After gulping down the black coffee exactly after half an hour amrit started feeling dizzy…..it just a matter of seconds she crashed on the ground unconscious…..
Radhika who was eagerly waiting for this moment smirked….she messaged Neil…..work done successfully….. Time to execute Plan B….
He replied….Well done my wild cat….all the best for next move…..now rush to arjun’s cabin now and inform him about his beloved dm’s condition….. He will never doubt you in his dreams too….be safe and don’t trust him….
She messaged back….no one can doubt your wild cat I have mastered all the arts of putting on a show…..will call you after I finish my task….
She hurriedly took long strides to Arjun’s cabin….and barged in without knocking…. He was surprised but didn’t scolded her….
She spoke in one breath….Sir amrit mam fainted….
He was shocked after hearing this….he felt as if someone sucked life out of him….he got up and rushed to his dm’s cabin without sparing a glance at radhika…..
Radhika smiled…. Her POV…. Arjun sir don’t worry your dm has to pay for her sins…..I won’t let her die so easily….radhika in one hour that poison should be removed from her body otherwise she will die….hurry up radhika…
She rushed to amrit’s cabin and site before her pierced her heart….
Arjun was holding his dm and crying bitterly…. For a moment she cursed herself for his state….her POV…. Why do I have to hurt the innocent for my revenge… Arjun sir I am sorry…. I wish I could fall at your feet and apologize for this horrible act of mine but I can’t….
She walked to them and touched arjun’s shoulder tenderly….
He turned and spoke in a crumbled voice….Radhika look at her she z so quiet…. I don’t know what to do….her face z so pale…plz talk to me dm….he sobbed.
She got down and cupped his face…. Let’s rush her to hospital…. Don’t delay more sir….
He nodded and without wasting a second more lifted her up in his arms and took long strides to walk out of birdsong to reach his car….
He drove off to hospital in a matter of 10 minutes by driving very fast….all while clutching radhika’s hand tight….he was first time so scared….she could read the fear written on his face….
After admitting dm….he crashed on the ground and hiding his face in his palms he wept….radhika couldn’t see his condition even her eyes started pouring…she walked to him and made him stand….today first time she saw tthe glimpses of that 5 year old boy who was abandoned by his parents…. who was constantly searching for someone to love him and someone who could keep him in heart…
Radhika POV…. I never thought this would be this difficult…. I am first time scared because I don’t know how I will face you the day my truth comes out….but don’t worry once I am done with my revenge I will walk out of your life forever…. I am so sorry sir…..
She walked to him and made him stand….I can’t see you broken please be strong….
He glanced at her beautiful face reflection genuine consern for him….he could see the tears streaming down her cheeks….he pulled her in tight hug….she rubbed his back trying her best to comfort him….
Radhika, “Sir everything will be fine.”
She felt wetness on her shoulder…. she broke the hug and wiped his tears by her soft fingers….
He whispered,”radhika dm should get well I will die without her.”
This one sentence to drown radhika in ocean of guilt….his pain…his tears…his restlessness everything mattered to her eventhough she ignored her heart which was falling for him every second….
Radhika, “Sir believe in god I am sure she will be fine.”
He spoke with hurt….your so called God snatched away many things…..if someday I meet your god I will ask him why he kept me alive if he wanted to kill everyone I love….
She was pained to hear this and kept her palm on his lips….don’t talk about dying sir please….
He smiled…. Don’t worry I am not your God’s favourite neither he z my favourite…. We both don’t desire to meet each other soon….
She hugged him….her POV…. What will I do now?….how will I hurt amrit now her each pain breaks you apart….I can’t refuse Neil also please God give me strength to complete what I started….
Their bodies remained close until they heard stern voice which was clearly indicating that the person was fuming seeing them….
It was none other than Sam….she rushed to hospital the moment someone informed her about dm….but the sight in front of her made her burn to ashes…..she felt that only her shoulder was eligible for arjun mehra to cry on….she walked to him and hugged him tight…
Sam,”Arjun don’t worry she z strong….you have my shoulder cry to your heart’s content. ”
Radhika was hurt looking at them…..she couldn’t take it anymore and turned to leave them alone but arjun held her wrist tight and spoke through eyes asking her not to leave….
