so dearies this is my second chapter…i had seriously no idea that i would post the second one now nor will know when will i right the next….but i just decided to write this chappy as my tiny invisible gift to my sweeeet bhai….who is that ? sorry, coz for that u have to bear my torture and read (or scroll ?) till end…..soooo HAPPY READING???…(or scrolling ???)…………
IN THE JUNGLE::
[OF BEAUTIFUL MEMORIES?]…….
4 years leap…..
It was a beautiful morning in the mehra mansion….and nandhini mehra chuckled at the sight before her….even though it is very usual for her ,it never fails to bring a beautiful smile in her face……she saw her four kids cuddled together in the king size bed in arjun’s room……their posture was all cute, funny and lovely….can they all be in one posture…offcourse it would be in, and the evidence for that is the view in front of her…..radhika was sleeping hugging her teddy bear and neil had her leg over her leg and hand over her head….and arjun was sleeping hugging neil tight with his head on his shoulder and sam perched to his back…neil was lightly snoring , arjun’s mouth was haalf open….and sam was busy making bubbles in with her mouth and radhika’s face was deep inside the teddy”s belly…..they were no less then any KG kid…nandhini banged her head seeing the time , it was 7:15. and she knew how hard it is to wake them up further and get them ready on time…these four always slept together may it be in mehra or malhotra mansion and eventhough they had their own rooms in both the houses that they themselves has decorated(?)…..nandini started screaming for them to wake up…and finally when she saw no better option, she picked up the water jug and poured it equally on the four…..and again it was nothing new for the four…..so they simply wiped their faces lazily on each others tshirt and started cuddling again…but suddenly sam started stirring and as a miracle she woke up, sat on the bed next to arjun….lazily wiped her face in the back of her hands and slowly raised her one hand and spoke loudly:”mom , u haven’t brought us coffee yet…..” and again lied down this time with her head over arjun’s, hugging him tighly with her legs up on his waist……nandhini now hitted her head hard with both the hands and screamed :” sidddddd” walking out of the room , as only he can handle them now……sid walked in in his night dress , as he himself had just now woke up and thus was rubbing his eyes for a clear vision….thinking of what to do, he thought of hitting the easy targets arjun and neil as he knew that sam and radhika would sleep like kumbakaran even in broad day light of the scorching afternoon sun…..so he started screaming their names to wake then up and finally said :” if u people go to school late today too , roy sir is surely going to make u people do atleast ten laps”..he finished in a threatening manner as he knew how much neil is terrified of his PT teacher that he would run to washroom to hide whenever he is in charge of the ground…..but that trick too didn’t work , coz neil was so engossed in sleeping that day and arjun said lifting his one leg high : ” we have strong legs, papa”….sid:” arjun, u people r going to be late for school”….arjun:”papa…pls another five minutes..u know na that we slept late last night after speaking to janny and manny…. “he said yawning…and again la down…knowing now that the mission has become critical now as he knew only once in a week, on sunday nights only they speak to jai and manya who are now in US ,as samrat and piyali are taking care of piyali’s family business after her parents had fell ill, taking their kuds too with them…he still remembered how close knit they were…and how much they all missed each other and knew very well that they wouldn’t have slept before midnight…so finally he took the ultimate weapon and switched off the Ac ,drew off their blankets and walked silently out of room to brush his teeth……..boys were the sensitive ones in this matter that they woke up quickly while the girls still sleeping like logs….and they sat scratchig their heads of how to switch on the Ac without much work and moving out of bed…neil had a clear idea and signalled arjun with his eyes of radhika who they knew that she couln’t sleep without proper air for long..showing thumbs up to neil both the buddies smirked evily of taking their long needed revenge, kicked her hard and rolled her out of bed that she landed on the floor with the teddy and with a thud and both of them quickly turned to the other side of bed and acted of sleeping hugging sam tightly who was in her own dreams unaware of all the things around her……radhika stood up from the ground with her teddy in hand and scratching her head that how she landed on the ground…..but soon she caught neil trying very hard to sneek into the blanket that arjun had on him….she became so furious that he diaturbed her sleep that she kicked his back, pulled him seperately on bed ,leaped on him and started beating him with her pillow…..neil screamed for help to his bro…but arjun was busy laughing his state ,who inturn got her servings next…….:” u disturbed my sleep…..u morons…” radhika screamed…..while the boys sighed a relief that she wasn’t still realise that they had wantedly kicked her so that she would switch on the Ac….their soon started their pillow fight that now ,sam too has joined them…..and when the boys were on a very pitiful state along with their pillow…nandhini walked in with a tray of coffee making them numb with its aroma……neil stood up abruptly, jumped off the bed…and walked towards nandini in the manner of a zombie…and when he was about to take the coffee cup….nandhini turned the tray and sid forwaded him his brush:” neil first brush ur teeth….u r a grownup now…”…neil made a pout face and mumbled:”papa that is why i don’t like to be one…”and slowly walked towards the washroom all the while scratching his head with his brush and others too one by one took their brushes and swiftly walked to the washroom to secure the space first and again started their catfight all again and came after good ten minutes all their white teeths flashing with fuming gaze on each other…..but when nandhini forwaded the tray , they all took it with a squeal and started sipping its delicacy with sweet moans…ahaas…ohohs….and big praisings for nandhini all the while, while both nandu and sid stood their smiling and when they were finished nandhini spoke:” now kids off to ur rooms…and get ready in fifteen minutes….u guys r getting late for school…and sid u too go..”…and they all nodded their heads like good kids and one by one they walked out of the room kissing nandhini’s cheeks…..
