Adit says I can’t marry Lakshmi. Mangal says what did you say? Karthik and Gayatri are shocked. Mangal is speaking on the phone. Mangal asks Gayatri if she has hair pins. Gayatri gives her the pins. Mangal says to Karthik I am very happy today. She leaves. Gayatri says stop all this Karthik, Tell me one reason why I should break this engagement. You will be happy with Lakshmi. I have made up my mind. Only she will be my DIL. Gayatri leaves. Karthik says I’ve only one option, Lakshmi.
Karthik calls Lakshmi, and Kusum picks up the call. Karthik says Lakshi I need to talk to you. please come near my room. Our drama isn’t working out. Kusum says what drama? He says mausi you? She says Lakshmi’s phone is on charging. She’s getting ready. You will meet her

Ishana brings the rings. Gayatri asks them to exchange the rings. Karthik says maa you’re being hasty. What if Lakshmi is doing this under pressure? Gayatri asks Lakshmi if you make Karthik wear the ring I will feel like you filly accepted the relationship. Lakshmi makes him wear the ring.
