Soumya says to Adit someone has fooled you. Please don’t believe them. She hugs him. He shoves her and says I am not an idiot. I can see what you’re doing. You always do these things, you came to my house, sat in the mandap, and made me sign the papers. I stayed silent because I thought you were doing all this in love but what kind of love is this? You sent me to the jail. Did you insulted me in front of the whole world? What did I do wrong to you? She says please understand.. Hee says shut up. I felt accused of domestic violence, something so grave. You know my respect is everything to me. I didn’t think you’d stoop so low. she says please. He says shut up. Adit says Mom was right. I shouldn’t have gotten into this relationship. It’s based on lies. I should break this. She says you’d break up with me? Do you think I did this? You said so much. Don’t you trust me? She picks a vase and breaks the mirror. Soumya picks a piece and says enough. Adit says stop it. She says I don’t wanna live a life like this where you don’t trust me. I don’t wanna live. She tries to cut her wrist. Adit stops her. Soumya says let me die so it’s all over. Why do you save me every time? He says are you crazy? She says I lived with a hope that you’d fight for our love and you did this? You are accusing me of all this? How did you even think I’d send you to jail? How would I even know about domestic violence? Lakshmi is trying to trap me. He says but that photo has your foot. She says she could have edited it. It’s all Lakshmi’s plot to trap me to save herself. And you’re trusting her? She made Magnal and Kusum trust her. They came to question me. Scene 2
Adit and Mangal’s wedding frame falls and breaks. Kusum says how did this happen? Mangal says it was the wind. Kusum says this is a bad omen.
Soumya says to Lipika I like you. I have a special connection with you. Lipika says don’t say that. I am getting panic attacks. Soumya says this is your last warning. Just do what I said or I will make everything viral. Mangal shuts the window. Kusum picks the frame. Mangal says don’t worry. Why are you so worried? Things can be fixed. She says some things can’t be fixed. Adit comes home.
Scene 3
Sanjana calls Gayatri and says Karthik has decorated the whole house. We have a party. Gayatri says what party? She is out. Sanjana says Karthik is planning Lakshmi’s surprise birthday party. It’s about 12, they are gonna cut the cake. Gayatri says to Omesh you knew everything right? You took me out of the house and then to your friend’s place to keep me away from the house. He says I just wanted to spend time with you. She says I wanna go home now.
Adiit says amma what happened? You are crying? Magnal says she is crying because this frame broke. She gets worried. Adit says in our this marriage will also break soon and I’d get rid of you. Lipika is leaving. Shanti says let’s go to Lakshmi’s place. Karthik invited us too. Lipika says I thought you were sleeping. The papers fall. Shanti asks what are they? She says they are my college papers. Shanti says are you lying? What are you planning? She takes the papers. Mangal says to Adiit please tell her it’d be okay. ADit says I will get a better frame. This was old. Dont worry. Kusum says new things can’t take the place of old things. They have memories associated with them. I got this on your first anniversary. It stayed with us for so many years. It feels like I lost all those memories. There can’t be a replacement for it.
Shanti asks what is this? Lipika says they’re my college papers. Shanti says tell me the truth. What are you planning? She says I am not doing anything. She says don’t do any drama there. Mangal says let me try fixing it. She fixes the frame. Mangal says anything can be fixed, it changes a bit but it’s the same. It heals. Kusum says you can heal anything. Mangal says let’s go. We’ve to go to Lakshmi’s place. Adit says why would I go there? Magnal says are you still mad at her? Karthik invited you as well. Adit says I will come home early. I have work tomorrow.
