downstairs crying.
Scene 5
Adit comes home. He asks Soumya to rest in her room. He says I will get you milk. I can’t expect anyone to take care of you here. She says my child’s life is in danger. My child was threatened. What was my child’s fault? I am not your legal wife. My child will always be questioned. He says don’t stress over it. She says what name would my child have? People will question my child. Will my child ever have a normal life? What is the solution? Mangal says there is a solution.
LLakshmi looks at Karthik. She wonders if she should speak to Karthik. Lakshmi says you said to maa our marriage is acompromisee. Do you believe it? I felt like our bond was real. I started considering you my oerson. I didn’t know you didn’t have any feelings for me. Do you still love Jiya? She realizes he’s asleep.
Mangal says the solution is that Adit and I takgetal divorce you both should get married. Kusum says what are you saying? Mangal says everything has changed. We don’t need to be in this forced marriage. Our kids are old, they will understand. This child needs a family too. I sholdd better leave from here. It will make everyone’s life easy. She asks Adit to prepare divorce papers. She will sign them.
