Scene 1
Sonu calls Lakshmi and wishes her a birthday. He says do you even remember your friend? She says of course I do. He says I thought you forgot me in your big house. It’s not boring there like we had here. She says I miss those days. Everything changed after the wedding I always celebrated with didi. She says I wish Didi could come here. She hears some noise and goes out. Lights turn on. It’s all decorated. Lakshmi gets happy. Karthik sings her happy birthday. Everyone is there. Karthik gives her a gift. Lakshmi hugs him and says thank you. I thought you were mad at me. He says I only want to see you happy today. The kids and everyone wish Lakshmi. Lakshmi comes there. Magnal says let’s cut the cake. Lakshmi says to Adit ar you mad at me? he says no I am not. You didn’t do anything. You cleared your name as well easily. You are fantastic with these games. Lipika is stressed. She asks Magnal to sign the papers. MAgnal signs them. She says it’s for delivery. Lpika texts Soumya it’s done. Soumya calls Adit. She says Happy independence Day. She says you’re free from mangal. We can get married now. He says I can’t believe this. How did this happen? Mangal comes there and asks Adit to make her wear her mangalsutra. Adit does.
Scene 3
Lakshmi cuts the cake. Lipika tries to hide the papers. Sanjana says you made such a basic cake. Did Adit not give you the budget Mangal? Lakshmi says you can’t buy this cake because it’s made of love. Kusum says Sanjana doesn’t know about love and warmth. Sanjana leaves in anger.
Shanti asks Lipika why are you upstairs? What is happening? She says Akshar what are you doing here? Lipik hides the papers. Lipka collides with Mangal. She tries to look for the papers. She wonders where did they go? Kusum finds the papers under the table. She says these must be Karthik’s. Everyone leaves. Lakshmi says you all made me feel so special. Gayatri says my son missed his concert because of you. Clean all this now. Karthik stops Lakshmi. He says let’s open the gifts first.
The paper falls in Lakshmi’s room.
Scene 3
Lipika asks Soumya to delete all the pictures. She did a fake signature on a new paper. She says thank God Mangal didn’t sign. Soumya deletes the pictures. She says finally admits is divorced. Lakshmi finds the divorce papers. She is shocked. She says this can’t be true. I have to tell didi. She calls Mangal.
