Scene 1
Adit asks Mangal you can go but can’t take my kids. She says how? he says you can’t take away my kids. She says I took a house near this house because I know they’d need both parents. You can meet them. This is the only way. He says you’d keep provoking them. She says do you have a way? He says the kids will stay here. She says I’d go and the kids will stay with me. You asked me to leave. He says you can leave. Adit sas don’t ever come to this house again. He closes the door on her. Kusum stops him and opens the door. She says this is my house. I will decide who lives here. She says Mangal come in. She says Mangal you can always come here when you want. She says how low will you stoop? You can’t part kids from their mother. They’d hate you. Kids can’t let you insult their mother. You will lose them forever. I request you let this be cordial. Don’t show this side of yours to kids. She asks Mangal to go and packs the kid’s things.
Scene 2
Karthik coughs. Lakshmi comes there. He says can you make tea for me? Lakshmi says yes. She hears Jiya talking on call. She turns on the speaker. Karthik says on call you’re still in my heart. I married like because Ma asked me. Now I am stuck. I wish you were my wife. Lakshmi cries upon hearing this. She leaves.
Scene 2
The kids and Magnal leave the house. They meet Kusum and Sudesh. Akshar says Dadi and dadu would also come and stay with us. Kusum says we would. Mangal hugs them both. Sudesh and Kusum cry and give her blessings. Mangal asks the kids to meet Adit. Ishana and Akshar hug Adit. They leave with Mangal. Soumya gets happy. She says now Adit and this house is mine. Mangal and the kids leave.
Lakshmi and Karthik fight. Lakshmi says why did you lie to me? You still love Jiya. Karthik says to think about what you want. I don’t care. He leaves in anger. jiya and Gayatri get happy listening to their fight. Karthik goes for rehearsals. Jiya goes with him. She plays music. Karhtik says I need peace. I don’t want music. She says I feel like Lakshmi is getting too nosy. She’s doubting a man like you. You guys a poles apart. This is how doubtful these middle-class girls are. He says you’re right.
Scene 3
Magnal and the kids come home. Shanti and Kusum come with her. Kusum says you set it up so well. Shanti says you’re so bright. You did it all on your own. I hope you always succeed. Mangal hugs her. She says thank you for coming here with her. She says this is a big day for you. I am so proud. Kusum says both your daughters have a new chapter starting. Mangal makes tea for Kusum and Shanti.
Soumya says to Adit she is taking off from the office. We’d be at peace. She says we should go on a date. Adit sees kids playing. He gets emotional. He says Akshar. Soumya says I am talking to you. He says you only think about yourself. Do you know how I feel? She says I made this plan to take you away from stress. I know you’re stressed by why should our child pay. He says you’re right. We should go out for dinner. I will meet you at the restaurant.
Ishana and Mangal set up the curtains together. The light goes off. Mangal lights upp candle. Adit comes there with cake. He says it’s my kids’ new house. We should have a warming party. I got you guys cake. We should order dinner. Ishana says we had dinner already and Akshar slept. Mangal says, Ishana. Adit says I can talk to my kids. Adit says I got a gift from you. You wanted this sneaker, right? Do you like it? This is your new house gift. Ishana ignores him and fixes the curtains. Adit helps her. He says I know you’re upset with me but it’s not easy. I am your dad and will always be. I want to give you all the happiness. She says if Soumya calls you right now you’d leave us right away. You’ve always done that. You hurt us and our mom. Ishana leaves. She starts painting.
Soumay comes home. She says where is Adit? He made me wait for an hour at the cafe. Adit helps Ishana paint. He asks her what designs she has in mind. Soumya calsl her. Adit turns off his phone and paints with her.
