Scene 1
Karthik asks Lakshmi what was written in that letter. Mangal says say it Lakshmi if Karthik is asking. Shanti says now I am not doing any drama. Lakshmi’s wedding has all the drama in every event. Lakshmi says I remember every word of that letter. I read it myself. I understood every mention. He wrote it with so much love, I read it every day. he wrote Lakshmi I wanted to talk to you in person. We didn’t get a chance to meet and talk. I want to know your heart, your wishes. I found my life partner in you. You’re simply like me. You care for others that’s why I like you. You complete me. I have a lot of feelings for you. Lakshmi says it also asked if I wanna be your life partner forever. I can’t imagine anyone else but you to mary. I will wait for your answer.
Mangal asks Lakshmi and KArhtik to make each other eat the sweets. Lakshmi makes KArthik eat. He stops her. Mangal asks what happened? he says I can’t eat sweets. Gayatri says he’s a singer so he can’t. Karthik says in heart you’re so clever, Lakshmi. You were hiding this evil plan behind your innocent plan. I won’t stay silent and marry you. I will only marry my Jiya. Jiya looks at Karthik in shock. Karthik makes Lakshmi eat the sweet. Mangal says let me write her name on your heart. Karthik stops her. Lakshmi says it’s a ritual. Karthik says if you’re asking me I would, this moment is already too much. He is very angry. He says you fooled me, Lakshmi. Mangal writes Lakshmi’s name on his hand. Lakshmi asks Mangal to put mehndi as well. She writes Adit’s name on her hand.
SCene 2
Jiya cries thinking about that letter. Sanjana comes to her. Kusum says to Gayatri what is Jiya doing here? Gayatri says I cant stop her. Karthik says I need to leave for some work. Gayatri says you’ve your rasam going on. He says it’s already done. He leaves. Jiya says to Sanjana Id don’t need your help. Sanjana says Karthik will marry Lakshmi tomorrow you will keep crying. Jiya shoves her, and Sanjana falls her down. Sanjana says are you crazy? Karthik asks what happened. She says Jiya shoved me. Karthik says that means she didn’t like he letter thing. She still loves me. Mangal comes and picks Sanjana. She asks what happened? she says I slipped. Mangal thinks about Karthik’s behavior. She says there is something that I can’t understand. Karthik wanted to say something. He didn’t look happy either. I’ve to find out. Lakshmi tells Mangal the mehndi didn’t have a strong color. Poeple says that if the color isn’t dark, the groom doesn’t love it. Kusum says it takes time. Like love also happens slowly after the wedding. We should give it time. Mangal says you’re right. Your sister will bring deep color and so will be your marriage. Full of love. She hugs Lajsgmi.
Scene 3
Mangal comes to Karthik’s studio. He asks if is everything okay. She says I wanted to talk. Karthik says please sit. She says I need to rush back. Mangal asks do you wanna do this wedding? I’ve seen you don’t look happy. You leave the events. You wanted to say something every day. You’re not happy. Tell me honestly what it is. Are you happy with this wedding? Sometimes you get married and then there’s no way out. There’s only regret. This bond should be based on love. Otherwise it becomes a compromise and burden. She cries. Karthik gives her water. He says please sit down. Mangal says don’t get me wrong. I always wanted a good guy for her. I was very happy when she was engaged to you. I should have asked directly then. I’ve never seen you upset like this. I don’t want Lakshmi to marry someone who doesn’t love her. I know you respect her but marriage needs love as well. Do you understand?
