Manish Raisinghan Advocates for Eco-Friendly Celebrations, Encourages the Use of Sustainable Idols and Decorations
As Ganesh Chaturthi approaches, actor Manish Raisinghan, known for his role in the TV show ‘Kyunkii Tum Hi Ho,’ has called upon his fans to observe the festivities while also considering their responsibility to protect the world created by the Almighty.
In his message, Manish emphasized the significance of the month of September, which marks the auspicious occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi. He acknowledged the enthusiasm with which everyone prepares for the festivities, adorning their homes with elaborate decorations and idols of Lord Ganesha. However, he pointed out that amid these celebrations, the eco-friendly aspect is often overlooked.
Manish Raisinghan drew attention to the heart-wrenching sight of seeing the beloved deity in pieces after immersion. He expressed his belief that not only himself but every devotee of Lord Ganesha is saddened by this sight. He emphasized that opting for eco-friendly idols is the solution, not only to spare devotees from this distressing image but also to fulfill the responsibility of safeguarding the world created by the Lord.
Concluding his message, he appealed to everyone to celebrate with eco-friendly decorations, minimize the use of plastic, and choose idols made from clay and natural red soil. This approach, he stressed, not only benefits nature but also reduces pollution.
Manish Raisinghan, recognized for his roles in TV shows such as ‘Nima Denzongpa,’ ‘Sasural Simar Ka,’ and ‘Teen Bahuraaniyaan,’ was last seen in ‘Kyunkii Tum Hi Ho.’ After the show concluded, he took a break and embarked on a vacation with his wife, Sangeita Chauhaan, visiting Karjat and Goa.
