Radhika got frozen with his accusations and the word ‘divorce’ she was too shocked to defend herself, she choked all the words she wanted to say, her heart cried in pain, her tears started to flow out in pain…Arjun’s words were so intensely bitter that it killed every single hope inside her to change him someday…
Radhika’s heart was completely shattered; she had no courage or desire left to say even a word. Arjun’s words and actionjs had utterly broken her from inside…his cruel and ruthless accuses were still ringing in her ears….her ears were bleeding with his meticulous words and eyes were constantly shedding blo*dy tears…she wished she had the power to kill herself….Arjun ruined her, he tainted a blameless, innocent, pure character forever..
Darkness creeped inside his life instantly as his light left him…he crashed on the ground beneath him and wept silently….
“Oh God!!! “ Intense painful screech rumbled deep down his throat…,”Oh No…God!!!…What have I done…I have slandered and humiliated my own love” he mumbled in a deep broke down tone…
Neil who entered his room to question him for his cruel behaviour froze seeing Arjun’s condition… It looked like someone pulled life out of him… He had never seen him wrecked and shattered, he was utterly shaken seeing a man like Arjun crying and wailing like a infant…
He could tell that Arjun had utterly lost his mind in tremor…As much as he wanted to be there for Arjun and comfort him… He knew that Arjun would never like sharing his intense pain with someone… There was nothing he could do to relieve his pain…He wanted to mention to him about Radhika’s condition but then after seeing his vulnerable state he decided it was not the right time to talk about it….He just glanced at him and left silently leaving behind a shattered Arjun Mehra…
Arjun spend the entire rest of the day and a night in pool of tears and remorse….he was awfully ashamed of himself thinking what he had done…his heart curled up with extreme ache…
Suddenly emptiness captured his soul…His intense guilt took away all his energy…He sat on the bed like a lifeless body…His only sustenance were tears but now even they dried up…His remorse was eating him up at a quick pace…His own words were haunting him like a cruel laughter… Her gaze filled with hatred was killing him inside… The word ‘divorce’ echoed in his ears rhythmically and repeatedly…His vicious memories from his past evoked to make it worst…He looked at his own palm pointedly for a second and hit his both fist on the wall brutally until it started bleeding…
He loudly shouted and pulled his hair to release the suffocating pain, but there was nothing that could give him peace…The day turned into gloomy night but he did not turn on the lights…He hid himself in the darkness…
Neil had decided to give Arjun time to recover on his own and then take a firm decision about what to do next but after hearing his violent, painful angry scream he ran into his room, but after seeing the devil condition of the room and after hearing Arjun’s angry growl he swiftly turned back and walked out of his room…
He sat in one corner in dark room thinking about what he had done in his anger….He remembered her brown beautiful eyes which could bend him according to her own will and now those brown orbs were completely lifeless just because of him…Subsequently he got overwhelmed with many emotions and craved for her nearness and forgiveness…Now his heart intensely desired for her love…
One whole and night passed without any food and sleep in intense repenting and suffocation… Finally in the morning he gathered all his strength and called Neil inside….For the first time in his life he decided to share his pain with a friend….Nandini always taught him that though your tears are painful they are of your own…he always believed that when you fall you should not expect or take help from anyone, this will only make you weak and a man who z weak and incapable of handling hurdles has no right to call himself a man…But today his heart very well recognized that he needed a friend’s shoulder to cry on…
Arjun was sitting on the bed without taking shower…Neil’s eyes widen in shock after seeing the condition of his room, but after his eyes laid on Arjun, It gave heavy shock of wave seeing his eyes and face was swollen and puffy, his hand was filled with dry blood, his cheeks and nose had turned red…he looked depressed and gloomy just in a day…Overall it looked like he aged in a one single day…
When Arjun heard the walking sounds he slowly looked at Neil with pleading guilty as if he had committed an unforgivable crime…his tears were almost ready to spill but soon he gulped his tears and was left with moist eyes…In just one day he looked so pale that Neil felt he z going to die any minute…His face looked vulnerable and helpless, his eyes were dreadful. It was throbbing for Neil to see him in this state…
Neil with a panic expression, cautiously walked towards him and without uttering a word embraced him…He rubbed his back to calm him down but all in vain…Arjun finally broke the hug…he viewed Neil with guilt struck eyes “I am the worst man born on this earth….I couldn’t trust the person I loved the most in this world.” He looked at Neil remorsefully and said in a terrified voice…
After hearing that Neil’s mouth dropped open in a shock…Arjun failed to control his tears streaming down his cheeks….Neil was angry and sad at the same time…he knew that’s how he grew up…he was told and taught to never trust anyone not even your own shadow…
Finally Neil cautiously said,” Arjun you should apologize for what you did….this was not a small mistake it z a grave sin to distrust and hurt your wife that too in front of all…if you really feel vulnerable about it then just think what she must be going through at this time….you have hurt in the most cruel way anyone could think of.”
