Chapter 25 (Part 1)

His car raised an alarm at the cruel hit it received…and Arjun rushed to a side way door to reach the parking…Nandhini smiled listening Radhika’s name..she did prefer to
meet her…Arjun searched her as he reached the parking….Nandhini came smiling from the kitchen with a small jar filled with rice..Rana stood bemused..

“Sir..Ma’am went to the main entrance”,a guard of his personal security said..

“Okay..any damage to the main gate”,Arjun asked walking the other side..

“No sir! Only your vehicle…”,he dragged and left it abrupt when Arjun stopped on his tracks and glared him..

“Radhi..Welcome home”,Nandhini smiled wide…

“You?”,she asked with a confused pout..Nandhini just then noticed the liquor bottle in her hand and her staggering position..Rana prayed for mother earth to hold him
if he falls flat..His jaw hung open to see a girl standing intoxicated at the doorway,ready to push the kalash..

“Am Nandhini,Arjun’s di”,she smiled.

Arjun saw Radhika standing near the main door with a wine bottle in her left hand and grinning widely…He jaw clenched at that..and he walked towards her unaware
of what was happening the other side..

“Oh !! It’s you !!..Glad to meet you..”,Radhika hicupped and extended her hand standing the other side..Nandhini responded confused…Rana stood blinking looking them to shook their hands, with the kalash below her feet.,inbetween them…Arjun’s eyes widened when he saw Radhika to shook her hand…”di”,he uttered under his breath..

“I should kick this isn’t..you move”,Radhika said to Nandhini..

“Radhi..”,his words died the next second,when she gave one good kick to the rice jar shocking everyone there..Arjun reached the doorway only to see Nandhini and Rana
to stand rooted with their mouth wide opened and the rice to lay as a spread throughout their hall..the swirling sound of the metal jar alone ringed breaking the silence..

“Ok now”,Radhika jumped instead of stepping inside.. “Then..That red color water”,she smiled at Nandhini..

She extended her left arm sideways and was about to drop the bottle down,but Arjun snatched it and threw behind him…

“Who the hell”,she scowled turning back..Arjun glared with extreme anger..

“You are here Mr.Mehra!!..Welcome home”,She grinned., Nandhini and Rana looked to be in a ‘ready to be’ froze mode…

“What’s all this nonsense”,he grabbed her elbow and moved towards the stairs.,she staggered unable to match his fast walking and he got her in his arms the next instant…

“One more ritual”,she cheered high and squirmed to get down..but his grip turned hard as he ascended the stairs..

Once inside the room he dropped her..”You cheater…”she called him inbetween her hiccupps…She covered her mouth feeling nauseatic.,he pulled her to the washroom at the
right moment and she threw up the contents she gulped in haste…her whole shook as she strained herself unconsciously..she rubbed her stomach at the feel of it turn to be
emptied..He helped her in cleaning herself..”What have you done to yourself..Why baby”,he mumbled as he wiped her face with tissues…

“Why Ajju..”,she murmured in tears as she sagged in his hold..He laid her on the bed.. and went to clean himself…her words still in his mind…”Ajju”,he smiled..he saw her lying on her stomach and her tear strained cheek…She must have cried before coming here…his fingers caressed her cheek and he swiftly moved out..

“What happened to her?”,Nandhini asked to Arjun when he reached the hall..

“A small misunderstanding”,he said hastily and walked towards the parking…Checking the damages on both the cars.,”Make it fine as soon as possible”,he ordered to Rana and he himself checked her car for her belongings..He was surprised a little when he took a pistol from her car…Though Neil had informed,what was the need to carry it always..

“Di..we are moving..take care of yourself..I will call you”,he said as he ascended the stairs..Nandhini was surprised to see this side of Arjun..He was just informing her.,but he did make it clear that who is his priority now…She smiled a little..Arjun came down with her in his arms looking confused and worried…

“Aru…you could stay here…why are you taking her..”,she asked concerned…but he din’t respond…

“Seems you are so much in love with her”,she smiled at him..

