The cooking competition begins with Mangal checking the ingredients. Adit comments to Eisha that Mangal only knows how to cook Indian food, not continental. As Mangal wonders what to cook, she recalls her son teaching her the names of famous dishes from various countries. Due to an injury, Mangal struggles to peel potatoes. Christina mocks her, calling her efforts a waste of time, but Mangal calmly tells her to focus on her own dish. Steve notices Mangal’s injury and offers to help. Adit insists on assisting her, declaring, “It’s Team India.” Steve agrees, but Christina demands a helper too, claiming it’s unfair otherwise. Mangal allows it, saying she doesn’t mind as long as things are fair.

Christina mentions that she has already researched an Indian dish, which Eisha

relays to Mangal. As Adit helps peel potatoes, Mangal shows him how, and he admits he’s never done such tasks at home. Meanwhile, Sowmya discreetly adds medicine to the prasad she’s preparing. As Mangal and Christina stay busy with their cooking, Adit notices Mangal struggling with a strand of hair and helps her adjust it. Curious, he asks what she’s making. Mangal reveals she’s cooking steak but mentions she’ll make it vegetarian by preparing it in butter. For dessert, she’s making carrot cake. When the microwave malfunctions, she uses a cooker instead. Adit is surprised by her ingenuity, and Mangal teasingly remarks that there’s much he doesn’t know.

Sowmya, feigning piety, convinces Kusum to eat the tampered prasad. Meanwhile, Adit accidentally burns his hand on the cooker, and Mangal tends to him, earning Eisha’s admiration. Despite the challenges, they finish cooking on time. The judges taste both dishes and declare Mangal the winner. Upset, Christina plots against her. As Mangal approaches to collect her trophy, Christina throws a bill near her feet, accusing her of cheating. She claims Mangal used store-bought ingredients, but Mangal and Adit vehemently deny the allegations.

Jia is stunned to see Lakshmi in a strange place and questions her presence. Lakshmi appears disoriented, unable to explain how she got there. To everyone’s shock, Kartik’s family also arrives. Lakshmi finds her mother Gayathri’s heels nearby and grows concerned. Security informs them it’s a restricted area and denies seeing anyone but mentions hearing a woman’s screams. Umesh dismisses Lakshmi’s concerns, suggesting her mother might have gone to the temple.

The situation takes a darker turn when the auto driver who had Gayathri’s phone arrives. He reveals that he dropped her somewhere else, not at the temple. Lakshmi becomes convinced something bad has happened, recalling a prior attack on her. Umesh decides to file a police complaint, but Raghuveer warns that they must wait 24 hours to avoid alerting the culprit. Lakshmi worries about Kartik’s reaction to the news.

Meanwhile, Jia discovers that Gayathri’s disappearance hasn’t made it to the news. She contacts Sanjana, who confirms they are investigating Gayathri’s phone. Jia schemes to destroy the phone and later sneaks into Gayathri’s room. As she retrieves the phone, she is horrified to see a photo burn spontaneously and is confronted by Gayathri’s ghost. Terrified, Jia runs away, refusing to believe the apparition is real. But as she turns, she is shocked to see Lakshmi standing before her.