Exactly after half an hour in the dining table::
All were assembled in the dining table, nandhini was serving them pancakes and all were eating them telling :” yummy…” …..and slowly when no one noticed neil took a piece of cake from sam’s plate yearning a death glare from her and arjun was watching them very curiosly wanting to know what happens next….and in between radhika silently took a piece from arjun’s plate and munched on it as she knows that in either way he wouldn’t mind it……and she took a big piece from neil’s plate and stuffed it in her mouth in one go and when she saw sam giggling at neil ,she asked:” what happened sammy?”…..inreturn she heard a scowl from sam and sam yelled:”chasni first eat it…u r spraying my face…” and cleaned her face…..but all radhika did was to make a face and again went on munching the cakes…all laughed and suddenly nandhini asked the boys as they were in same grade and the girls in another:” radhu ,sam is ur project ready?, the one u were doing last night….”…and the boys spoke inbetween flipping their collars :” when we r there why worry mumma..”in unison…..the girls poked out their tongues… nandhini smiled and sid spoke ” girls said that u guys have maths test today?”….amd smiled evily with the girls as now it is their turn to laugh and the boys gulping hard, politely said in unison :” yes papa….”….sid:” prepared?” now the girls giggled and recieved a death glare from boys who sheepishly grinned to sid and again said in unison:” yes papa…”…radhika:”really ,then tell me neil what is 2x2x2″…she asked and neil answered quickly with pride of giving the right answer:” totodo…..(that is 2 2 2)”….now the girls burst out laughing with sid ,nandhini banged her head and arjun gave neil a ‘ u too poor baby..’ look…and both the boys hung down their head for the rest of the meal……….and before running to school the four bid their parents bye with kisses as all four may it be sid or nandu or prem or prerna ,they all r these four’s parents either by blood or by heart…..sid dropped the four in the school and went away for his work….the four entered the school like kings and queens and when they heard the school bell ringing they four ran in each other’s direction like drenched cats with boys for one class(9th grade) and girls on another(7th grade…) wishing each other and taking the other’s hand……..
It was afternoon and the girls came outside giggling and chatting with their lunch bags that had the boys lunch too as they all four always ate together….when they reached their usual place they expected the boys to be very hungry to leap on them and pull the lunch bags….but instead the boys were sitting their politely with their heads hung down…..the girls were surprised and worried too as they knew how strong the boys r in maths(?)…..sam slowly walked towards them handing over her bags to radhika…and lifted their chins up, she saw their dull and pouted faces…and asked :” wassup?”….arjun answered all gloomy:”we failed in just one mark..”sam just hugged them consoling:” that’s okay u guys were helping us for our project and didn’t prepare and more over u got 39 marks…that’s okay ” she said concerned…neil:” it wa only for u people right? no problem…we r glad that we got that much….” but radhika was unfazed, she couldn’t believe that they were that intelligent(!!!) to get that much marks without going through the portion even once…and that too the test was on first period they said so probably no time to read at all….so she silently went near neil took out their papers without his as she knew that his bag is their dustbin…..and she showed the paper to sam too who was all gloomy now…and both the girls quickly searched for something to break their heads but having found none ,they picked their respective bags and hitted their bestfriend’s head hard…..the boys knew that they were caught and that yearned neil an extra slap from arjun too as he hasn’t disposed the papers safely and now they wouldn’t be able to rob the girls food too as per their plan……sam screamed:” u guys have got only ONE mark and doing all this drama….”…..arjun retorted:” coz we wrote honestly , not like u girls sharing not only their notes but also their…..” but before he could complete radhika leaped and closed his mouth giving him a warning glare as the girls’s class teacher just now crossed them….and when the girls sighed a relief ,arjun winked at neil and neil using the oppurtunity snatched the bags from the girls and started running…after all running and chasing, the four sat down to eat all the while chatting,fighting and giggling and asusual they were the last in the ground to go to class…..