He was irked listening that.,”Di..you never asked me not to fall for a girl..and she is the future owner of BS…I should take care isn’t”,he walked out with that…He had hard time to make her lie properly…Finally he accepted Rana’s offer to drive till their home..

“Ajju beta..Radhi will feel bad if she listens all this”,Rana spoke looking the rear view mirror..

Arjun looked her face in his lap,”She will understand me”,he smiled holding her cheek in his palm.. “She knew me…She will…and she has to..”,he patted her cheek gently.. Rana smiled looking Arjun..It’s true..Love has the power to get the toughest of all, on its knees…

“Ajju beta,why don’t we make Nandu understand..”,Rana asked looking the road ahead..

“No.!!! I can’t lose Nandu di…Think…What if she gets me wrong..Enough!! and let her be in her own world…My Radhika will understand me”,he smiled looking her face..

Arjun laid her on their bed and saw her lying form…She slept exhausted,with her mouth a little open…unconsciously a lone tear escaped from his left eye….he recalled Neil’s words…He got down the bed and sat on his couch facing her…He couldn’t understand why she din’t fight with him about the misunderstanding…about his stupidity of not asking her directly..he feared the chance to hurt her but it did happen even now..She was right he did a stupidity..and what was she doing now..she is punishing herself.!!..but ..for..what…he wasn’t the one to let this continue..He decided to make her speak her heart out..to vent her anger on him…atleast then she won’t be like this…her anger could be bearable but not this…

His mobile beeped with a message…he smiled when that wasn’t a message instead an alarm set by Radhika…”Its a week you proposed and I want a gift tomorrow”..he smiled at that..when did she set that..he din’t know..but its first time she demanded something from him…

Yea..it was last Sunday she made him to propose her….His love who craved for the known three words only to listen from him….He saw her to mumble in sleep….

His mind raced fast reminiscing one good old memory on them…

“You promised that you want have more than 3 shots…now what is this”,Arjun shook her shoulders irritated…

Radhika stood stumbling like a real drunkard raising his flames…

“Answer me!”,he said authoritative tone..

Preeti flinched at that..

” I..I…kept my promise…seeeeniorrrr…..3 of vodka..3 of wine….3 of whiskey…and 3 of…of…..”Radhika dragged…

“Whiskey!!! It stinks na Radhu”,Preeti asked…..

“Nooo”..,she said and coughed her breath over her palms..and faked to puke on Preeti….Preeti quickly stepped back.assuming it to be real… Arjun pulled Radhika’s ears at that…”Preethu…go for dinner…I will get her back”,Arjun said to her…

“Preeto…don’t go”,Radhika screamed at her disappearing form.

“Why were you acting”,he asked still holding her ear…

“Its paining”,she said looking his face…she smiled when he rubbed her ear lobe and asked again,”why?”….

“Where were you yesterday…I missed you senior”,she said as she stepped back

“So you irritated me…I came rushing when your classmate told that you were fighting being drunk…”,Arjun looked her sharp

She giggled,”I just love to irritate you…You look cute when you give that angry look..That khadoos kind..in Neil’s words.”,she took steps in backwards as he approached her with his hands slid in pockets.

“Oh really.. you love to???? Isnt”,he asked at her….

She stood pressing her lips…

“What that you want to say” he asked standing a feet away from her

She looked at his foot…raised her head and said,”the same.what you wanted to”..

Arjun smiled at that..,”Finish your course I will say”,he stepped back…

“Its over..this is last year isn’t”,she pouted as she walked along with him

“I told you..Masters…entrepreneurship..”He said

She stopped on her tracks…”.I feel… this is enough.. you know.!!…Am already clever”,she said like a fact…

He chuckled nodding his head in negative…

“Senior…when.some one asks me to study…I feel like puking”,she said rubbing her throat.

Arjun glared her saying,” I want you to do that…if not 2 years take 1 year course”,he walked ahead..