Sam was burning watching his hand on her wrist but kept quiet acknowledging the fact that they were in hospital….
Arjun was holding Sam to comfort her but his eyes were on radhika only….he wanted to escape Sam embrace and pull radhika in his arms…..he could tell reading her brown orbs that she didn’t like Sam’s closeness to him but he was helpless……after all Sam was his friend and your friend owns your shoulder to weep on….this z the unwritten rule of friendship….
Radhika POV…. Why am I feeling hurt seeing them together?…. I don’t love arjun sir then why am I restless seeing him with Sam….radhika stop it don’t forget for what you are here….if arjun sir gets peace in Sam’s arm then you should be happy for them…..let them be don’t come between them….
She tried pulling her wrist out of Arjun’s grip but his grip was ironic….he signalled her to stop trying pulling her hand out of his grip…..
She nodded but was hurt to see Sam getting closer to him by every second…. she just wanted to walk away from there….
Sam was enjoying the hurt on radhika’s face….she intended to show her rights on arjun and show her place in his life…. she buried her face in arjun’s bare chest which was visible because almost four buttons of his shirt were unbuttoned….
He was uncomfortable with this act of Sam but couldn’t push her away….he stole a glance at radhika’s face whose eyes spoke how hurt she was after seeing Sam almost kissing his chest….
He did a lip movement of the word sorry to apologize to his ladylove….
Arjun took a sign of relief when doctor came out and Sam distanced herself from him….
He hurriedly asked the doctor….how z she doctor?…
But the reply he got left him tensed….all he heard was that his dm was poisoned and if they had done any delay in bringing her to hospital than she would have breathed her last today….
Arjun fumed, “doctor how could this happen?…who could poison her and how….
Doctor,” maybe the person who intended to do so must have mixed the poison in her food or some drink which she regularly consumes….but now we have flushed it out of her body but she z weak right now.”
Arjun smiled, “thanks doc….when she will wake up and can we meet her.”
Doctor, “we have given her injection we can’t tell when she will gain conscious but you can’t meet her right now let her rest.”
Arjun in a pleading voice…. Please doc just let me see her once I promise I won’t create any disturbance….
Doctor nodded and left….
Arjun grabbed radhika’s wrist and barged inside the ICU leaving behind a hurt Sam….
As he entered the room his heart stopped for a second…. His dm was lying on the bed lifeless though she was unconscious her state was no less than a dead body….various drips attached to her body made her look like a typical hospital patient….
He sat beside her and took her hands in his and kissed her knuckles and wept touching his forehead to her palm….
Radhika was pained to see this….she cursed herself and regretted doing this to a old lady….though sona suffered alot because of this woman at least she should have considered her age before punishing her….
As his tears made the old lady’s palm wet….she began responding to her aru’s touch….she lifted her eyelids slowly to look at the person she loved most…..
Arjun in a crumbled voice, “you scared me dm…..for a moment I thought I lost you.”
She caressed his cheek and whispered…. Don’t worry till I get you married I am not leaving you….I won’t leave the world without fulfilling my this wish….
She glanced at radhika who had tears in her eyes too…..come here radhika I want to talk to you….
Radhika gulped down a lump of fright down her throat….she thought dm knew her intension and maybe today she will see Arjun last time….
She walked to the old lady and greeted her with a smile,”how are you feeling now.”
Dm,”better, sit beside arjun.”
She was takenaback after hearing this but she made herself comfortable beside arjun…
Dm who was no less placed arjun’s hand on radhika’s and spoke….. If someday I am not there take care of my aru….my life resides in him….promise me you will never leave him alone….
Radhika was shocked to hear this….she had plans to walk out of arjun’s life and now she z asked to promise lifelong commitment to arjun sir….but she didn’t know why she nodded to this impossible demand of amrit mehra,the woman who was responsible for Neil’s miseries….
As she walked out of the room she felt as someone put a burden on her and that burden was crushing down…..her senses were numb…..she was walking lifelessly…. Many commitments she made to many people and one more now which left her broken….she couldn’t hurt arjun neither could she betray Neil….as she closed her eyes…tears started streaming down her cheeks….