In the evening when the classes r over ,the boys threw their bags to the girls and started playing in the ground with their gang as roy was out of duty that day and the girl’s sat in the bench umpiring them….half an hour later the boys came all brown with messy hairs,very beautiful like a beggar and extended their hands to their sissies for their water bottles…but the girls looked at each other shrugged their shoulders and radhika said:” we don’t have any change boys….” the boys couldn’t understand her…so neil asked:” our watercans?”….. radhika:” u sound just like my bhai….”….but before they could answer, sam spoke:”oh neil, bhai is that you..we thought u r begging us for change…. “…the boys fumed in anger and the did a hi-fi and giggled and when neil thought of interupting arjun stopped them and neil too calmed as the boys were dead tired playing……..they all then sat there in the ground waiting for prem to pick them up as they have decided to stay there today and the boys were busy in the 20-20 happening on the ground…..then came a girl running to them , she was sam and radhika’s classmate…she then told the girls that their science project submission last date is tomorrow and the girls were flushed white that only one day remained for the completion and eyed the boys….and they smirked with a hi-fi that now it was there turn to play….then sam sweetly spoke to arjun:” bhai….u know u how awesome u both were in the ground… “..neil asked smilingly:”how??? “….and radhika mumbled:” terrific……”under her breath…neil:” WHAT?”…..sam quickly covered for her ,slapping her thigh :” she said u guys were terrifyingly awesome”she said with a forced smile….neil:” really….nice try sammy but nothing doing…”….sam made a pout face and said:” bhaiiiiiii”….arjun smirked:” don’t bhaiiii me sammy…”…neil giggled:”that’s my arjun…. “and both the boys poked their tongue out for the girls..and the girls made a pout sad face and tried their irresistable master winning move……their puppy eyes…..the boys closed their eyes and banged their heads,while the exchanged a secret smile and a wink..finally neil spoke:” okay , but on one condition….”…sam:” what?””…..neil:” ur whole week pocket money for us…..”….sam’s jaw dropped:” half”…neil:” no…full”….but radhika retorted:” no way,bro”…arjun:” really? then good luck doing the project alone in one night…..” both the boys smirked as they had no other way than to accept…..and sam fumed but radhika was not the one to give up easily:” if u guys wish ,then its okay……i think mom and dad both will help us after seeing this” and she showed them their maths test paper……sam giggled and the boys were in utter shock ,all wide eyed and open mouthed and then neil quickly covered the tracks and said:” half is enough…..anything for our sister” and kissed radhika’s cheeks ,while arjun mumbled:” yes,yes….” patting sam’s cheeks and they both gave them a sheepish baby grin and the both the girls burst out laughing and hified…..the boys hung down their heads fuming as its again a point for the girls……then came prem at the right time as a saviour for the boys from further embarrasment…..and again a cat fight was initiated ,this time it was for ‘ who will have the front seat’….but before they could eat his head,prem saw another better way and picked the kids swiftly and dropped all of them in the back seat….then again a fight for the song to be played that made at last prem pull his hairs and switch of the set…..and after a hell of 15 minutes he breathed a sigh when they entered into the mansion…the kids leaving him behind ran inside making him as the porter for their bags…..and the boys quickly got inside their rooms to change before prerna could catch them redhandd with their filthy cloths…..but when they returned from their showers changing, they found that the girls had already finished their part and r now working on their part of the evening snacks….but will the boys leave ,no…..so this time the boys started a cat fight a cat fight in which the sauce ended up in radhika’s plait and jam in sam’s face….the girls kicked their brother’s and left them to be spanked by a fuming prerna….who was standing there with her hands folded under her chest seeing the state of the table…and the boys gulped hard and let out a forced 32 teeth grin bracing themselves for the upcoming storm while the girls giggled behind their back…….then after all these strategies all four sat in their study room for the girls project….and until the project was finished the girls were like ms.goodie in two shoes,that even arjun and neil were so shocked like what had gotten into them…..but when the project was over,the girls pulled their brothers for playing videogames before they could finish their works…..and seriously would any boy deny that and they went along….and as usual the boys were on the winning side…..but girls, u know they r different..they quickly put down their joy sticks and screamed:” ma…..they r playing videogames instead of doing homework” in unison….the boys were like’ what?’ and were terrified of what is to come….prerna came and stood with her hands on hip….the boys gulped and stood frozen..but prerna couldn’t make a angry face , after she has seen their cute shocked expression coz she very well knew about her girls….so she finally giggled giving the girls a utter shock,and arjun squealed ,ran to her and hugged her tight and said:” love you ma…”..prerna smiled and kissed arjun’s and neil’s cheeks who too ran and hugged her..;” kisses only for them?”the girls asked in unison and pouted…prerna smiled and opened her arms , the girls ran and hopped into it…she hugged all the four tightly ,kissed thee top of their heads and mumbled:” never change…..be like this itself…” said she all emotional…radhika pecked her cheeks and spoke :”never ma, we won’t let u bored… ” flashing her white teeths and all the others too nodded their heads ,grinning widely….then she lead them to the dining hall and decided to feed them with her own hands….but again started a world war three of whom to get the piece first resulting prem to at last run to his study with his plate and all the five laughed………..then it was the time for their bed but prerna knew that they wouldn’t go soon…but to her surprise everyone yawned and wished her for the night with kisses and marched to neil’s room….she couldn’t believe it, so she slowly tip toed and sneeked inside the room , only to find them all under their blankets…closing their eyes….she smiled ,went to them ,kissed their foreheads and came out switching off the lights and closing the door…..