“Ok I will..”she yelled from behind…he animated a clap without turning back…”but only if you say that..”she smirked with a hand on her hip…

“Say what”,he asked equally high…

She walked to him narrowing her eyes..” I love to irritate you..cute Jerry”,he pulled her nose…

“Am.not a mouse”,she snapped his hand…

“You are…!!you do mischief and run like a mouse everywhere around the campus..who could catch this naughty Jerry”,he said leaning on a wall..

“Will you say or not”,she asked looking into his eyes..

His eyes snapped to her sleeping figure…he got on the bed and caressed her cheek saying,”I will…I love you Radhika…I love you..I love you so much.!”,he pecked her forehead but was surprised when she mumbled back,”love you too Ajjuu”..

His brows furrowed and next instant his eyes flew open when he heard a slightest groan near him..he turned and saw her to stir with a pout in her sleep…that’s when he noticed her clutch on his t shirt,her fingers must have got pressured as he turned the other side…as a reflex at that realization his fingers rubbed hers and she smiled and hummed at that….he pulled the sheets off and moved away..

Her face scrunched like a crushed paper when Arjun opened their balcony door…He kept the lemonade before him and sat relaxed in the couch scanning her….its gonna be a Herculean task to get answers from her for the questions troubling him….he sighed…

She turned to her left and curled more flapping her eye lids when she gained the conscious of day light…She blinked looking the bed,the place and above all the other side was empty…she jerked sat up right.

“Searching me Jerry?”,she turned listening his voice from her back and saw him Sitting leisurely with his right hand extended over the couch…Her vision slightly blurred and she felt some thing to drill behind her eyes…she gulped the lemonade the moment her eyes caught it….

“Still you feel your head heavy?”,he asked more like a doubt looking her disturbed….Few minutes later he gave another lemonade…he massaged near her temples standing before her…

She crooked her neck to get a clear vision of his face….why does it have to happen like this…every time she wakes up at this bed though she doesn’t want to….this is second time…she sighed as he continued…the unabating silence annoyed both..with him expecting her to fight or scold him and her expectations were the opposite….he bend down to her level and asked,”how do you feel now?”…

Her eyes shone with surprise listening that….She couldn’t look him straight,a part of her yearned to cling on his neck and pour all her pains,and drown herself in his love…her fingers clutched the sheets hard to control herself…her confused mind held her back…She saw him when he lifted her chin saying,”You said you wanna speak something..what’s that”…he asked soft…

This is it..!! This is the extreme one could go…even she won’t get on her knees to someone,like this…She knew it…but what’s the use when her mind questioned his act itself….This could be a act…somewhere back in her brain,an alert raised and a lone tear made its way down her cheek…Why she cried she dint know may be she realized…No…her lips quivered at her dare to think something like that….She blinked when her forehead hit with his…

“Enough..it’s enough”,he said looking her face and got on his feet..

She sat confused while he already left the room…..What if her fear turns true…She shook her head and got up swiftly only to stagger…she packed her bags the way she could…looking her untidy state she went to shower… Only his eyes stayed in her mind…’why wasn’t he annoyed with my dirty look’…a random thought crossed her mind….he was indeed looking her with a pleasant smile… it will be tough if she stays around him…No.!!..there is a lot to do…a lot…Arjun…! She banged her fist at that luxurious bathroom tiles..the Luke warm shower helped her a lot

He was about to wipe the wet droplets of his bare torso when he heard his mobile to ring

“Yes…”,he greeted sharp receiving the call at the last ring … “Jus a minute…Mr.Agarwal…I will check..”,he walked to his room and got his passport but his mind halted looking her packed bags….he clicked pics of the passport pages and forwarded captioning,”check yourself “..

His eyes narrowed in the luggage before him and he smiled reminiscing a past incident of his college time….

“Radhika …give my luggage”,Arjun banged his fist fast on that door of her room….it’s already a old one and he knew it will break anytime if he punches more…

“I already told that I don’t have..”,she replied staying inside..