Arjun replied in a low tone with a sad expression” I don’t have courage to face her let alone apologizing… I have hurt her to the extreme…I accused her divine character…she will never forgive me for this….I have no right to even be called her so called husband…I am a cold hearted monster.”
Neil with a commanding tone shouted while holding his both shoulder strongly,” Hell Arjun!!!…Stop crying like a fragile infant you are the Arjun Mehra whose dictionary has no word like defeat…you achieved everything on your own without looking back then why are you accepting all this pain willingly… Go fight for your love and bring her back to you where she belongs. “
Neil’s words soured courage and confidence in Arjun….He stood up with determination and new born strength…Neil’s words worked like some magical energy on him…
Arjun realized that Neil was right…he had to apologize for his grave sin and somewhere he knew she still loved him to forgive him….
He stormed out of his house as fast as he could and got inside his car swiftly…. He drove off in lightening speed praying all while that she forgives him…
Arjun pressed the doorbell without moving his finger even for once…he got depressed to earn a disgusting look from his mother in law but controlled himself and enquired about Radhika… She just pointed towards the balcony and left without even asking him for water…
Radhika shivered with shock and thought, “ Oh God!!!…why z he here now…maybe he wasn’t satisfied with what happened yesterday…he wants to hurt me more….let him have his own way with me I am already dead inside now nothing could affect me now.”
Arjun was shocked to see her condition…. She looked dull and pale….her eyes swollen red but lifeless too…her long beautiful stresses dishevelled…not a inch of makeup yet she managed to look beautiful owing to her simplicity…She had lost her charm in just one day, but her truthful divine glow was still keeping the charm of her beauty… she looked divine and beautiful in his eyes…
Radhika gulped down her pain and treaded towards the kitchen… She brought a glass of water and handed it over to him without meeting his eyes….Arjun gulped down the water in one go in tension…when she tried to walk away from there, Arjun stopped her in between and stood in front of her blocking her way out…Radhika stared at him with extreme fury and bitterly asked, “Are you here to humiliate me more or you have brought the divorce papers to get them signed. “….she again calmly murmured “I think this relationships has already met its end last night and if you want we can officially get separated too.”
Radhika again sarcastically and dryly whispered in a clipped low tone,” I already said that I will go according to your wish from now on but in case you have found someone else then you don’t need to carry the burden of this marriage….you have already killed me now nothing can affect me but I love you too much to ever hate you in my life anyway its my problem… None of your consern.”
Arjun was shaken after hearing those harsh words from Radhika’s mouth….his eyes got filled with remorseful tears…he closed his eyes for a second to gulp down his tears and her pain…
He cleared his throat, gathered his courage and with guilt spoke in a calm tone,” Radhika…I am here to apologize for my grave sin…I know my anger destroyed everything but I am really feeling very horrible about what I did…I completely lost myself in disbelief and said disgraceful things to you…please forgive me.”….when he noticed that his words had no impact on her at all, he continued pursuing,” Radhika I have never bowed down my head and folded my hands in front of anyone but today I am folding my hands and bowing down my head and asking for your forgiveness… Please forgive me…Give me one last chance…. I promise to trust you blindly my whole life.” His kingly ego was shattering him from insideout, First time ever he bowed down with apology…his Pain…his suffocation.. his guilt.. his extreme remorse break down with uncontrolled tears and his voice turned heavy with deep sorrow…
Even after extreme begging for an apology….When he saw no reaction from Radhika… She just stood there as if he said nothing…completely impassive, her blank stare at him shook him…