inside the dark room, slowly a pair of eyes opened with the sound of closing the door….she saw with first one eyes…then two….then slightly rised her head and mumbled:” guys , mom is gone….”….another head peeked out of the blanket and he too mumbled:” yes radhika is right…..neil take it out….” said arjun….neil peeked out and took his laptop and sam brought the popcorns that she took from the kitchen in the evening…..it seemed that they hed a well laid plan…..then neil switched on the Ben 10 -hybrid series climax episode….and they all sat in the bed with popcorn and blanket to cover them and were enjoying the episode……when they heard :”ahem…ahem”…someone clearing their throat..they gently peeked out of the blanket one by one and got face terrible expression in their faces…yes, there stood prerna and prem with their hands folded under chest, prem was so hardly suppressing his smile that the kids r caught and prerna had a ‘ thought so ‘ look on her face…..the four gulped hard that they were finally caught and their eyeballs were moving moving like that of a cue ball looking all around other than their mom’s eyes…prem finally spoke clearing his throat in a grave tone:” so…what u guys where watching?’….neil spoke:” Ben 10 episode of hybrid invasion….papa “…..prem’s all grave tone flew away in a second, he asked excited in a childish voice:” really?”…..the kids smiled but their smile fell the next second seeing prerna giving prem a stern look and silencing him….then she gently asked:”still how much episode remaining? “….prem gave a ‘ what ?’ look and the kids giggled seeing his shocked expression ,afterall they remembered that prerna was the one who first introduced them ‘Ben 10’……sam spoke with sparkling eyes:” it has just started ma….”…..and then that was all, prem banged his head and went to his study to finish his remaining work of the day unwillingly , while prerna stayed back, sat between the kids with the popcorn in her lap enjoying the cartoon , and turned out to be the very sincere one at last…….the kids one by one fell asleep…and at last when the episode was over arjun was sleeping with his head on prerna’s lap….radhika leaning on her mom’s shoulder…..while sam was sleeping on the extreme end of the bed as she was the first one to fall asleep and neil on in stomach lying on bed with his head into the empty popcorn corn and legs on the pillow….prerna smiled at their postures….quitely switched off the laptop…made them lie proper in the bed gently without waking them up and stood to leave after kissing their foreheads and covering them with the blankets……she stood admiring at her sleeping kids…a beautiful smile crept her face seeing the most lovely sight for every mother, that is her kids sleeping very peacefully tugged in the bed….she chukled , blessed them to stay this joyful always…..closed the door with atmost care of not making any noise to wake the kids…and tiptoed to her room to have a good night’s sleep………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………….
so that is all for today sweeties……how is it? up to ur expectation? i tried my level best for this chapter…..hope you all may have enjoyed this chappy…….and dear siblings do u know, today is aham sharma’s birthday(22nd july….)….(remember reading somewhere….)….so thought of writing this as a tribute to him, as i believe that he gave life to the mythological karn,my hero in on screen making me cherish my moments of loving a great legend……..and i know that this would this would not reach him….even though i wanna say this……bhai A VERY HAPPY HAPPY BIRTHDAY….
MAY YOUR LIFE BE FILLED WITH ALL THE HAPPINESS OF THIS UNIVERSE ???