“I know you took it…tell me how you got inside men’s hostel”,he yelled sharp…

” Why would I…I have fever…you need to leave this college isn’t…go!bye”,she said..he smiled when she spelt the last words as a meek one…

“I am leaving anyway…open the door dammit”, the door vibrated receiving his punch…

She slowly opened the door nearly after an hour…she loitered in the college premises and sat in a stone bench near the basket ball court…Neil and prakash were playing with Vivek…

“Free this weekend”,faizal came from nowhere…She gave a negative nod turning her face away….After few mins,she swiftly raised her head listening a familiar voice to cheer prakash….”Again!!!.try man”…Arjun walked to her cheering them…

“How is your fever”,he asked…

“Why are you here..still”,she asked with a liveliness lost voice..

“How could I leave without my luggage”,he smiled as he sat next to her..she saw his form soaked with sweat…

“Will you lend me some money…I need to purchase few dresses…”,he said out of the blue..

This was the first time he was asking some thing like a obligation and that too to her…she got up that instant.

“You see, I can stay in this same dress for next 2 years.”,he said smiling…looking her confused, he continued,”One of my junior wants me to stay back..so..Am here for Masters in International business…”he winked at her..

“Liar…I did check with office you had signed the records”,she hissed..

“I thought to stay in flats but now it seems impossible to leave”,he got up and walked behind her…

“That’s a lie…you go”,she said when tears threatened her vision…

“I can’t”,he said…His voice expecting her to respond…but she went fast…

She came back to the canteen after half an hour,while he sat chatting with Vivek..

“Radz…god..! A fever got you this down..Sit here..I will get you food”,Prakash said to her.. “You know..Arjun lost his luggage…and yeah..he is continuing Masters here…and Arjun.. move..You stink with sweat..”,Prakash mocked as he crossed Arjun to get a food tray..

Arjun sagged on the table with his elbows crossed..”Where are my bags”,he asked again..

“I did say,I don’t know…and you booked tickets isn’t…now whats this drama”,she turned her face…

“I booked tickets for Darjeeling..to meet my sister..I missed to reach on time as I was busy banging your room door”,he smiled looking her..

“Hmm…I saw few bags on the way to the first corridor of Men’s hostel”,she said looking the table…

“Really!! May be some angel helped me”,he got up..

“Could be a devil too”,she bit her lips..

“Hmm…yeah..Sweet cute little devil”,he said as he stooped forward…She glared at him… “Did Faizal help you in this?”,he asked all of a sudden and sat before her..

“I din’t take your bags”,She pressed her lips..

“Look here!!”,he said like a order..”And next time..If you step into Men’s hostel,I will leave this college..Radhika…I mean that”,he said in a sharp voice..

“Radz..move..,move”,Prakash came with a tray of food..”Why are you looking weird…”Prakash asked looking Arjun..

“Pk..someone informed about his missing luggage it seems”,Radz said munching a sandwich piece..

“Glad…Go..get it instead of eyeing our food…”,Prakash nudged Radz elbow and continued,”Wonder who got the guts to play with this khadoos”,

Arjun grinned at that…

“Why are you grinning…have you lost it”,Prakash mocked..

“May be Pk..Senior lost it in the shock of losing his infamous baggage”,Radhika said ..”Pk…where is my juice”,she pouted….

“Yep..he forgot to glare..like this”,Prakash imitated one of Arjun’s coldest stare and Radhika slouched on his shoulder laughing…”Like this”,she squeezed her eyes scrunching her nose..

“Ok..So..Radhika..near the corridor in Men’s hostel isn’t”,Arjun asked suddenly as he got up..

“No..On the way to the first corri…”,she bit her tongue when Arjun smirked and Prakash turned to her side…She bend her head down digging her plate..Arjun winked at Prakash with a smile…

“Time for my game”,Arjun mumbled and pushed her bags in another cupboard..he locked it fast and saw her clothes on bed…”If not my love what can bring you back”,he said to himself and hid it behind the arranged cushions..

The thick gush of water showering over her dissolved her tears in itself…Her head was still heavy…She remembered the very first moment she saw him..Can a person turn this weak in love.? her mind thudded and she slapped her forehead looking the cloth handle empty…covering herself in bathrobe she stepped out but was shocked to see Arjun’s bend form that too in bare torso…She searched her bags…”Where is my dress”,she asked sharp..

