Manit Joura who turned a year old yesterday celebrated his birthday with his colleagues on the set of his show Kundali Bhagya. The actor talked about his special day in an interview with BT and shared, “I know birthdays are very special and they should be. It’s going to be a working birthday for me and I think it’s a blessing because I don’t think that there is anything more special for me than my work and acting. So I think this is the way I would want to celebrate my birthday, by working.”
He added, “I’ll be celebrating with my onscreen family, my co-actors will be there, Shraddha (Arya), Dheeraj (Dhoopar), the director, and the entire team. I’ll be celebrating with them and I don’t think I am going to miss anything or anyone. So yes, this day is going to be a memorable one.”
When asked about birthday gifts, he said, “I don’t expect gifts from anyone. People might not believe that, but it’s fine, I like to give more than I receive. So I’m cool with whatever I get as a gift, I am not choosy.”
Manit is passionate about his craft but also admits that an actor’s life is full of struggles. “That’s a part of the journey and now I take things in my stride. For me, a low is when I give a bad shot on the sets. In the last 16 years of my acting career, my failures have taught me more than my success.”