He turned around at that… He chuckled looking her…”I guess you are already wearing one”,he said..

“Idiot..I know its you”,she mumbled and tried pulling open the closed cupboard…He saw her still dripping hair and the floor to get wet at that..

“Dry to hair..you are spoiling the floor”,he said irritated..She in her self,was busy in searching beneath the bed and behind it…”Dry your hair and answer me you will get your dress”,he said to her face..

“Don’t smirk”,she gritted her teeth..and he did more as a reflex..She came with a bucket of water and began to splash it on the floor with a mug..”Give me my bags”,she yelled and poured a mug of water on him..”you are testing my patience Arjun”,she said ..

He came to hold her hand,”Stop this!”,he said sharp..but she wasn’t ready to listen…”You may slip”,he held her and instead he slipped with her in his hold… her jaw hit hard on his collar bone hurting her…He smiled looking her on top of him…”Just a bathrobe you are wearing…I could feel…”,she kept her palm over his mouth..He smiled mischievously at her kissing her palm..She managed to get up somehow holding his shoulder..

“So..my naughty Jerry was planning for a romantic move”,he asked as he got up..

“No..No..”,she retorted immediately..

“Then…”,he yelped scaring her with his hand on his back…”Can you call a doctor”,he asked..

“Why…Arjun…”she turned impatient.. “Why you came..see…where its hurting”,she tried to check his back..

He held her facing him and pulled her hand behind his waist,”Here…and here”,he locked both her hands behind his back…

“Where”,she rubbed his bare back..”Is it okay..now”,she asked again but blinked at his silence…

“What holds you back”,he asked cupping her cheeks in his hands…

“Nothing”,she mumbled..

“My love never lies.”,he spoke on her lips..He raised her a little and dropped over his toes..”Speak with me Radhika”,he said again,…

How could she, when his lips were still hovering on hers…”I..”,she opened her mouth.. His guttural hum teased her..she looked in his eyes which were on her lips now..his palms warming her cheeks..

“I love you so much baby”,he brushed his lips on hers and kissed on her lower lip…She could feel of losing herself before him..May be he is playing..lemme get over with this..she inhaled sharp and crashed her lips on his..”Surprise!”,he laughed on her lips before responding..She turned playful when he played with her tongue…his groans provoked her more and her hands explored every inch of his bare back and finally held his dark locks in its clasp…She was in no mind to let him go and so was he…His palms dared her sense and she felt her to respond more at his every touch,though it was over a thick bathrobe…the pressure he applied spoke a lot and he pulled back…”Your Tom Is hungry baby…Don’t tease me more”,he picked her like a toy and laid on the bed….He knelt on the bed looking her,he leaped forward pushing the her still wet hair from covering her face…He saw her to breathe
tensed looking the sudden change of atmosphere…”Relax”,he whispered as he planted wet kisses over her face..down her neck..and his right opened her bathrobe knot..she tried to stop him with her hands on his chest.,her hand slid with the wetness she poured over him and reached his waist..he responded at her touch and turned wild biting her below her neck line…the heat rising inbetween them alerted her..She was wrong..!!.she will be the one to lose if she gets over this…”Arjun”,she called him and held his jaw… he lifted his head from the hollow of her shoulder.. “Yea”,he pecked her lips..

“Are..you ..happy”,she asked suddenly….he bit her earlobe and snuggled more…

“More to go”,he mischievously remarked..

“So..will that more, will get you what you want?”,she asked while she felt her teeth to chatter a little…her hands still on his bare shoulders..He looked baffled..”Riddle”,he asked..

“umm…My company…”,she said breathing heavily…this could be a wrong step too her mind alerted at last..

“What is with your company now”,he asked annoyed..

“Will this….having me on your bed..Do you think this will help you in claiming my properties”,she asked finally with a suspicious look while her face clearly exhibited a shade of rage of being cheated…

She would blindly bet a million dollar that he was shocked..like really…His face lost its color…
